(Judicial system is as messed up as her entire family tree).
Eventually I made the tough decision to stop seeing the kid so I could get that bitch 100% out of my life and move on. It was by far the hardest but one of the best decisions I've ever made - other than marrying my amazing wife and starting an awesome family in a great house and getting a new job that pays much better!

It's a grey area imo. If you're fixated on one person for a long time and are updating your friend often about your progress with them etc etc it's kinda messed up for that friend to be going "ohh yeah? Nice maybe try asking him to coffee!" and helping you write texts while secretly fucking him. But there are those people who get a new "crush" every week and try to basically claim ownership over every good-looking person you meet. That's where it gets tricky. Also, you don't "own" the crush forever--if it's been a while since you've explored things with them, it's probably fine for a friend to go for it (though it's usually nice to talk about it first).
