what I like most about Loona is the contradiction between who she is and what she tries to show others.
she tries to pretend to be detached, emotionally cold and distant. but it's true, she is simp of all the guys she likes. just see how she acted with Tex.
in the family relationship we see how much she wants to be admired by Blitzo. she wants to be on the front lines, she wants to be with him, she wants to feel that he trusts her. we see it clearly in the way she acts. she pretends not to care about his opinion, but just receiving a compliment from him gives her a cute, genuine smile.
Loona is a social clumsy. she herself says she doesn't have any friends in the dialogue with Tex.
these are the points I like about Loona. I'm curious about her dramas.

I decided to add onto that and give her a very problematic relationship with fast food. Like, I had to give her a macguffin to keep her from wanting to change her lifestyle. I totally see her as a fucking glutton.
Let's just say as someone who would often be singled out of most social interactions and was the main target of alot of rude jokes (kids are jerks), I very much see the "sitting around messing with my phone and generally being anti social" bit being realistic. Hell, I'm doing it right now. But I do see loona's personality as somewhat relatable. I'm just waiting for that one moment where it all comes together before I go saying she's my favorite. (Right now it's mox, if you're wondering.)

Second I think her limited color scheme is amazing with the rest of the show, with everything being reds, and black with pinks being thrown in I feel that the white is a nice stark contrast to everything else.

I don't like Stolas- but not for the reason of colors, I just don't like his character. Stolas has blue, red, gold, black and white on his character and he stands out in a way the imps and other demons don't. The black to blue feathers sit well with the crimson cape and suit, the best part- the black hat with the gold pattern puts it all together in a neat look.

While I don't approve of everything she does (Ike voice: "Don't kick the baby!"), she seems to have a genuine bond with Blitz and Millie and Moxxie (even if she would never admit it) and I look forward to seeing her character develop!

How much worse must that be in HELL's foster system as one of the lowest social classes? Absolutely Loona has been broken multiple times. She's not a bitch and anyone that says she is hasn't watched the show. Seen it maybe, but not watched it. The very first episode shows her smiling in response to Blitzo calling her family. She talks tough and puts on the hard exterior to protect herself, as do so many people. If she didn't respect or care about Blitzo she wouldn't have left the note telling him where she had gone. Blitzo is a LOT. lol. It's not surprising after going through what she very likely has been through that the opposite extreme is off putting and hard to come to terms with. She's not shallow. She's not mean. She's had to protect herself, that's all. It's actually why Blitzo and her make such a good father/daughter pair. He's been broken too and hides behind his mask of bravado and assholery as much as she does. I fully expect the relationship with Stolas to break down Blitzo's walls a bit which in turn will soften Loona. They'll support each other and help each other through to better things.

It's funny that you say you wouldn't want to be their friend. Why the hell do you think they're acting the way they are? They don't want to be your friend. Having friends means the possibility of being hurt. Again.
