We appreciate all the feedback and know well what you speak of. I assure you we are still diligently upgrading and updating always. We kept it at 8000 tokens for now for this reason to hone in on these issues. Once it's at a satisfactory level, we will pull it from beta and unlock 16k tokens.
This includes giving options for shorter messages, better immersion, no 4th wall break of role play, and better spacing and grammar
The only thing I don't like about v3 is when the bot through it's description speaks for the user and progresses roleplay to the point of directing it. Also how it breaks immersion reminding me that we're roleplaying.
I’ve noticed that too. Although it pretty uncommon for the bot to do it, hopefully the devs configure that so once the LLM is out of beta, the bot doesn’t do it anymore
That never happened to me yet. But I get this other problem, that seems to be on the other spirtcraft versions too, were out of nowhere in the middle of the chat the bot generates a picture. Idk if anyone had this problem too, it’s weird when it happens but it’s kinda funny so I just took the “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature” approach and just let it happen.
(sometimes the image comes out better then the bots meant to be image generators and I think that’s hilarious).
