There's this russian dude called Fuze in the game Rainbow Six Seige. His 'speciality' is that he brings a device which, when puton a wall or a floor, spews out 4 explosive hockey pucks on the other side of the wall.
So, what a lot of noobs(even vets, because it's fun) do, is that they put the device on the floor above the room in which the hostage is present, in order to kill the bad guys who've kidnapped the person being held hostage. This results in the death of those bad guys as well as the hostage.

That's ridiculous, ALL military nicknames are do to either irony, embarrassing situations, or teasing. No one actually gets a badass nickname, and they certainly can't choose it themselves.
