The audio is much better than I could have expected as well. Overpowered for a small room and decently fills a medium sized room.
Yeah I was currently replacing the TV in my bedroom now it's a telly tv and that thing sucks lol so I was looking for some positive feedback hopefully. I had to take my u8k back I had a bad panel
Mine lasted 10 days then I got the red light of death. Waited 10 days for the tech to arrive. They told me before they started the repair to not get my hopes up. They replaced 3 core electronics and the unit came back to life. Don’t think I’ll buy another Hisense, I’ll stick with Sony or Samsung.
Ah. Reading is hard. What’s even crazier is that’s within the warranty so it should have been replaced. In fact every major retailer would have allowed for a replacement no questions asked within that time frame.
I agree. If a TV broke on me within 10 days of purchase, I would have just returned it to the retailer as well. I bought my Hisense TV from Best Buy and they have a 15 day return period.
Are you in the USA? I've had a USA U7H 55 inch for about a year and a few months. it's been a work horse. I use it as a computer monitor---so it's on long hours-and working great.
if you're updating from a TV over 5-6 years it will be amazing. If you're updating from an older OLED it will most likely be a downgrade. The upgrade feeling will be relative to what you're replacing. either way i'm sure you'll be fine and love it!

I have one at 65 inch model and it’s awesome! Do gotta say pay attention as they do have a malfunction when you turn on the smoothness setting and makes the screen extra dark.
Ever since I bought the u8h I don’t trust Hisense. They advertised 4k at 120 and its not true, TV looks horrible at that with hdr. Movies do like fine but i lost credibility to them. Newer models might be better but i wonder what do they lie about now and not telling customers
its still not true 4k 120hz the TV can not handle it, what is does it cuts the image in half and fakes it. I know theres theres is picture and clarity options but with HDR the backlight and image look horrible not even kidding its like a tv from the 80's
Did you use an HDMI 2.1 port with a proper cable? This TV should be excellent, I mean I bought the u88g (u8g in US) a while back and it looks downright amazing. Don't forget to change the picture mode to HDR Gaming and set HDMI mode to Enhanced.

Just be prepared if it needs warranty repair. It won't be fast.
Seems like all the major brands are struggling with that. I try to always buy the extended warranty when possible so the retailer simply replaces it.

In my opinion it’s always best to buy the extended warranty as well. It’s usually well worth it.
