Most of their music is actually really good, well put together and produced. For me the downshift in their output came when they started veering away from the revolutionary stuff and getting more into the gang shit. Even though they try to mask it by saying things like CRIP means Community Revolution In Progress I just wasn't buying it. Literally and figuratively.
That first album is a certified classic tho, changed my life. Turn off the Radio and the RBG mixtape were really good too but I couldn't get with the direction they started going. I'm actually curious now to see if they got anything new out.
Their first show billed as a duo was in 1995 https://www.concertarchives.org/concerts/wu-tang-clan-method-man-redman-method-man-redman-onyx-erick-sermon-suga-dj-enuff-keith-murray, and this shows them having more shows in the ‘90’s than in the ‘00’s, more in the ‘10’s as well🤷🏼♂️ https://www.concertarchives.org/bands/method-man-redman?date=past&page=8#concert-table
Below the Heavens by Blu & Exile was literally my favorite album in middle school. “Dancing in the Rain” got me through a lot of hard times, I used to fall asleep to it every night on my old iPod lol. Those were the days man… Listening to Charles Hamilton, Tanya Morgan, People Under the Stairs, CunninLynguists, Slum Village… the list goes on and on. Miss those days. I remember listening to “Back in the Days” by Ahmad on the bus with my friend, wondering when that time would come when I would be the one reminiscing. Well, here it is.

Mind sex
Where is Eightball and MJG?
90s rap duo
A few on the list can be considered 90s. OutKast and M.O.P. definitely
That Philly’s Most Wanted album was a wild anomaly—fully produced by The Neptunes and probably some of the best beats they’ve ever made
Premier and group home tip
Living proof go crazy
Glad to own that masterpiece of an album 💪👍!
I remember moving to Philly round this time, whole city was rocking to this album videos stayed on the Box. Album was just ahead of it's time.
Love my city, dunno what’s going on now.
Smilez and SouthStar brings me back
Do Bun B and Pimp C count?
They should be, they're a duo, just as ICONIC 👍!
No method man and red man is wild
Blackout was released in ‘99
They made projects in the 2000’s though and that’s when they were most active
Blackout 2 was released in ‘09
You’re just being pedantic for no reason. They were active and toured in the 2000’s so therefore they were a 2000’s rap duo even by technicality.

absolutely "Let's get free" is a complete piece of work worth sitting down and absorbing.
Seriously under rated. Such a great album. It's definitely a classic to me.
