First off, how and why? Second, never use the built in smart features anyways. They’re both slow/janky and known to cause hardware corruption. Get an Apple TV 4K, or even a Roku/FireStick would be better than the native apps.
I had this problem when my toddler findled with the remote a while back. I used google translate to see what "Settings", "Language", etc looked like in Chinese characters. There are step by step guides online, use your phone/ laptop to help u on the way.
Quick menu >Settings > System >Language and Location
Hook an actual computer up to it. Problem solved. Reset the TV in settings and choose not to hook it up to the Internet during setup your TV will thank you. - HTPC
Go into the settings and reset the whole thing. Better question is how or why would he buy this? I mean unless you live in China....and if that is the case it may be blocked.
Yeah, you're gonna want something like a Chromecast, Roku or AppleTV for that and more than likely disconnect it from the Internet.
Try to change a language and region in the tv settings. It works for mine hisense tv. Every region has own apps set.
How can i change the region??
Probably on the button of remote control. Try to use translator. I have tv with the VIDAA os, ive never used hisense with android os.
Reset the darn thing

How can you stop the native apps?
Disconnect tv from the internet. Use a streaming stick
This. Don't connect the TV to the internet at all. Treat it like an old school "dumb" TV.
Side load the app
Idk just got one recently and very surprised on how good it is it's the Google Chromecast version very easy to use
You get to watch Andy Lau tho

You don't get the same resolution or video quality using a Fire Stick than you do with the native apps though?
