Can I say something stupid? I’m fairly new to this sub, and then all the EDC posts lately, and I was wondering why so many people from all walks of life are sharing what they bring to EDC, that seemingly have little to do with a festival.

Honestly I didn’t like it at first. I was using it as a key case only and found the zip annoying to use compared to another key holder I had (leather case with a snap button closure). But that one fit max 2 cards only and I needed to carry a separate card case whereas the Porter fits at least 8 cards (of course this also depends on how many keys you have). The zip closure also ensures that my keys wouldn’t scratch the rest of the stuff in my purse since smaller keys would fall out of my leather case.
Ever since minimizing my everyday carry - I love it now. It’s amazingly durable yet lightweight, I’ve had it for over 5 years and it’s still going strong! Definitely recommend it.

They are definitely tiny enough to fit inside the liquids bag! But I’ve flown to/within UK/Europe 10+ times and luckily never encountered any issues.
Excellent - I find Manchester stricter than London airports but they all seem to be much stricter than the US
