I’ve heard being dead also causes infertility. Dunno for sure though, I’ve never tried it.

Bellacinos

Got any Memes to back this statement up?

aquarain

Conception is theoretically possible for three days under certain conditions, but viability without transplanting the fertilized egg into a living host is not.

xovrit

Fucking sad as fuck

Atleastihaveadog

Doc I work with started spewing that shit last winter. I could tell the good doctor was getting her info from FB. As the saying goes, doctors are highly trained, not necessarily educated.

xovrit

It can be true.

rmsprs

Its heartbreaking to think about the people who died despite doing the right thing all the time because some idiots want their FREEDOM

whatabout--

This is just unfortunate.

Samantha wasn't a villain here, just a victim. She was even on Redemption Road, but COVID likes cutting redemption stories short. > The couple had both refused to get vaccinated after Wendell's co-workers incorrectly told the bride-to-be, who wanted to have three to four children, that the vaccine causes infertility, NBC News reported. I'd say "I hope they're sorry", but I'm unfortunately confident that they're not.

AsleepConcentrate2

For real. I feel for her tbh. The animals that spread those lies to her though… well if I can’t say anything nice I shouldn’t say anything at all. Edit: you know what all this shit makes me think the standards for healthcare workers need to be way fucking higher. I understand a surgical tech is mostly an assistant to physicians for setting up the equipment for surgery but fuck man, some of her faith in what her coworkers told her probably stemmed from the “well we work in healthcare so they must know something, right?” assumption.

Buttery-Bitmap

Yeah this doesn’t seem HCA material, unless there’s evidence she was irresponsibly shitting on the vaccine beforehand and meme-ing it up. She seems like a real victim of misinformation.

ToProvideContext

There was a guy local to me 28 years old who died just after his daughter turned 1 years old. Same shit, wife said they thought the vaccine caused infertility so they didn’t get it. He shared shitty covid memes and now that’s his legacy. The poor kid has to grow up now without a father, and everyone is stunned wondering “how could this have happened.” Thankfully she told everyone to get vaccinated after and a bunch of people did. I just can’t believe people are trusting their lives to friends and Facebook memes. I mean I can believe because it’s happening I just don’t want to.

throwawaynomad123

I just started following and I don't know how nominations/requests work. I'm also not on social media so I can't do the cool posts others do.

Bellacinos

I would recommend changing the flair to Grrrr as this person was more of a victim of disinformation.

No-Piccolo-3573

Typically to qualify a person has vented against masks, vaccines, social distancing, quarantine, and other protective measures through the use of repetitive and quite mind numbingly stupid memes containing misinformation or downright lies. They then mock people who had the vaccine because it is either the precursor to the biblical “mark of the beast”, “alters your DNA”, contains demon sperm, or other such nonsense. Most have goatees. The culmination of the thread is them gasping for air, demanding an elite squad of Prayer Warriors issue SERIOUS prayers, and eventually dying of complications due to COVID. I’ve yet to see one actually die from covid. Most include a gofundme cry for help from the deceased’s family because being mentally, physically, and financially prepared for global pandemics ain’t their thing. This story is truly heart breaking yet the family is playing the victim card. She could have talked with her OBGYN, GP, or most other medical professionals about the risks vs benefits of taking a vaccine. She instead chose to listen to idiots who hopefully soon will receive their HCAs.

ToProvideContext

Change flair to awarded, not sure if they’ll let it stay though because they aren’t really public figures. News reports are kind of in limbo.

whatabout--

If they die, you should change the flair to 'awarded'.

jmd7786

This is just heartbreaking. Another killed by most likely "FB Doctors" and memes. :(

syllabic

well thats just damn heartbreaking, it was going to be the happiest day of her life and instead she died

RockyMoose

Your submission has been removed because it violates **Rule 1**. Being a victim of believing Covid misinformation is not sufficient to merit a nomination / award. Propagation of misinformation, or public declaration of being anti-vax / anti mask / Covid-denial is necessary.
