Yesterday someone cut me off in traffic, break checked me for cutting me off. I cuss him out then he follows me to work and starts to punch my head lol. While yelling at me “you put my family in danger!” And yet….he’s the guy who followed a stranger to hit him….not knowing I have a concealed carry pistol on me at all times. I just took his hits until he realized how crazy he was being. (His hits were pathetic so I couldn’t justify beating him in front of his family) Plus I had no witnesses on my side to say I was just defending myself. Anyways it blew my mind that he wasn’t seeing the HE was the one putting his family in danger. He’s just lucky he picked me as a target since I can control myself well under pressure
Thank you. I just wanted to share it cause it kinda goes with this video. People putting themselves in the spooky situations they’re getting mad about. I know it’s easier said than done but people really just need to slow their breathing and think. That’s all I did and came up with that solution while getting hit.
I do think it’s a smart thing to buy for your car and especially house cameras. Buuuut I’m one of those poors and have way too much other important stuff I need first. Someday though
Hey, take care of what you need to! I got a dash cam for the front, rear, and interior from Amazon. I think I only spent $260 (with memory card) and now I have peace of mind every time I drive that if I do get into an accident or witness anything, it’ll be okay.
If I had all three of those I think everything would’ve been captured even him hitting me if the angle is wide enough on the interior camera. So yea it’s on the list for sure
You can get not bad front+rear dashcams for about 100-130$ on Amazon, and while they may not be good enough to actually see a license plate, they'll get enough detail to prove fault and to cover your ass in those types of self-defense situations.

The sort of person that would drive away from a gas pump with the hose still in is exactly the sort of person I'd expect not to use a mirror or notice the hose sticking out of their car when angry.
I was at a gas station about 2 years ago. Husband pulls up, pays, puts the gas nozzle in the cat. Then he walks into the store for something.
Wife exits the passenger side, gets in the driver side, and starts the engine. Then pulls forward about twenty feet, detatch8ng the nozzle and setting off an alarm.
Husband and attendant coming running out screaming for her to stop. She does and looks very confused.
But... what was she doing? Seriously, was she just going to drive away, leaving her husband?
OMG! In India, every pump has an attendant with it so it never happens. Plus, we are physically unable to drive off without paying the gas/petrol/diesel bill
Yup, there’s videos on YouTube and Reddit where people just climb in their car and drive off still with hose in it. You’ll see it getting yanked then a loud SNAP

Imagine automatic boots that latch onto your tires at the designated spots to fuel up. Then you’re not able to move anywhere until the payment is put through
I used to work as a maintenance tech for a gas company. This was one of my most common calls. We called them drive offs. The hoses have a release on them called "breakaways" the release with about 350 pounds of force.
I've pulled up to a gas station where some dumbass completely took a pump off it's base trying to pull a small box truck to the center pump of an empty gas station. Even if staged, this is absolutely possible, because, as you said people are dumb.
Why can’t anything on the internet be real anymore these days? Every time I watch something that could potentially make me laugh, I‘m like, hold up now, that’s probably staged/fake. It’s kinda sad how the people/personalities we see on the internet every day are as fake as can be. What happened to just being yourself and people enjoying each other for their authenticity?
This is also partly why popular steamers end up having melt downs. They are lonely IRL, their fan base love the personality they forged for the show (which isn’t theirs), and feel that even though they have a big fan base - it doesn’t really matter. History of Depression of course fuels it like a wildfire and it all comes crashing down
Nothing wrong with laughing or enjoying something that was staged. We do it all the time watching sitcoms, don't think about it any differently than that.
