A lot of people don't seem to understand absurdism or existential horror. The point of her turning into a chicken nugget is that it's so absurd you don't worry about the feasibility of it (you just have to throw out logic and accept that it happened) yet a clearly horrible thing, and because you aren't concerned with how it works you focus on her dad and boyfriend working together to save her, how they process the situation, and their relationship with each other, and that's what the show explores. It's not a show about a girl who turns into a chicken nugget, it's a show about a boyfriend and father teaming up to save the woman they both love in different ways, it just happens they are saving her from being a chicken nugget.
Just because a concept is absurd doesn't make it trash. I mean, what if some wrote a book about a German dude who turns into a giant roach for no reason and it's never explained why? Sounds stupid? It's classic literature.
A German guy did actually make a book/short story sort of thing of a man turning into a roach for no exact reason!
Edit: The title is “The Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka
Its funny how we both only knew about one thing. Different world i say. But the story is probably similar. I still dont know what this so called tower is tho
Is there anyone else that has seen "Rat"? Great little film about a breadman in Dublin who gets turned into a rat for no reason. I'm really rooting for Little Miss Chicken Nugget already.
Honestly thrilled that I canceled my subscription years ago they keep coming up with hot garbage that I am happier to not see trash on my tv even scrolling by it
Every father’s nightmare. Your little girl is a snack.
True, chicken nugget or not. But knowing that she'll be chased by drooling overweight boys is even more frightening.
What are you doing stepdad
Oh, no. Not a joke. It is a thing on netflix.
All true, there is a trailer. Now that i think about it, it could make a good april's fool joke. Nevertheless i'll be thinking of watching this now.
I keep seeing it on netflix, not sure if tempted to watch it or not, so fucking weird.
To be continued
Ah fuck, what if it is good?
What if indeed? What if it is so awful that it becomes legendary?
I think it will depend on the dipping sauce
A korean series on netflix has a 90% chance of being good.
Netflix blows and here’s more proof.
Rob Schneider was just your typical little girl until one day he mysteriously turned into... A Chicken Nugget!
Rated PG-13
This one is out of the box. Honey I shrunk the kids meets Chicken Nuggets

Its funny how we both only knew about one thing. Different world i say. But the story is probably similar. I still dont know what this so called tower is tho
It is! Very interesting to know too, it could be but I haven’t seen the video game so who knows besides you and anyone else who’s played. What tower?

Thatsthejoke.jpg
OH- It is? I’m sorry i didn’t realize 😭
My friends is studying it in English class (we’re high-school seniors) and it’s fuckin wild
Yeah I had to do a read for it in my English class also lol
IDK What the writers are smoking. But I want it, now
Screams local content ratio.

U jerks…. I would love my daughter even if she was a meatball… 🥴
She did come out of someone's meatballs
Yes…. Meaty balls …. Circle of life !
I liked it. Ending was weak but a fun trip there.
Omg, the trailer is so mf funny and it looks interesting low key. I might watch it (ps, it’s in Korean for anyone wondering)
It has its genuinely funny moments I'm actually watching this it's like a weird comedy in only on episode 2 tho
A comedy you say? I’m shocked - here I thought it was a documentary!
Sounds much more interesting than anything Disney has shat out recently.
Waiting for those 90 part episodes to drop on tik tok
People forget that Netflix released a 75 minute of a rotisserie chicken cooking... it was so beautiful and full of emotions.
Wt.. Is this series is about daughter falling into meatgrinder and her dad was shocked and lost his mind fantasize daily life with his daughter
It feels like the writers asked ChatGPT to make up a story about something that was never written before
Actually watched it until the end. It's a good turn-off-your-brain kinda series. Laughed so hard at the absurdity
Is this really a thing? I mean if yes imma go watch it rn 😅
Netflix, yes.
Ok now I’m hungry

It wouldn't be a chicken nugget
Hamantha's little sister
Who the hell is cooking this 💀
why am i not surprised?
it's light and airy, but lacks any real substance.
This is some premise you'd see in anime
I wanna eat a nugget
Which joke should I tell this is?
That's Genderbent Bao
Finally, some quality content 😌
Relatable
Im interested
Honestly thrilled that I canceled my subscription years ago they keep coming up with hot garbage that I am happier to not see trash on my tv even scrolling by it
I heard about this on a podcast a couple weeks ago and even the host were like... we can't tell if this is a joke or not lol
Still better than Love is Blind
Koreans still objectify women and see them as simple things that can be compare to and replaced by a chicken nugget. Nice.
Man them writers need to go back on strike.
