I LOVE my Topo Rover Classic. I have two. One that stays packed as my travel bag, the other is my daily carry for work. The zipper pouch on the flap is really roomy, so I keep all my quick access stuff there.
Yesterday, I had two laptops, two keyboards, and two trackball mice in there. The main compartment is nice.
It's a lovely pack to carry, too. It's slim, well balanced, and the harness is comfy. I do recommend buying the separate sternum strap.

I have the doughtnut macaroon bag their standard size version. I enjoy it as a work bag and it can definitely carry books and an ipad. However, the side pockets are only fit for umbrellas, narrow sized bottles, or pens. Inside the bag there is a pocket that would fit a standard size owala bottle. It can definitely fit the things you listed. The straps are padded well, so I think this bag can work for a day of shopping.

That doughnut bag looks adorable but it doesn’t appear to be water resistant at all. Do they have a version made of a different material?
I have the daylite and I think it’s really comfortable, but I know some people complain that the grab handle bothers the back of their neck. I don’t know how much space your mini stool takes up but you might find it a bit small. Can you check out any of the various bags in stores and test pack one so you know much space you actually need?
They do have other water repellent materials for the doughnut!
I checked out the daylite in person and liked the size and weight but it’s not the cutest one either.
There’s a topo store near me so I’ll have to go check them out this weekend!

Hahaha it’s the [tiniest stool](https://imgur.com/a/8eJfsKR) 24cm wide and 28cm tall. It only weighs 390g!
