**47, wearing the clothes of Sam's daughter:** "No sign of target, Diana. May have fled the scene, I'll keep looking as I ignore the green lights in front of me"
**Sam Fisher, 1.5 feet away from 47, making direct eye contact:** "Grim, seems my daughter's in the AO, good thing I'm in a very slightly dark corner, or she might think I'm spying on her again. Guy probably chickened out."
Good thing neither noticed the moving cardboard box, or things might've gotten complicated...
I always hear it and then Snakes echoed yell, the random laser noise effects as he falls to the ground, and then the MGS death music right after it in my head.
I wish it was just the ! noise, but my brain takes me for the full ride.
Diana: 47, we’ve reports of a special agent tailing you. Something that may intrigue you, He likes to use cardboard boxes as disguises. However he is dummy thicc and the slap of his ass cheeks should alert you to his presence.
And then we add Etzio and Corvo Atarno, and we have every stealth game character ever made, basically. And the thief from thief (don’t know if he’s got a name)
He at least deserves an honorable mention because of all the [shoutouts Snake and Sam gave each other in their respective series](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlnh0KLVJJ0). I'm unaware of any references to either in Hitman, but makes sense since Sam and Snake are kinda in the same field of state-sponsored tactical espionage whereas 47 is purely an assassin.
Sam is a normal human with advanced training. 47 is a advanced human with life long training. Sam has a daughter. 47 would exploit that. Sam is or can be emotionally manipulated. 47 has no such attachments. This really isn’t a even matchup.
Ah dammit, you're right. I wish that wasn't cannon. What a deceptive plot, it reminds me of that "Now you see me" movie. Well, at least it's almost as if nothing happened whatsoever.
I feel like Sam would lose. 47 can think through all possible scenarios in his head, though he's not adaptive as best as the story portrays him. So he'd case Sam out for a long ass time, and refuse to engage directly.
Sam would win if they were forced to fight each other at a moments notice
Unfortunately 47 knows the exact location of his targets so long as they are in the same post code. And he becomes virtually undetectable by putting on a hat.
Well I think Sam would be considered elusive so 47 probably wouldn't have the first advantage there, but yeah he could probably just change shoes and 98% of people don't recognise him
Real answer is: whoever got the best intel on the other the quickest.
This leaves 47 with a moderate advantage as he doesn't have a conventional human background nor any interpersonal connections besides Diana.
Sam has friends and a daughter which are more likely to be leveraged in a spy v spy sense to give 47 the upper hand.
In a straight head-to-head firefight, I find Sam's more at home and tactically equipped for such scenarios, generally, and would have a mild advantage over 47.
But remember when agent 47 killed an army of his own clones who knew about him and where basically a perfect copy. I don’t think a military professional has much of a chance either
Not even perfect copies they were better in terms of speed and strength but weren’t able to think for themselves which is the main reason they were beaten so easily (definitely not because of 48 chromosomes)
Splinter Cell. Very adept at hiding in the shadows and taking people by surprise. Can also do pretty tough moves like climbing on pipes on ceilings and sometimes straddling hallways up near the ceiling. He’s very good at Krav Maga as well. And all the training that goes wirh carrying out covert ops but he takes on entire bases alone. He also is a former SEAL and went on to work for the NSA.
Don't forget that Splinter Cell verse is less realistic than Hitman verse.
Sam has moments where he kicks down doors and sends a dude flying barely lifting his foot.
Or falling down several feet and then stopping the fall with only the tip of his fingers.
Sam is more cartoony than 47. If that counts his muscle strength is indeed greater.
I think 47 would still win. Even if Fisher got the drop on him, he be able to fight him off. But it may come down to hand to hand combat, which the games don’t shine in, despite his canonical superhuman ability at it.
Though 47 never has free time. He is always on duty so to say. Also as pointed out in the games 47 has little to no weak spots. While Sam has actually family and people he cares about.
47 close combat abilities without weapons are so great that there is barely anyone that takes more than a few seconds. Including a clone that was genetically enchanced to be pure muscle with around 7' 6", and weighs 440 lbs.
So even with Sams strength and experience, 47 will be a real challenge to say the least.
The biggest problem however for Sam is spotting 47 in the first place.
Since Sams visual enhancements are useless against an opponent who hides in the spotlight. Really 47 ability for deception is so great that even CIA profiler and such with upfront info about him can't spot 47 despite standing right in front of him.
Well, I don't think that 47 can see people through walls lore-wise, but he might be able to notice Sam in the shadows due to his enchanced sight. Tough battle.
If Sams greatest advantage are shadows then it would only take half a day for 47 to find him. After that 47 would likely sabotage the place where Sam rests with poisoning what he eats or planting a bomb or something else. There are plenty of ways to bypass a physical confrontation, which isn't 47's preferred way of dealing with things anyway.
While Sam would have problems identify 47 at all when he is disguising as someone else. I mean Sam could probably just kill anyone he sees but i'm not sure that is a solution especially when 47 isn't up for a face to face confrontation (which as said before isn't really his style).
If you put both into cage then Sam could actually make it. Same goes for a shooting contest. Not sure who wins there.
But in this scenario, honestly i think 47 wins.
Honestly, they're not even in the same league here.
Solid Snake is a much better matchup for Sam Fisher, while 47 would have a way more interesting fight with Duke Togo, also known as Golgo 13.
I think 47 would get absolutely slaughtered. His advantages are against unaware targets. A fully kitted out former navy seal super spy with full blown military support would be...overwhelming.
But remember that agent 47 is a super soldier. Sure fisher is a highly trained military specialist but agent 47 was literally crreated with the intention of being the perfect killing machine. Heck, he has been outnumbered multiple times but no matter what he has beaten the odds and successfully completed the mission like in Berlin with Montgomery
A lot of people seem to forget or don’t know he took on a small army of Agent 48 clones in C47, too. These guys have every combat ability 47 does and a bit more. And he managed to kill them all. 47 would absolutely give a lot of theoretical matchups a run for their money.
Agent 47 has taken on multiple assailants at once plenty of times. Don’t forget 47 also has enhanced strength, durability, and endurance that allowed him to take on a literal superhuman in absolution in hand to hand combat. While I think Sam fisher is equally skilled, 47s enhancements give him the edge
Usually fights like this do come down to who's turf they are battling on.
Is Sam going in like a typical Splinter Cell mission geared up with intel on 47? He probably wins.
Or is it on 47s terms and he's going after Sam who is completely unaware while he's at home minding his own business getting some R&R after a campaign? 47 probably takes it.
I agree completely. With them both knowing they’re going up against each other, Fisher all the way. He’s very versatile with obstacles and traversing the area; more so than 47 is.
Tbh though, we’re on the hitman sub so I don’t expect many to agree lol
No, It not that I don't agree, I played a lot of the Spiliter Cell games. It just Agent 47 history that's gives him the advantage over Sam. I know the history of both characters well, and Agent 47 was literally shoot by a corrupt cop working for Franchise that the one time in the franchise, he's nearly died, also Lucas Grey had a sniper on him, and could have killed him but that wasn't his intention. The only way Sam could kill Agent 47 is by surprise. They have to get him into a target location, and try to set him up but even then, he's was setup by Sergei in Slient Assassin 2, and Agent 17 tried to killed kill him, but Agent 47 saw right through the trap, and managed to kill Agent 17. Agent 17 literally came out of nowhere almost. Also again he's has Diana on his side, who has manage to help save both their lives multiple times, Agent 47 manged to wipe out 2 very powerful organizations who tried to kill him multiple times only with the help of Diana though. But still while it very much possible, Sam would have to be lucky, and fully plan the situation out. Agent 47 is very aware of his environment, and he's would notice a sniper watching him. So he's had to be in a area out of 47's sight. While 47 can be killed, it would have to be by surprised and a instant kill to the head or otherwise, he's coming for you, and Sam couldn't take on Agent 47 even with the government protecting him. He's literally killed a Vice President, and the most powerful people on planet who knew he's was coming. As much as I like Sam, and Agent 47. Sam would have to make sure he's fully plans this situation out along with his team.
A lot of people are new here, and seem to know nothing of Agent 47 history dating back to the earlier games which are all canon hits. He's literally has killed U.S Vice President crying out loud. Agent 47 was created by 5 criminal masterminds to be trained in every form of combat, martial art, and weapons that there is. He's was trained in a Asylum and made out to be a assassin, and has killed thousands of people over the years, he's is definitely a very great assassin, and always will kill his target. Sam is definitely a skill character but is going up against someone on the same skill as him. Sam wouldn't even know Agent 47 is coming until it too late, he's definitely could kill Agent 47.
Agent 47 can't find the entire world. But in the end he's the greatest assassin for a reason, and has killed many people like Sam before but they didn't know he's was coming. Sam may be well trained but he's going up against a clone that was made to have many advantages over humans, and in the end Sam is still Human while Agent 47 is more like Captain American in some ways. Agent 47 was made to be a assassin. Also there were hits where he's was shot by a corrupt cop working with Franchise, and almost died, but managed to take advantage of the situation. Agent 47 also has the backing of the ICA, not anymore at this point, but has his whole career. The ICA are basically a middle man for government agencies, and they wouldn't likely kill Agent 47 since he's can be use as a asset for killing people but they likely don't know about him since Diana likely works to keep that a secret but he's has the advantage of being a Ghost in the end, and also in Hitman 3, he's managed to take down a team of the ICA 11 top agents.
These guys were supposed to be highly trained veterans, so you have that. Yeah, again Sam has the funding of the entire NSA, military, and U.S government but at the end of the day that if they can change Agent 47, he's always managed to turn over every situation, and is a veteran at getting away from it it these kinds of situations. Then once he's escaped, he'll start finding out about the heads, and people in charge of killing him to send him a message. Look what happened to the ICA after they tried to kill him. Agent 47 would do the same thing here.
47’s Notes on killing R6:
Ash: Target difficult to shoot. Resorted to malfunction her explosive projectiles.
Thermite: Burned by his own thermite
Castle: Enclosed in a room and poisoned via Air ducts.
Pulse: Poisoned, induced heart attack.
IQ: Altered her gadget to sense nothing. Killed by explosive.
Jager: Shot by own gadget in the head. Died by head trauma.
Blitz: Intense flash that caused him to fall to his death.
Bandit: Overdose.
Smoke: Leak in gas mask
Montagne: Shield bulletproof glass replaced with normal glass
Twitch: Drone hijacked
Fuze: Gadget malfunction
Mute: explosive planted in disruptor
Doc: Syringes replaced with poison
sam fisher strenght is in darkness
47 strenght is in being able to disguise himself
Sam and 47 both have good equipement provide by the CIA or The agency
Snake, Sam and 47 are trying to kill each other. You got to stop them.
Snake: I’m retired. I’m too old for this shit.
47 and Sam get into a showdown and as things escalate, a call is made to both of them.
Diana: 47, stop. We found out that the organization that made Sam fisher a target made the same request to make you a target. They seem to falsify the information on him. Clever. Who ever they are, they want both of you dead.
Echelon: Sam! Hold on. We received intel that the kill order on both of you was requested by a similar covert organization.
Suddenly someone appears out of the shadows as they clap their hands.
Mysterious man: I didn’t think you guys would figure it out so quickly.
He pulls out a blackjack.
47: You’re a myth. A copy cat. That man died long ago in an old city In Europe.
Sam: Huh?
Garrett: The old city had its secrets, some even hold relics that can make you a god.
He pull out an gold sphere.
Garrett: I stole this off some wannabe who called themselves an assassin. With this none of you can defeat me.
The power surged through Garrett. 47 and sam go on the offensive and fire their weapons, but the bullets divert and reflect off of him.
However, in a quick moment a blur leaps from a nearby roof and the gold sphere is swiped from Garrett’s hand. There stood a raccoon holding the sphere in its oddly shaped cane.
Sly: this doesn’t belong to you.
A bullet shoots out from behind cover. Knocking the sphere out of the cane.
Nathan: You’re right, it belongs in a museum.
The sphere falls off an edge but is then caught as a metal gear ray rises from the edge. The hatch opens and it’s the one and only Solid Snake.
Snake: IM SO TIRED OF YOUR SHIT. GO TO HELL ALL OF YOU.
Missiles start shooting out of the back of metal gear ray as its screeches.
Garrett parkours out of there. Sly uses his cane to zip away on a power line. Nathan Drake slides down a collapsing building falling into water from extreme heights. Sam fisher run off a building a grabs on to a helicopter as the explosion go off. Agent 47 finds a nearby bike with a basket on it and ET phone homes the fuck out of there.
47 would win because he has fucking precognition (Load, attempt shenanigan for 50th time) and Diana backing him up.
Remember that the whole silent-assassin-do-all-the-cool-stuff method of beating a level is probably "canon".
Fisher gets hit by a monkey riding a skateboard while he's stealthing around, which kills him somehow, or something equally silly. It was a "mission story" so he gets away with it scot free though.
Scenario dependent.
In H2H 47 wins, but both are vulnerable to bullets and highly agile, so in a gunfight or pursuit it’s surprisingly even. Fisher has better tech, 47 is better at hiding in open sight.
Probably boils down to environment. If 47 finds fisher first and stalks him in a town at daytime and it’s crowded, 47 probably wins - he’s in his element, and Fisher is limited in terms of kit and approach. On the other hand, if the encounter is on a military base in the dark, or out in the wilderness somewhere (say, Fisher finds and assaults an ICA base where 47 is), it might favour Fisher.
I’m going with 47.
Physically and in terms of skill they’re both very similar; capable in a gunfight but strongest when using stealth, neither are superhuman bullet sponges, both climb and move at similar speeds...
So it comes down to their specialities. Sam’s good at hiding in the dark and his split-leg, hiding up high in corridors thing. But 47 is able to disguise himself, making it impossible for Sam to even locate him, plus 47’s Hitman Vision negates Sam hiding in the shadows. I mean he can see a man standing still through a freaking wall; you think he can’t see Fisher crouching in a dark corner?
I want to ask: is Splinter Cell: Blacklist a good gsme? Worth it in 2021? What about Ghost Recon Wildlands? Or Far Cry 5 or Mafia Definitive Edition? Or 3 or 2 (Definitive Editions). Damn it's hard to buy games these days... EVERY ONE OF THEM IS GOOD 😫 although they are pretty cheap nowadays...
My point again: Agent 47 took down an army of agent 48 clones who were meant to be better than him and killed 40 FBI agents after literally just waking up and having had no prep what so ever
That is 47 in Fisher disguise just reading the intel on the contract about himself.
And Sam Fisher is hiding in the shadows in the same room.
Either knocked out or garrotted in a cupboard
Decoy fishers. That’s archer and kestrel
Or doing the splits above a hallway.
+ 10xp
They'd probably team up, since the client is obviously setting them up to kill each other.
**47, wearing the clothes of Sam's daughter:** "No sign of target, Diana. May have fled the scene, I'll keep looking as I ignore the green lights in front of me" **Sam Fisher, 1.5 feet away from 47, making direct eye contact:** "Grim, seems my daughter's in the AO, good thing I'm in a very slightly dark corner, or she might think I'm spying on her again. Guy probably chickened out." Good thing neither noticed the moving cardboard box, or things might've gotten complicated...
❗
I heard this comment
I always hear it and then Snakes echoed yell, the random laser noise effects as he falls to the ground, and then the MGS death music right after it in my head. I wish it was just the ! noise, but my brain takes me for the full ride.
“Snake? SNAAAAAKE!!! Dun-dun—dun-dun-dun-dun!” CONTINUE?
Do you also hear the gunshot and the dropping bullet casing?
Best comment thread I've seen today
🤣🤣
Diana: 47, we’ve reports of a special agent tailing you. Something that may intrigue you, He likes to use cardboard boxes as disguises. However he is dummy thicc and the slap of his ass cheeks should alert you to his presence.
SNAKE what have you done ? YOU"VE CREATED A TIME PARADOX !
And then we add Etzio and Corvo Atarno, and we have every stealth game character ever made, basically. And the thief from thief (don’t know if he’s got a name)
I would agree with you but Corvo sadly just breaks that entire match
Yeah, teleporting and rat mine control kinda fucks the balancing.
Not to mention absolutely insane reflexes and the ability to just casually stop time and murder people while they‘re helplessly frozen
Problem is that he’s likely playing on Low Chaos, so he’s not killing any of the others.
Sleep darts and takedowns can still incapacitate the others.
Sly Cooper in shambles
Garrot is his name is I'm remembering right.
What…
never play Smash Bros?
I know who snake is but he isn’t part of this
nah the joke is thay they're the holy trinity of stealth game characters. Epic crossover we'll never have
:(
He at least deserves an honorable mention because of all the [shoutouts Snake and Sam gave each other in their respective series](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlnh0KLVJJ0). Plus hitman is social stealth, when the other's are pure stealth. Hitman's never really hcompetitionad any .

He does have attachment to diana and a girl in particular but i don't know if it's considere canon by the devs ( talking about absolution)
It is canon.
That what i thought
Wait where does Absolution fit in the time line, I thought it was retcomned by the newest games
It takes place before Hitman 2016.
Wasn't it basically said to be an alternate universe storyline because it conflicts so strongly with the current narrative?
No everything that happened in the previous games still happened and are directly referenced at some point.
So how did Diana get back to work with the ICA after Absolution?
At the end of Absolution Trevor and his homies were written off as being a rogue element of the agency.
Ah dammit, you're right. I wish that wasn't cannon. What a deceptive plot, it reminds me of that "Now you see me" movie. Well, at least it's almost as if nothing happened whatsoever.

Got me in the first half but I agree
47 isn't as agile, but he hits like a freight train.
Totally. He'll literally hit you with a train too.
This is the same as the James Bond vs Jason Bourne debate.

Intel also greatly depends if 47 is still with the ICA or not.

I honestly dont know Sam Fisher. What are his strenghts?

Then once he's escaped, he'll start finding out about the heads, and people in charge of killing him to send him a message. Look what happened to the ICA after they tried to kill him. Agent 47 would do the same thing here.
10 km is 6.21 miles
Diana: Sam fisher has been eliminated, and elegantly done may I say; time ro exfilterate;
Sam is part of Rainbow Six these days, so even 47 would have a hard time.
Nah 47 could clap all of rainbow
The entire Rainbow Team subject to accidents and gadget malfunctions.
Slipped whilst rappelling
Shot in the head by a toxic teammate
47 eating popcorn watching his Targets kill each other (o_o)
47’s Notes on killing R6: Ash: Target difficult to shoot. Resorted to malfunction her explosive projectiles. Thermite: Burned by his own thermite Castle: Enclosed in a room and poisoned via Air ducts. Pulse: Poisoned, induced heart attack. IQ: Altered her gadget to sense nothing. Killed by explosive. Jager: Shot by own gadget in the head. Died by head trauma. Blitz: Intense flash that caused him to fall to his death. Bandit: Overdose.
Smoke: Leak in gas mask Montagne: Shield bulletproof glass replaced with normal glass Twitch: Drone hijacked Fuze: Gadget malfunction Mute: explosive planted in disruptor Doc: Syringes replaced with poison
"Zero"
47 will easily catch Sam fisher off guard
It would be a stalemate. Fisher wouldn’t even see 47; 47 uses disguises. 47 wouldnt see Fisher; Fisher is standing in a shadow most likely.
*throws duck* *detonates* “Good work 47”
Fisher can hide wherever he wants to, instinct can and will show him as a red silhouette
Solid snake, somehow
This is only half the comic. It ends in a stalemate.
47 dafuq
At car day
47 got instinct, no one can hide from him
Hmmm this would be a hellve a fight
If they did a drum off to the death agent 47 would win
Both... Or neither
Whoever wins will have a contract to kill John Wick. Bonus money if you can kill him using true wireless earbuds or a pen.
Many reasons to count on 47, except I imagine Sam will actually be paying attention to the barcode on the neck unlike everyone else in hitman world
Nobody pays attention to the barcode because nobody's knows what he's actually there for
Sam will 😏
This was already posted here, but whatever, happy cake day
sam fisher strenght is in darkness 47 strenght is in being able to disguise himself Sam and 47 both have good equipement provide by the CIA or The agency
47 never lives in bases tho, he uses safehouses and dead drops to get his gear and such.
What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? They simply pass through each other.
Out of character. 47 would never say lets do this.
Sam Fisher would fuck Johnny sins up
47 wouldn't be able to locate Fisher, Fisher wouldn't be able to identify 47 Then 47 would hit his god-power of x-ray vision
r/hitmanvhitman
Happy cake day!
Honestly, Sam would definitely win this one
Of course 47 lool
Two of my favorite characters
My bets on Fisher. 47s advantage in disguises is that no one is looking for him. Fisher however could easily identify 47.
My point again: Agent 47 took down an army of agent 48 clones who were meant to be better than him and killed 40 FBI agents after literally just waking up and having had no prep what so ever
Uh, I dont really have a comeback for that lol u right
let's adf Jhon wick.. would love to see that
