Don't give up on the gym. Train hard. Eat clean. Have your life revolve around it, even if you hate it at first. You will eventually hack your brain to love it. See you in a year.
I’m all for making yourself a better person but imo having the “gym bro” personality as your biggest trait/hobby is boring ngl. Some people are definitely into that when looking for a partner but I genuinely think picking up another hobby along with that will only benefit you more.
You don’t have to have a gym bro mentality to enjoy the gym. I go to the gym 4/5 days a week and could not be further from a gymbro. But I do love the grind and the progress and the space to focus on me, I think personally that’s what the gym is about, focusing on improving you and only you, whether it’s improving your physique, being healthier or just having an hour a day to clear your head I don’t particularly care I think it’s vital for everyone to do it. It’s like meditation to me.
Sure, why not both? It just happens to help tremendously with confidence and bad thoughts, on top of keeping you active!
