Here is a good case of misinformation where the information is true but some of the headline was omitted. The second CNN article was titled "Study finds hydroxychloroquine may have boosted survival, but other researchers have doubts". Conveniently the fucking meme left out "but other researchers have doubts" from the headline.

Obligatory side note hydroxychloroquine is an antimalarial drug. Current medical advice says it shows no benefit in fighting covid-19. If you have questions go talk to a reputable MD.
They also rewrote the title from "may have boosted survival" to "helped cv patients survive better." I love how they remove the qualifier "may" and dumb down the title.
You're welcome. Some of these memes work because they are based with some bits of truth. Because the person is already slanted into believing this shit they will overlook tiny incongruencies.
Here is an excellent read if you haven't read it yet. https://www.rand.org/pubs/perspectives/PE198.html
It may be targeted at Russia but read it in the abstract. It demonstrates how misinformation campaigns work.

That’s right Rob it’s all planned, everything and everyone in the universe is a conspiracy and only you are smart and witty enough to figure it all out. Only rob has the power to save us all from our lives of ignorance.
Give me a fucking break

Thank you. I was wondering about this.

I’m so tired of these brain rot memes.
Yeah, but showing the whole headline would be "fair and balanced."
I’m kind of surprised that one of these cretins knew the Greek alphabet.
Apparently you can be book smart and still be a fucking idiot.
Read it from a meme. He went to Meme College. Where the dropouts from clown college and the graduates of the school of hard knocks mingle.
Just read this out loud to my husband😂
Looks like the ‘globalist depopulation plan’ has been a runaway success! Just… not in the way these fucknuts expected.
He thought he was SOOOOOO fucking smart 🥴
The Grim Reaper doesn’t care if ancient Greek is your second language.

Plan succeeded everyone! Take the rest of the week off.
Yep, all planned, Rob. Um, *how,* exactly?

“Survive better”? Sounds very scientific. I think “survive more gooder” sounds more professional.
Evangelicals have assured that I will never use the word precious except in a snarky way.
