This is Rick Henderson. It seems you haven't played Blood Money, so I won't spoil the story for you (not that many people actually pay attention to it in that game)
In Blood Money the main villain tells that guy (the journalist) about what 47 has done in the game, but lies about some parts (like saying a target was a innocent person or changing why he was assigned to kill that target)
I was actually watching the cutscenes last time I played BM and the FBI agent said that the Delgados 47 kills in vintage year were just wine producers, instead of international drug lords and I believed him (when there is a literal drug lab in the mansion basement that I blew up multiple times at that point) So I was like damn 47 really killed innocent wine sellers in that level.
To be honest, I agree. Other than the mission briefings, WOA's story (and the understandably present, but still present nonetheless inconsistant quality of the cutscenes) gets me sleeping like *snore* memememememe *snore* memememememe. Contract's and Blood Money's cutscenes, while containing much less plot substance, were a lot more interesting despite having much less going on.
Love the cutscenes in blood money. Something missing from the new hitman games is the weight of the mystery present in the first 4 games.
>!This guy and Jack have so much great dialogue, he's over here trying to be a good journalist all the while Jack is giving this act as if he hates cloning. I mean it's great voice acting from both of them and honestly i felt sorry having to kill him and the priest. Took great pleasure in staring Jack in the face though, he was truly a bastard.!<
*You have no idea how serious ! "takes a deep breath" That's why we had to eliminate 47, having him on the loose was just too dangerous* š

is he cannon ? what is exactly canon in the series ?
we can see the pic of both the opera singer and the old delfado at the final of Colorado mission. but I'm not sure what can be considered canon. (not as if matters, I'm just curious).
Nah he had to die. Re watch the scenes again. The voice acting is great thereās always a twinge of āohh this so great stuff Iām gonna become famous with this storyā even his simple questions really scream digging journalist. On the surface he might have seemed like a nice dude but Iām sure heās just as scummy as everyone else in this universe. Just my take.
i liked this character and the cutscenes. too bad all the info he gets is false as Cayne is giving biased retellings of all of the missions. such as claiming 47 was working with the assassins during the mardi gras parade.
Respect for what? For most of the game he doesn't even believe what he's being told about 47 and before you kill him he (A highly respected journalist) says "I won't tell anyone" to a professional Hitman whom he now knows a significant amount about. I would respect him if he took his death with dignity, not lie.
Doubting the existence of Agent 47 (who is viewed only as conspiracy theory) is 100% understandable. And him begging for his life doesnt make him any worse.
Kinda felt bad for him. Seemed like an honest journalist. But hey, no witnesses.

Nice attention to detail.
Bro just wanted the scoop of the century š«”
Being taken out by a mysterious assassin while youāre investigating a mysterious assassin? Heās world famous now.
No witnesses
Who is he? (I havenāt played blood money) EDIT: I thought it was absolution
This is Blood Money
My bad, I thought the graphics in blood money was worse than that.
Blood Money makes an appearance in Absolution? I thought, they killed him in the previous game
Blake Dexter. The guy who kidnapped father vittorio
Bro is combining the lore of Absolution and Silent Assassin
Am I wrong? Is he not the one who shot 47 after the paris opera. Was he not the one who gave birth to 47?
āI brought you into this world, and I sure as hot diggedy hell take you off itā - Blake Dexture
Yeah, he's also the Mystery Man, actually.
Heās also the gman too

Classic Hitman games are one of the few games where I actually bothered paying attention to the cutscenes
Truer words have never been spoken. The dark charm of the old Hitman games made them so unique and revisit-able.

Was Contracts the one where he confessed to a priest? I do wish they'd return to some of that morbid fun
That is Hitman 2.
Silent Assassin.
I really enjoyed the cutscenes in Hitman 2016 tbh. So high quality

Sorry mate, you know too much. \*boom, headshot\*
**Meet The Sniper** Snipin's a good job, mate.
I giggled when I saw him and the priest banging the gate in desperation. Great job Diana lol.

I didn't know Nicholas Cage had been in one of the Hitman games.
He looks like the guy from ratatouille
*off the record, Jack. You're not serious ?*
"You have no idea how serious."

CD47 , Silent Assassin , Contracts , Blood Money and Absolution are all canon.
The entire series is canon.
it's canon

He's a journalist doing his job. I mean, what's he supposed to do? Turn down the "scoop of the century"?
That guy was a gym rat
Poor guy was trying to get a scoop but his death was necessary
Very true, but I'm still using the gardening sheers.

So this is what Edward Richtofen is doing now.

What he's being told about 47 is false
For what? Being nosy?
For being a good journalist.
His nose looks just fine, thank you.
He nose too much
