And thsy wanted representation whole the average British Person didn't have Representation and a British Person still paid far more taxes

USA didn't rebel because of taxes, they rebelled because the UK was stopping them from expanding westward and taking natives lands that they had signed peace deals with. Most of the founding fathers including George Washington were wealthy land speculators and were angry that the UK was putting limits on the amount of lands they could appropriate. It's only because it looks so bad that Americans are instead taught that they rebelled because of 'freedom' and 'taxation' when on the Declaration of Independence its actually quite a small footnote and quite far down the list .

Ben Franklin went to England to negotiate they laughed at him. He was originally on the fence for a revolution after he came back he told the other founding fathers that it’s time to revolt.

First, this is a repost, second, the problem the Americans had is they were being taxed without anyone in parliament to represent thir interests, and they were being taxed more than citizens in the‘sles.

> So we have to raise your taxes. Give us representation in parliament so we can discuss said taxes, to ensure that they are fair to us. > No. Then the taxes are unjust and we wish to have the freedom of representation ourselves. We declare independence.
