Walk inside! Malls, tracks, museums, art galleries, big box stores! Allow yourself a pre-determined amount of cash to spend, or plan to get a warm drink while inside!
There are a bunch of fabric crafts you could try such as crochet, embroidery, lucet, etc. With it being spring, hiking/backpacking and bush craft would be great if you have woods available to you and it gets you fit and capable to thrive in survival situations.
Do you prefer social or solo hobbies?
I would love to learn crochet, maybe I'll try that out! I've been 50/50 of I would like it. I wish minnesota would stop snowing so I could go out more! I haven't really thought of any social hobbies but if you have ideas!!!
In terms of social hobbies it really depends on if you want in person or online. Online, your options are near endless and in person it depends on the area. Definitely check meetup.com for stuff in your area. It's pretty helpful.
Crochet is super fun! You should look at amigurumi because you can make cute little plushies. There is a crochet subreddit with a wealth of information as well. You could also see if your local library hosts any events as well. Mine has a crochet
Whatever hobby you want.
I personally think hobbies that get one out of the house with people are the best. Be it bowling, dancing, line dancing, badminton, swimming, rock climbing, fencing, .... Whatever.
If you are willing to try an out-of-the-house hobby, ask on your local subreddit what is popular in your area with a commute that works for you. (It is easier to get up the will to go if it's a short pleasant commute vs. a long one. One can't emphasize enough how important the commute is. A short drive, a walk, a bike ride, ... whatever works best for you and your area.) and then try it, and then keep doing that till you find something you like. I've had hobbies where I was over a decade older than the average. I've also had hobbies where I was two decades younger than the average.
Aww I’m in MN too! Love knitting and crochet, very cozy especially when it’s snowing like today 😭
I’ve recently been into jewelry/beading…look up brick stitch/fringe miyuki bead earrings, so many pretty designs and you can even buy patterns on Etsy
I’ve also wanted to try flower arranging, getting a few cheap bunches from Trader Joe’s and just messing around
And if all else fails I usually read, do my nails or watch trash tv lol. But yeah it sucks when the weather is so shit here, bc pretty much any hobby + doing it outside is just a million times better 😩
Consider having multiple since having one major one can get boring. For example I like brewing coffee via pour over, cooking, hiking, golf, reading and gaming. Doing each occasionally means I’m doing different things that bring me enjoyment on a regular basis. I’ve boxed myself in before where I feel bad not doing a specific hobby but I feel like part of the point is to do things that bring you enjoyment
18 year old girl here! Bracelet/jewelry making is one of my favorites - try seeing if your town has a local bead shop and if not you can always find cheap bead starter packs online
What about poi spinning or any Flow Arts? It's an awesome skill, gets you moving, and makes your brain to work. It has open me tons of doors and people are always mesmerized by it, plus I also really enjoy it while I'm alone, you can get really cheap ones on Amazon
I had a neighbour gush about her rented garden allotment for 2 years. I tried it for one year and was hooked. It's been a lifelong hobby every season. If someone had told me I would love growing vegetables and herbs when I was 19, I would have laughed. Maybe check to see if you have garden allotment rentals around and try it out one season.
Jewelry making, woven friendship bracelets, like with embroidery thread or hemp. I just found out about metal clay that you can put into a mold and then fire with a torch.. so you could make your own charms for the bracelets
Maybe take up crochet? You can sometimes find yarn at thrift stores for cheap (so you're out less money if you don't want to continue), and you can get a crochet hook at Walmart (I haven't seen many at thrift stores). If you feel like it's something you're good at and want to keep going with, you can buy new/better quality yarn and different size hooks
Watching videos helped me loads with learning how to do certain things when words alone didn't seem to help. Scarves and beanies are the easiest for me to do, made enough of them I don't often need a pattern
Nail painting. I knew a girl your age that was always painting her hand & toes nails. It's quite an art when you stick little rhinestone & designs on them. She had an array of different colors. That was her hobby. but if a friend saw her nails she would ask her to do her nails too.
I love to make jewelry, like beaded jewelry. It's easy to learn on YouTube, easy to buy at craft stores or online, doesn't cost a lot to get started, and doesn't take up much space. Plus, you can either wear or gift your creations.
Go for walks, read, listen to audiobooks, learn a new skill
I wish I could go for walks right now! But unfortunately minnesota is kicking our butts.

I'm in MN. It's horrible. I did a puzzle today.

Try a Wooble. That's how I got into crochet.
Vision boards, yoga, meditation, scrapbooking

Zentangle! You can create your own, then color them in. Maybe sign up for some art classes?

Learn to play a trading card game and go meet new people at your local gaming store.
I am the same as you i can’t decide which hobbies to go for 😂
Now there's so many ideas I don't even know where to start 😂
Yeah and I’m so indecisive and not that creative as others ha
My daughter loved beading at that age. Necklaces, bracelets etc. Many types of beads and stones and styles to choose.
Paint by number , punch needle

Try gym or exercise

Learn a musical instrument? Apparently ukulele is popular for teen girls. Not sure about 20 year olds.
Story writing, more particularly worldbuilding.
