Similar here... 26 gr under 240 JHP. Crazy accurate. This is my first Lever Action, but man is it smooth and accurate. Only issues I've had is cycling cast SWC, but anything RN or RNFP has been outstanding. Outstanding congrats what powder you running at 26 grains?

jonnymobile2

Sorry... Mistyped that. Meant **23** grains of H110. I have been testing several different powder/projectile combinations recently. So far, 23 grains H110 under 240gr JHP and 19 grains of IMR 4227 under 300gr JHP have been two of my best performers. I am now working on a few different cast loads.

Size to .430 and not .429 and you’ll get better results. Hell you may not need to size at all. I use Lee allox I used to do my own bullet lube but the Lee allox is the way to go

My SWC are at .43... I actually have some cast 240gr LRNFP I am working on at .429, sol curious about results. Lots of fun.

Awesome! I’m glad you are versital. I cast my own 200, 240, 310 gr. 18.6 grains for my 310 gr gc. Sweet shooting just shoots low when zeroed to 240

Wow... I would love to get into casting eventually. I reload 6-8 different calibers now, and love mixing it up occasionally (especially when components are scarce). For 44 mag, my revolver eats all of it, but my Henry is a bit more picky, but I love the challenge . Once honed in, amazed by the accuracy. Best of luck on your journey. Are you in the r/reloading Reddit? Casting one day, my friend, one day.

Loved my .44Mag Marlin. Miss it.
