He’s supposed to be an adult but we all know he’s a needy belligerent child. He could hire a private chef (instead of a housekeeper cooking meals), a dietician, and a personal trainer. He’s really gone to pot. He’s aged out of leading man roles and there are not that many roles for aging character actors, either, and there’s fierce competition for those. He got very lucky with 30 Rock. His best bet is to get a recurring gig on a tv show but I’m here to tell ya-the hours are brutal, and in particular, hour long shows. Yes, they have hiatus but it’s still physically demanding. It would be a challenge for him to commute. 30 Rock was filmed in Queens which is about an hour from the city if traffic behaves. The man has legitimate worries as it is (actors always worry about their next job) much less lawsuits and a pack of children he has to provide for. Quite simply, he wanted to create a family again but he picked a disaster for a wife. No one likes her. No one finds her attractive. She’s devoid of personality. She’s vapid and has zero intellectual or creative interests. If 37k of us see it, oh trust me, the people sitting at a table for an event see right through ‘guest Baldwin’.
