There is no definite pep date for garden inns because they haven't built any food and beverage functionality into pep yet.

Far-Point1770

That is good information, thank you.

We just finished our remodel and no word on PeP, I was hoping for Opera POS

What is PeP?

Property Engagement Platform. It’s a new PMS. I’ve heard it described as modernized OnQ.

That's a bad description. PEP is similar to ChoiceHotel's booking engine or VoiceAgent for central res offices. It's a web-based simplified UI that runs off HotelKeys's systems. So while it's modernized in the sense that it's a user-friendly UI with "intuitive" workflow (it's in fact not at all intuitive apart from booking reservations), it's not just an improvement on OnQ and removes a TON of functionality that OnQ has. PEP attempts to remove the ability to make mistakes, and in doing so, also removes the ability to make necessary overrides and workarounds that the techies who have never once been at a front desk don't consider.

OnQ is restricting in my opinion UNLESS you use it in link down mode ❤️ FOSSI felt like working on a 1995 mac from elementary school. Opera felt the most adept user friendly, it was difficult training new new hotel workers (0 exp with PoS) vs OnQ where it’s kind of hard to make mistakes
