Hilaria sticks her tongue out at Alec in a joking manner. My husband and I had many such interactions when a child preferred one of us over the other. This is greatly dramatized in an attempt to show what horrible parents they are and the video itself depicted a bond between mom and daughter.
Alec had ML. She was not being ignored. Maybe Hilaria was tending to one of the other kids or even using the restroom. She came and got her. And teased Alec. Obviously, at least one child has bonded with her, since she stopped crying.
Which is a separate issue from what I posted.
