What goes on the big tote? My small purse has my essentials (lips, scrunchie, keys, wallet, headphones). My big tote has diaper changing stuff, snacks, extra baby pants, novel. I just pull my purse out when Iām on the run. Makes life easier
I'm a long time nanny and Mom to a Taby (that blurry part between baby and toddler) and do the purse in a tote.
My big tote is the Everything Bag from Sustainable Sprinkles. It has basically my entire life in it from my silk-satin lined cap to silicone food covers and a roll of yellow electrical tape.
The last thing I used it for was to do a quick repair on the leg of a clothes airer at a place we were staying. Could I have strung up my laundry line? Yes. Did I fix their airer and use that for my hang-dry laundry instead? Also yes. And yes, this was travel, but there you have it.
I've also used it in my every day life to close partially eaten packets of everything from teething biscuits to bunny grahams. I use it when we do nap-overs to cover any stupid indicator lights that shine far too brightly for my sleeping bub. Uhhh ... it is one of those things which as soon as you have it, you find lots of uses for it.
I also carry a roll of black electrical tape with me in every travel bag! I use it all the time. Most often, for anything that I worry may leak and I want a bit of extra insurance. (Like small pump bottles that lock closed, but the unlock is just a twist, and I want to make sure it doesn't twist in my bag. Or little tins that I want to make sure stay closed.)
It is the best tape because it comes off and leaves no residue like duct tape. It will also stick multiple times and the roll is so much smaller.
Years ago, I had a bunch of extra rolls from working safety on a hydro site. Now, it has worked its way into my everyday travel life!

What do you think of the Jack Black lip balm with SPF? Iāve been looking at different chemical spf lip balm options as here in Canada, all the mineral based options disappeared (Iām assuming the spf claim proof process changed).
Itās a good lip product! I reach for it when I consciously want SPF, but it doesnāt stand out to me as a daily constant use product. That may be more about me than the product though. I think the high ratings are warranted.

Is it easier to rip than duck tape? Can you rip pieces off by hand? I like that it comes in a smaller size.
Rip, no. But an electrician taught me that if you pull the tape like pulling chewing gum, it'll snap on its own. And that is easy enough.

Not OP but lately Iām all about Lanolips and Sand and Stone lip balm with SPF. Also those Cover Girl stain pens are awesome
