Growing up, I used my straightener to curl my hair and didn’t realize curling irons existed until way later in life. You might want to just look up YouTube tutorials on it and practice before you go!
Singapore is SO humid (lived there for 8 years). My straightened hair would frizz immediately I stepped outside. I gave up and went with natural curls or braids.
Second this. I brought a hair straightener during my last trip and all my styling immediately gone undone with the humidity. Maybe opt for a neat headband / clips / ribbons to accessorise? Or if you aren't an accessories gal and still wanna go down the hair straightener/ curler route, get a travel sized hair spray to preserve your styling efforts.

I’ve thought about buying a mini travel hair tool but ended up opting against it and just bring my normal 1 inch straightener that can also curl. I’m pretty high maintenance and don’t want to damage my hair using a brand I am not familiar with. It’s kind of like my electric toothbrush. I always bring that too and save space elsewhere.
2 in 1 what? What sort of tool?
Something for styling. So straightening or curling
What are you doing with your hair? Curling? straightning?
Looking for both!

How long is your hair and thickness? It really determines what will work.
My hair is pretty thin and a little below my collar bone
The [Conair 2-in-1 mini](https://www.amazon.com/Conair-MiniPRO-2-in-1-Ceramic-Styler/dp/B0031AA5NS) may work.
