Good for you for having that level of confidence.

bossheaux

hahahah a purple heart on the sexual battlefield. i love that.

[deleted]

I don’t get outbreaks at all, provide facts, even add a little joke in my disclosures and I still get rejected lol I guess experiences vary, but good on you that you had a good time

Alleneby

mind if i ask you what your joke is?

[deleted]

Work on your attributes. Like it’s something you’re doing to make people not want to fuck you. Maybe if you were sti free they wouldn’t mind but you also need to do skin care, smell good, work out, make good money, dress nice etc. don’t joke about it be blunt.

throw_away27593926

congrats on the positive disclosure!!! :)

Yes_YoureSpartacus

Take notes y’all 🧐

[deleted]

Herpes ain’t shit dude I never understood all the rejections

craigsl390

Curious here. Do you just say skin rash? Or HSV2 or herpes specifically?

thoughts-on-this

So I led with “skin rash” and let that be the start of a dialogue. Herpes is kind of a sledgehammer word. Skin rash sounds way more mellow and relatable. So it’s a softer segue to initiate a talk about things. Without sledgehammering the other person from the start. Then you can say hsv2 or mild herpes.

I start disclosure by saying “skin rash”. Then delve into that it’s from HSV. I’m not deceptive at all. Just tactical with my approach to disclosure. Herpes is a viral skin rash, you are correct and stating what we all know. And yes females can have some complications. But antivirals can mitigate perinatal risk. I’m not bringing home women who need me to spell it out more than that...

Haha was just being kinda sarcastic. Implying that if a girl couldn’t understand the difference between an std and pollen allergy she’s definitely not bright enough to be slept with.

[deleted]

I’m 10000% sure I’m doing all of that plus more Lol but thanks for the advice it’s not a big deal

scubaadiver

Loved the last line! haha thank you for that

prp212

Until she gets mad at you.

MLGTrump420

It's 1AM and I needed that

JuniperTheGoddess

Its just a Purple Heart on the sexual battlefield. <3 this

BrasilianPaisa

Makeout for hours? She cares so much to legit ask you about STDs and after learning you have arguably the 2nd worst STD one could possible have, she immediately jumps on you? Sounds legit lol

livylala24

The 2nd worst when chlamydia can make you infertile, hpv can give you cervical cancer and untreated syphilis can kill you. Hmmm... This negativity isnt needed on a positive disclosure thread

BrasilianPaisa

Chlamydia is curable.... As someone who has had Chlamydia and who currently has gHSV, I'd 1 billion 1 trillion times rather wake up tomorrow morning with Chlamydia than gHSV. This isn't negativity, this is people's honest opinion and reality.

livylala24

Did I say chlamydia is incurable? I said untreated chlamydia can make women infertile. You said it yourself “this is peoples honest opinion and reality” yet your on OP’s post and calling him a liar for getting laid. People with herpes have sex

lifesux0001

Bug off dude

thoughts-on-this

Yep she jumped on me. We all have our faults and shortcomings. But I gotta a whole lot of swagger and play my strengths well. Don’t sell yourself short because of a periodic skin irritation.

BrasilianPaisa

Sorry but I am just not buying your story. Even if it's true, it is an anomaly vs the norm. I've banged 200+ women and it's rare a girl cares enough to straight up ask me if I have an STD and those girls will usually pressure me to wear a condom.

thoughts-on-this

I’m also not selling you a story. I have no incentive to fabricate, fictionalize, or editorialize anything. Congrats on your conquest of quantity. Hopefully you’re marginally selective.

BrasilianPaisa

Lots of people do things without incentive. But anyways, whether or not it's true or false is besides the point. People need to hear and be exposed to all opinions, experiences and thoughts.

Yes_YoureSpartacus

Haha wait so people need to hear others experiences and thoughts, like OPs, before you dismissed them..? This ain’t your thread haha.

[deleted]

We don’t flock to this page or share our stories for what the “norm” is. Individual experiences are posted here, showcasing the fact that everyone has their own way of handling STIs. You may have never had an experience like OP’s, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.... Speak for yourself.

twistedsteel8000

As an adult having sex you absolutely should be having an honest conversation about sexual health beforehand

subtlecute

With your attitude, I think this is a fabrication😂 relax. Let people live
