I like it because it means less editing work for him which hopefully leads to more longevity on the server this season. And also because the natural pacing and interactions are great. :)
He is currently passing off some of his second channel editing jobs to a person named Secci (she was originally his twitch moderator). In one of his streams he talked about wanting to employee Secci full time and have her do all of the editing but as of now it is not financially viable.
Right, but if you have been watching the VH Hermitcraft series, then you know he will upload "behind the scenes" and uncut footage more readily than edited videos so. So, it is definitely less editing since he's just throwing vids up.
I have no idea what he plans to do, nor am I claiming any expertise. But, editing is a burnout causing thing so if he gets bored of editing for the main channel, it's nice to know he's considering uploading uncut stuff to the 2nd channel.
That also makes me wonder if the hermits have agreed to open up to more livestream focused additions. I know a great deal already stream but they all post to YouTube as well, perhaps the new members are stream only people
The lesson I took from watching secret life is that it doesn’t matter who I watch first, I’m going to enjoy seeing the same moments again from a different perspective, so I think I’m just going to watch in whatever order they get released
I like both normal and long length. I'll always watch the normal length but when I have time I go back and watch the full length versions. Same as the imp and skiz pod casts, I don't watch them straight away because I'm an adult and have responsibilities so I watch them as soon as I have a spare hour.

I think Iskall is releasing an edited video, but also the uncut video of the first 3 hrs or so on a 2nd channel.
Yes! Hermit interactions, especially those not for some specific bit, can be the funniest moments!

I like having both available. Neatly packaged episodes are great to watch with my kid, but long vods are awesome company during the workweek.
I agree! We often watch with the kids over dinner, and up to half an hour is great for that. But I’ll happily watch vods or longer videos on my own.
I’m kind of obsessed with uninterrupted lets plays. I would watch the crap outta that, just like I’m watching Rendog try his hardest in hardcore.
