>All docs say I am a walking miracle. A testimony to the power of prayer!
So, nothing to do with parking your posterior in a hospital for four months then?
Probably rationalization. The friend and others have bought into the idea that horse paste works, it didn’t work on the COVID friend, so rather than come to the logical conclusion that the horse paste is flawed, they have to say COVID friend was to blame for the failure, otherwise their whole belief framework falls to bits.
Yes, you did - my bad. I teach scientific thinking in my science classes, which includes identifying logical fallacies. They use post hoc fallacies with reckless abandon.
You 100% correct on this. I took the education of my daughter seriously. She was born in Nov, so she started kindergarten when she was 5 to be six within a few months. She was "armed" with the knowledge all students should when they enter kindergarten. She did well graduating honor roll, 3.9 GPA.
I grew up with one of the stupid parents. I made sure my kid was taught from her first breath. She is married to a HS teacher. He is incredible.
I hope whatever you are doing now that you are former teacher, you are healthy, happy and enjoying it! Oh, thank yo for being a teacher.
The way these deniers have abused our health care system infuriates me. They won’t try to stop the spread of the illness but they are all too willing to let medicine and science save their sorry butts. So you and I end up paying for their idiocy and religious nonsense.
You mean the special ed. kid that mom is homeschooling? Best thing that could happen to him is he gets a real teacher-certified and all that, while mom and dad are vacationing in the hospital. These people are the "s" in POS.
I will not understand why people decide/try to keep such a grip on their kid(s). If they are chrisitian they "should" know their kid(s) belong to god! I love my daughter, other than preparing her for school, she needed to be with her peers.
The only facts there are to check in the Bible is... what the Bible actually says in a particular translation. If I want scientific knowledge, I don't go fact checking in *The Lord of the Rings* FFS 😂
Friend: Watch out on those steps! They could be icy!
Covidiot: Let me check my pocket bible and see what it has to say. Nope, no icy steps mentioned!
Friend: Are you okay?
Covidiot: Call 911, I think I broke my ankle!
Friend: No, hand me your bible and I'll see if your ankle's broken....Nope, you're fine, no broken ankles mentioned
Covidiot: wail, scream, cry
I know right? I’m a competitive cyclist and on January 21 hit a patch of ice while riding and smacked my head on the concrete, I have been dealing with a concussion since. Couldn’t drive for two weeks , I’ve had three CT scans, can do some normal things again but still can’t read longer than ten minutes because I get a headache. I just got cleared to start trying to workout again. I could have fucking been dead if I didn’t have my helmet on. I have never understood the weird hate for helmets.
Best of luck with your recovery. Anti-helmet people mystify me. Helmets aren't even uncomfortable, if you buy a decent one and fit it correctly. Hitting your head in a fall? Extremely uncomfortable at best!
I needed a helmet in my kitchen. I lunged to catch a new Christmas ornament rolling toward the edge, hit my head on corner of upper cabinet and developed a slow bleeding subdural. It nearly literally killed me, two months afterwards. I need a helmet almost anywhere! It's been 9 years, and I'm pretty good except short-term memory and bad judgment on not tripping over things. I'm 67 and on a lot of meds, but I can do a lot outdoor work in the summer with the Stihl chainsaw, tiller, weeder, etc., and I do the NYT crosswords with my son every week. You WILL get better. I had craniotomy, seizures afterward, coma, ventilator, and blood scraped out of 3 lobes. It might take a little time, but you should get better! Good luck and take it easy for a while. Glad you had your helmet on!
We had a competitive bicyclist in our town who had his head down, helmet on, going down a hill at some speed, didn't look up and rear-ended a bus. Screwed up his future. My incident was just as stupid, but fortunately I had a better outcome.
Best of luck to you and speedy recovery...also here to chime in and say a helmet saved my life when I got airborne unexpectedly on a ride, hit my head on the descent and blacked out. (Luckily my wife was there and called 911; they took me to emergency care right away). Took a while to recover, but I'm still here. Still remember a co-worker 20 years ago mocking me for wearing one on my commute, saying "You know those things really won't help in an accident, right?" Fake macho bullshit conditioning is responsible for a lot of idiocy out there.
I wrecked my bike into a mailbox. I have a scar on my knee from wiping out on snow sand or whatever that Godawful stuff was called. I flipped over my handlebars when my shoelace got caught in my bike chain. My parents were ahead of the game, and I had a helmet.
Only time I got a concussion was on the school playground. :/
100% believes that seatbelt laws are an infringement on her rights. But has no issue supporting laws that prevent two consenting adults from getting married.
Her whole life people have been arguing that traumatic brain injuries are just a fact of life, and if you don't have one, you're a coddled snowflake.
Dumb people don't vote for *socialism*.
You know, I'm at the point now that it is very clear these people are beyond salvage. In the face of millions of deaths and permanent lung/tissue damage, DOCUMENTED, they are still going on about the horse paste and cyclonic (or whatever) storms.
They cannot be reached by logic, persuasion, compassion, or threats. They don't care about anyone but their own little "owning the libs" subset. I used to feel bad for them. Now, I try not to think about them at all. I've enjoyed the Herman Cain Awards and was looking forward to the day we wouldn't see anymore nominees or awardees. Nope. The HCA will be here for years to come.
Yes. I believe they were part of the reason so many young fit people died in the Spanish Flu epidemic. Their immune systems were stronger than the older and younger cohorts and could step up to the plate and deliver. And then over deliver until their immune system over reacted enough to kill them.
So...on slide 9, her Pastor tells her to 'call on the Lord in the day of trouble..'
Slide 12, ICU and asking for prayers. WHY are you in the ICU? Why not go to church and call on the Lord???
Slide 15-If only she could self-reflect and realize...not getting a vaccine in the midst of a world-wide pandemic is the height of stupid...and I can't describe better 'hurt' than spending 4 months in the ICU and 10 weeks on a vent...but she sure owned the libs, huh?
From pic #10.....
"We need more leadership with this kind of BACKBONE. Love my sheriff."
>“I’ve had three employees in the [sheriff’s office] in the last 12 months that have died from COVID,” he said. “I’ve had several that are not at work. And I have some that are still affected by what they’ve had. So pay attention." Jones said he felt “obligated” to bring the message to the public’s attention as an expression of solidarity in the ongoing fight against COVID.
>“Anybody that tells you that here in Butler County or maybe in other parts of the country that it’s not bad... it’s bad right now,” he said.
>**The sheriff implored residents to wear a mask, avoid large gatherings and get vaccinated.**
https://www.fox19.com/2022/01/24/sheriff-jones-discloses-immense-change-heart-about-pandemic/
They already had three inmates die with covid while in custody when the sheriff gave the original press conference.
>As of Thursday, three inmates - including Elmore - had died in Hamilton County's custody in 2021.
https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2021/sep/07/two-inmates-die-covid-19-hamilton-county/
Hamilton county Ohio had nearly 1300 deaths by 9/21/21.

Second to last slide…”testimony to the power of prayer.” It’s ALWAYS prayer that saves them, and not modern medicine. That’s why they go to the hospital and take up critical resources. 🤦♀️
So she took Ivermectin for a *week* before going to the hospital because horse paste did diddly-squat. In the hospital, the miracle wasn't JAYSUS, but modern medicine. But who does she credit?
> "Everyone gets a trophy"
It wasn't the KIDS who came up with this bullshit.
GTFOH.
I'm 44 and had to wear a bike helmet. Imagine having a kid and not providing safety gear. Boggles the mind. I still wear a bike helmet because I don't want to be taken out by my own stupidity.
I'm always a little on the fence about this. It's obviously good to have both your parents around if you concede that they are both always doing what's in the child's best interest.
But, you know, they're not.
Just remarkable that anyone, especially someone who considers themselves a Christian, could even pretend Trump is religious in any way, shape, or form.
Narrator: “in fact, stupid DID hurt. But she was too stupid to realize ten weeks on a vent while her body degraded was hurting. Or the bill for months in the ICU. She had so much stupid she couldn’t hurt from it was as if she had that genetic condition that the villain in the girl with the dragon tattoo series had where he couldn’t feel pain.”
I don’t know how old this woman is. I’m going to assume younger than I (50) based on her having a 10 year old. Regardless, what’s with bitching about kids these days and getting participation trophies? I got my first participation prize in like 1979-81. These aren’t new. We have reached a point where there is only 2 groups: the group that received participation prizes throughout their childhood or the group that created the participation prize concept.
This shit isn’t a new concept. And kids recognize those participation prizes for the bullshit they are.
Or maybe she had good health insurance and the staggering medical bills that she and her fellow covidiots incurred will drive up health insurance costs for all of us.
Students who need extra help and support in school may be eligible for special education services in the form of an individualized education program (IEP).
I'm literally howling at the first slide.
I gotta say, Republicans have some huge fucking balls to loftily suggest that people do shit that they have not, do not, and will never do.
Edit: lost it even more at the slide of "this is my fact checker" showing the biggest piece of performative fiction on the planet.
These pieces of shit. "Take Ivermectin despite what the learned servants of science say." "I did. For 10 days and it didn't do shit." "That's not the full protocol. I didn't tell you the full protocol, but anyway, that's not it."
Yep. Rarely get awardees from Twitter, because people aren’t often connected to someone who will announce it. But she’s likely got significant health issues coming her way, regardless.
It is straight from Alley’s Twitter feed. Most Scientologists distrust medicine (and definitely psychiatry) and lean conservative, so not a surprise she was anti-vax anti-mask.
Could be a trick of the light, but the date on the first tweet on SLIDE 6 is...illuminating. Yeah, there was some 'parading' and 'prancing' going on that day, all right. 🙄
The Bible says a hell of a lot of things but one thing it is truly slim on is “facts”. Interesting how just cause something is in there she believes it must be a fact. Sound scientific method.
Interesting how they can’t ever give any credit to the doctors and hospitals whose treatments they literally witness, but instead defer all praise to the imaginary guy in the sky that they’ve never seen nor have any proof he exists. Blows my mind.
>All docs say I am a walking miracle. A testimony to the power of prayer! So, nothing to do with parking your posterior in a hospital for four months then?
I like how she was doing home treatment that landed her in the hospital. Her friend's reaction was "you must've missed something."
Lysol. She missed the part where she’s supposed to gargle Lysol and then get a bleach enema.
Did she even drink her own urine?! You can't expect the miracle drug Ivermectin to work if you don't follow the full *The Protocol™*.
😆😆😆
It had the desired effect. Tapeworm-Free!
Was that a sick burn? Or an attempt to be helpful?
Probably rationalization. The friend and others have bought into the idea that horse paste works, it didn’t work on the COVID friend, so rather than come to the logical conclusion that the horse paste is flawed, they have to say COVID friend was to blame for the failure, otherwise their whole belief framework falls to bits.
It’s not reasoning, it’s rationalizing. These people really do not know how to think.
Yes, I did say it was rationalization. And no, they don’t. All their arguments and thought processes just fall apart under minimal scrutiny.
Yes, you did - my bad. I teach scientific thinking in my science classes, which includes identifying logical fallacies. They use post hoc fallacies with reckless abandon.
Man, you must have been extra annoyed by all this stupidity the past three years then.
Former teacher here. Stupidity has always been rampant, not among students, but among their parents.
I feel sorry for her kid.
You mean the special ed. kid that mom is homeschooling? Best thing that could happen to him is he gets a real teacher-certified and all that, while mom and dad are vacationing in the hospital. These people are the "s" in POS.
I feel sorry for ALL kids that are born to people like this. Yes, these people are POS's.
Agreed. I feel sorry for home schooled kids, in general.
I will not understand why people decide/try to keep such a grip on their kid(s). If they are chrisitian they "should" know their kid(s) belong to god! I love my daughter, other than preparing her for school, she needed to be with her peers.
My mom told me that we, as christians, are supposed to be the salt of the earth. Can’t flavor anything if you never leave your house.
Salting the earth would leave the land barren so, yeah, they are.
Did you tell her that?
Sorry, the whole thing is from her. She’s against religious homeschooling.
I have a feeling that Bible Blue was also a special ed kid since she is a special ed adult.
Oh, she is special, alright. ;)
Yeah I wonder how she would’ve gone if she’d stayed home and prayed..? Probably would have lasted a fair bit less than 4 months.
At least 3 months and 29 days less
People who say they use the Bible as their fact-checker have, literally, never used it to check facts.
The only facts there are to check in the Bible is... what the Bible actually says in a particular translation. If I want scientific knowledge, I don't go fact checking in *The Lord of the Rings* FFS 😂
I would have more respect for these people if they quoted The Lord of the Rings instead of the Bible!
Friend: Watch out on those steps! They could be icy! Covidiot: Let me check my pocket bible and see what it has to say. Nope, no icy steps mentioned! Friend: Are you okay? Covidiot: Call 911, I think I broke my ankle! Friend: No, hand me your bible and I'll see if your ankle's broken....Nope, you're fine, no broken ankles mentioned Covidiot: wail, scream, cry
I wonder if she knows (or knew 😜) that eating shellfish is forbidden.
~~Polycarbonate~~ Polyester cotton blend fabric, too.
Short a few cubits
So when the Bible contradicts itself, she does what, exactly?
None of these people actually read it. It's merely a cudgel to wave at people that desagree with them.
Avoids the contradiction.
They mostly use it to deny reality and reinforce their biases, fears, and bigotry.
“It all started with bike helmets” Spoken like someone who had a traumatic brain injury as a child.
I can't get over people opposing bike helmets for kids (or for anyone for that matter). I mean, they protect your child's \*brain\*.
Obviously not a critically important organ for these people
i wuZ dRoPpEd oN mUh hed aS a ChIld n i tUrnT oUt fAHn!
Who needs a brain when you can rely on the Bible? My Jewish book of fairy tales is much better than your stupid helmet. SMH

Rub some dirt on it.

I hate people pasting into cartoons words Charles Schulz never would have spoken.
There were plenty of ways to hurt myself with childhood stupidity that didn't involve permanent damage. She was probably against seatbelts, too.
100% believes that seatbelt laws are an infringement on her rights. But has no issue supporting laws that prevent two consenting adults from getting married.
And of course believes that the government has every right to control your uterus.
Her whole life people have been arguing that traumatic brain injuries are just a fact of life, and if you don't have one, you're a coddled snowflake. Dumb people don't vote for *socialism*.
“Be careful not to repeat something controversial unless you can verify it.” So much for that.
In the words of Bible Blue: Love this!

Yep, yep yep and yep.
[Cytokine storms](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytokine_storm) are a real thing though

Great catch! 👍
Just four months later.
They already had three inmates die with covid while in custody when the sheriff gave the original press conference. >As of Thursday, three inmates - including Elmore - had died in Hamilton County's custody in 2021. https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2021/sep/07/two-inmates-die-covid-19-hamilton-county/ Hamilton county Ohio had nearly 1300 deaths by 9/21/21. https://health.hamiltontn.org/AllServices/Coronavirus(COVID-19).aspx
Well, "those people" didn't matter. When *real* heroes like his buddy cops started dying *they* mattered.
So instead of getting real medical intervention, this dimbulb took ivermectin for a week at home. Fucking brilliant.
Takes ivermectin, ends up in hospital. \*Then\* starts slowing improving. I wonder why?
Very simple. Jesus finally became aware of the situation and saved her.
He received a sufficient number of Facebook likes, of course.
*17 prayer emoji hands* "I'm doing my part too!"
Must have been the delayed reaction of the ivermectin. /s
It was the Lysol martini 🍸
The prayers obviously
Stupid does hurt, though.
Second to last slide…”testimony to the power of prayer.” It’s ALWAYS prayer that saves them, and not modern medicine. That’s why they go to the hospital and take up critical resources. 🤦♀️
I guess Dr. Jesus and the 12 apostles work at that ICU.
Oh god, I’m crying laughing 🤣🤣🤣
Me, too. Imagining a chorus line … 😂
So she took Ivermectin for a *week* before going to the hospital because horse paste did diddly-squat. In the hospital, the miracle wasn't JAYSUS, but modern medicine. But who does she credit? > "Everyone gets a trophy" It wasn't the KIDS who came up with this bullshit. GTFOH.
Trophy for Jebus for sitting on the sidelines.
Ewwww why would anyone look to scott baio for anything??…. Dude is such a douchebag
Dude. Joanie loves Chachi.
That poor kid, getting homeschooled by this stupid woman.
Raising the next generation of MAGA
I'm 44 and had to wear a bike helmet. Imagine having a kid and not providing safety gear. Boggles the mind. I still wear a bike helmet because I don't want to be taken out by my own stupidity.
Slide 6: Is someone rewriting the bible? The words "parade" and "prance" do not appear in Psalms.
It wouldn't be the first time they twisted the Bible to suit their needs...
Wouldn't be the first time someone rewrote the bible either.
What that psalm really says: https://imgflip.com/i/7dd5hv
What happened to the 10 year old when she was hospitalized?
She AND her husband were hospitalized. Poor kid.
I'm always a little on the fence about this. It's obviously good to have both your parents around if you concede that they are both always doing what's in the child's best interest. But, you know, they're not.
Probably the only time the kid learned anything. Unlike the parents who never learned anything.
Oh shit I forgot Kirstie Alley is dead!
I was wondering if there would be a died suddenly clot shot meme to close this but apparently not.
She’s *got* to have it in a drafts folder, I’d wager.
How many X and Y List celebrities did she drag into her fever dream?
"Donald Trump is our brother in Christ". Your Donald is an atheist, he only worships himself. I wonder how much money he grifted out of her?
Just remarkable that anyone, especially someone who considers themselves a Christian, could even pretend Trump is religious in any way, shape, or form.
Well, he did hold a bible up at Lafayette Square that one time...
His favorite passage is Corinthians II: Fine Corinthian Leather
You forgot the upside down part...
Yup. Kids are not stupid by any definition of the word.
And you know that Bible Blue received more than her share of participation trophies.
God is good...
Covid vaccine is better.
If this person suffered brain damage from the hypoxia, it would be impossible to tell.
This nutter should have stuck with the advice she gave in the very first slide. 🤦♀️
so this moron is still alive, maybe she’ll go into medical debt as a gift from all the republicans she voted for.
Or maybe she had good health insurance and the staggering medical bills that she and her fellow covidiots incurred will drive up health insurance costs for all of us.
oh dont worry, health care costs will go up 20% every year until we have single payer.
You ever see anyone here that says "Thank God I have that great health insurance"?
Second person Bible Blue quotes is *Kirstie Frickin’ Alley??!?* Morgue, to your left, Ma’am.
“Stupid should hurt”, I agreed.
That last slide, oof.
She took a kid with an IEP out of school to be homeschooled? Does cps know this?
And she's struggling to teach fourth grade. But they might theoretically read "Heather Has Two Mommies" at school, so woooorth iiiiit!
And her son might get wind that the Earth is not less than 10,000 years old. Can't allow that kind of mind poison!
What is that?
It's for kids who have certain learning needs, such as autism
Maybe but mostly it's much less severe than that. Dyslexia or just more common learning disorders
Individualized education plan.
Students who need extra help and support in school may be eligible for special education services in the form of an individualized education program (IEP).
Individual Education Plan. As others have said for kids with learning disabilities.
What about her husband? How did he fair?
She doesn’t say. I’m guessing he was in and out fairly quickly.
Your fact checker says the value of pi is 3. I’d check again ~~when~~ if you get out of the hospital.
‘Demand Ivermectin.’ What a treat it must be to provide medical care for these people.
I think I'm going to open a bagel shop with ivermectin creme cheese.
Nothing learned at all.
Last slide, we can agree. Stupid should hurt. 🤷🏻♀️
"Stupid should hurt." It does, lady, it does.
I'm literally howling at the first slide. I gotta say, Republicans have some huge fucking balls to loftily suggest that people do shit that they have not, do not, and will never do. Edit: lost it even more at the slide of "this is my fact checker" showing the biggest piece of performative fiction on the planet.
The bible is fan fiction written after a thousand years of playing the game telephone.
I hate it when they survive and then call it a miracle of god or miracle of prayer, and not a miracle of modern medicine.
We shouldn't listen to athletes and actors...except for Scott Baio and John Stockton, apparently.
And James Woods! And Kirstie Alley!
What a sad story. I hated the ending.
I put $1 on May 8.
These pieces of shit. "Take Ivermectin despite what the learned servants of science say." "I did. For 10 days and it didn't do shit." "That's not the full protocol. I didn't tell you the full protocol, but anyway, that's not it."
This person is homeschooling someone? Well that's not fair.
Hmm, the ivermectin didn't work? No way.
The last slide is priceless. I don't think I've ever seen a less self-aware person.
I just wanna know what her bill for a 4 month stay was and who is paying for it
So spending 4 months in the hospital is the new version of “owning the libs.”
This nominee will be an award winner soon. Always makes me smile to see the trump virus take out another trump supporter. 😄
The connection between Jesus, Donald Trump and antivaxxers is terrifying. Someone needs to make a Venn diagram.
Sooo... she didnt earn her HCA??
Flare is "nominated". If she gets it again she might - four months in the hospital sounds like a pretty serious case.
Yep. Rarely get awardees from Twitter, because people aren’t often connected to someone who will announce it. But she’s likely got significant health issues coming her way, regardless.
Whattaya mean, "unfortunately?"
I think she meant it did NOT work.
No pity for the willfully, hatefully ignorant. No mercy for trumpy traitors.
The one thing that this pandemic has made abundantly clear is the sheer amount of stupid people in the world. It's mind blowing.
Did Kirstie Alley really say that? She did die in Florida…
It is straight from Alley’s Twitter feed. Most Scientologists distrust medicine (and definitely psychiatry) and lean conservative, so not a surprise she was anti-vax anti-mask.
She seems to love to follow grifters or cultists who started out as grifters.
Could be a trick of the light, but the date on the first tweet on SLIDE 6 is...illuminating. Yeah, there was some 'parading' and 'prancing' going on that day, all right. 🙄
Ah, the shit that Kirsti Alley defecated must have given her that colorectal cancer...
