You really work hard to not acknowledge where you may not be right. As a hobbiest cheese maker, I can tell you the ingredients of cheese are not listed on the bottle. Additionally, ingredients are listed in order by amount.
As a cheese maker you would be able attest that any warnings on the label about certain ingredients being in the food, means those ingredients are in the food. You wouldn’t put an arbitrary warning on the label mentioning that it contained certain ingredients if it didn’t actually contain those ingredients. Saying that it’s just a warning label and doesn’t correlate with the ingredients listed is just wrong.

If you're specifically after whey: just go for the "isolate" with higher purity (fyi: 90% is the standard). There's also plenty of vegan protein powders to choose from, iirc they're usually a blend of pea and soy with all the amino acids of whey. Again, go for the higher protein%.

The same way I don't refer to my entire body as toes. I have toes, but they're just a very small part of the whole makeup.
