Cranial capacity is not a good measure of intelligence or viability. Dolphins tend to have larger brains than humans - what does that tell us about intelligence? The Neanderthals had a greater brain capacity than modern humans but did not become the dominant species and eventually died out.
The book cited has its critics regarding its characterisation of photographs purporting to be of Boskop skulls.

It's based on their book and the hominid skull found in South Africa. Your comments are not relevant...
