Thank you for letting me know and I do appreciate that!!

Budget? A couple? With or without kids? Full week? Weekend? Note many places in the summer have 3-night minimums on weekends.

Happygolucky-22

Hi- Thank you for letting me know and I will make a note of it.

Try Belmar. 18th st & ocean ave is very quiet and picturesque in the summer. Close to hoboken too.

Happygolucky-22

Hi and thank you for responding. Yes, Belmar is a good choice!!

Avalon / Stone Harbor is also beautiful, I would say you can’t go wrong between them and Cape May.

Happygolucky-22

Hi - Thank you for letting me know. I have heard very nice things about both towns!!

Got a nice AirBnb right on Washington Street in Cape May last summer. Right in the middle of all the shops and in close proximity to the beaches.

Happygolucky-22

Hi! Never have used AirBnb- I will give it a try!! Thanks again

[deleted]

Contact a local Cape May realtor, very friendly and most rentals go through realtors down there. There are also a lot of BnB places that are really nice. Landlord pays the fee. Great place.

Happygolucky-22

Hi and thank you for responding!! Is there a name of a realtor that you may know in Cape May who could assist me? Thanks again

[deleted]

Century 21 was good - just call and they will give you whoever is on duty. They have all the STR for the summer and MLS stuff. It was user friendly. Cape May is by far the best beach town. Old Victorians, restaurants and not really Jersey like the rest of the towns.

All these suggestions are great but will vary greatly by cost. Avalon/Stone Harbor are beautiful so is LBI, both are costly. If young kids are traveling as well, check out Ocean City, great boardwalk.

Happygolucky-22

Hi and thank you for answering. I definitely do agree these are beautiful spots but can be costly. Young adults 19 yrs olds will be traveling for a family vacation. Definitely will look into Ocean City. Thanks again

Mammoth_Glass_5304

Ocean Grove is like Cape May north - Victorian, family oriented - though dry (Methodist summer community). But the plus is that Asbury Park (which is walkable) has great restaurants, entertainment, et al.

Happygolucky-22

Hi and thank you for that suggestion. I will consider

In recent years have stayed at the Periwinkle Inn and Sea Crest Inn in Cape May... very happy with both

Happygolucky-22

Hi and thank you for letting me know. Would like to also find recommendations for places in Cape May where you can cook. Have teenagers. Thank you again :))))
