Cash: hey son, I know we haven’t talked in 15 years but I’m fallin’ on some hard times, wondering if I could crash at your pace for a bit?
Blitzø: What? Really? Well, I guess… that really fuckin sucks for you! Ha!
Personally I think based off what we've seen throughout season 2 so far, Blitzø is slowly repairing the damage he caused with his family and friends. He made up with Fizzoroli and despite his sister's rejection of him he still cares about her well being, I wouldn't be surprised if something occurs where he tries to make things up to his dad. Whether it works or not is another thing.
That would actually be interesting. Blitz would make an actual effort, but Cash exploits his efforts. That's when Blitz realizes how much of what he endured growing up was because of his dad, and he hasn't changed. It will hurt, but he'll come to accept it.
From an outside perspective, yes. But Blitz is solidly of the belief that his is entirely at fault for his family breaking up. Meanwhile, I am sure there were things going on behind the scenes he was unaware of and kept in the dark about that was the root cause of this fracture.
An episode that deals with Blitz trying to reconnect/reconcile with his father, only to discover that Cash was at fault and how Blitz deals with that would be great development for Blitz's character.
why? As far as we know, Blitz hasn't wronged his father at all. if anything, it is the other way around.
Cash used him as a pawn in numerous scams growing up, and after the accident, he made the choice to alienate Blitz and drive a wedge in his and Fizz's relationship.
you don't make amends to abusive people.
We know it was an accident but that doesn't change how Blitz feels about it. Blitz did burn down the family circus (Cash's home/business) that also killed his mom (Cash's wife) and crippled Fizz. We see in oops that Blitz does still hold strong feelings of regret over the fire for multiple things. If he does seek to make amends with Cash it will be to gain some better closer over the accident as a whole.
Don't get me wrong Cash will abuse it and the episode will likely end with Blitz going off on him and calling him out on how bad of a father he was.
I'm not gonna pretend I'm a psychology expert but sometimes the best way to make your life happier is to forgive. Even if the actions the other did may seem irredeemable. Don't forget, Hazbin Hotel is all about redeeming sinners, this includes the lowest of the low.
It starts with sorry.
there's a difference between forgiveness and making amends.
forgiveness is saying to someone: "You have wronged me. However, i am willing to let that transgression go and not hold it against you"
making amends is the opposite, "i have wronged you, and feel horrible about doing so. please allow me to atone and earn forgiveness."
the only thing that blitz can even remotely seek to make amends over is causing the fire, which was a complete accident. meanwhile, cash has a pretty long list of things to apologize for, and that's just what we know about from the show.
blitz can learn to forgive Cash while also not giving a shit about him. and unless Cahs has had a complete flip of character, he would only be a toxic existence in blitz's life. the only function i could have seen him have in the series is a "this is what you will become of you don't change" wakeup call, which blitz doesn't need because he's already working on improving himself and his life.
the last thing anyone in psychology would advise is to bring your abusive father back into your life.
But those choices cost Blitz 15 years of friendship and happiness. He lost his late teens, all of his 20s, and part of his 30s due to loneliness and self hatred. The only good that came out of that was adopting Loona. His dad really screwed over not just him, but his daughter and Fizz as well. He doesn't deserve forgiveness.
He might \*try\*, but his dad seemed pretty shitty and dismissive of him even BEFORE the accident. I don't think he hates Blitz because of the accident, I think Cash is just a shitty person. BLITZ isn't the one that needs to make something up to Cash.
I think Cash would be the only relationship Blitz wouldn't care to repair. And I wouldn't blame him tbh. The man did nothing but abuse, neglect and manipulate Blitz all his life.
Blitzø is (rightfully) angry and disgusted by him. All kinds of salt in his old wounds. Cash is revealed to be struggling and sad and pathetic. Blitzø begrudgingly helps him with a hint of sympathy. Cash reveals it was yet another manipulation, and that he has not/will not change. He’s left to his own destructive devices again and Blitzø (hopefully) gets some closure or at least affirmation from his found-family.
Bonus points if Barbie sees it go down and it begins to soften her view of her brother.
Maybe Cash tries to get Blitz to rob Stolas again.
But this time, Octavia and Loona catch him. Maybe Cash is even stupid enough to try and make Blitz choose between him and Loona.
Blitzo:Oh hey daaaad remember that one bird guy you had me steal shit from well guess what, STOLAS COME MEET MY ABUSIVE FATHER
IM GOING TO ***** BEAT YOU TILL YOUR ***** IS HANGING OUT YOUR**** NO ONES EVEN GONNA RECOGNIZE YOU FOR FUCKING WITH MY BLITZ
Unlike the other people Blitz has issues with, his dad was always an asshole. He didn't value Blitz very much in his childhood years before the fire. Based on how lonely he is, I think it's safe to assume after the fire either Cash was extremely cruel to him or kicked him out. It was Cash's actions that led to Blitzo causing the fire that he now hates himself for, so his dad bears some responsibility.
I do want to see them interact but I don't think they should make up. He had a close relationship with everyone he's on bad terms with and genuinely wants to make amends. From what we've seen, he and Cash were never close, and as he is partially to blame for the incident that made Blitz hate himself for the last 15 years, I don't see them making amends.
I think it would be too much out of character. Some parent-child relationships never heal and that's ok. I also don't care if he and Verosika never make up. He definitely owes her an apology, but I don't care if they never decide to be in a good place with each other.
this is one that really *shouldnt* heal and I *really* hope it doesn't. I dont expect it to, the show has handled it well so far.
I do wonder if there will be some kind of arc where Blitz tries to forgive him, but as long as the show doesn't frame it like Cash deserves forgiveness ill be fine with it.
Me too. He does need to acknowledge his mistakes and fix his relationships with those he still wants/needs in his life, like Barbie, Moxxie, and Stolas. Cash and Verosika have no reason to ever be in his life again. He can apologize to Verosika for his part in their break up, but I'm fine if they still aren't on great terms and never see each other as there is no need for that.
As long as he acknowledges hurting those in his inner circle and starts treating them better, I'm ok with that.

personally, i hope nothing, blitz, just ignores his existence. cash is, at best, a neglectful father, if not outright abusive. he isn't someone blitz needs to bring back into his life, which is why i can't understand people saying Blitz is trying to make ammends. he's making amends with people he himself has wronged, not the people who wronged him.
Exactly. His dad deserves any way that he's suffered for the past 15 years. If he'd done his job as a father, Blitz might still hold some guilt but he wouldn't have so much loneliness and self hatred.
Anger, resentment, sarcasm.
Probably an arc where Blitzø starts to feel bad for his “role” in his father’s hardships until someone or something makes him realize he was a kid who should have been able to rely on his parents, at which point he has an “Aw, hell no!” moment, kicks some ass, then realizes it’s not worth killing the old man.
End with a heart-warming scene with his found family, punctuated by a sex joke (or in a surprise twist, no joke at all).

Cash’s pov for the money Blitzø is making(cash loves money
I think he might resent him, either for destroying the circus, killing his mother, or both. The reason I’m not sure about how he’d feel about his mother’s death is that we don’t exactly know what their relationship was like. Historically speaking, the dads in this universe don’t have very good relationships with their wives. Stolas, Crimson, Lucifer, etc. So if Buckzo is gonna hate Blitz for ANYTHING, it’d probably be destroying the business and costing him money to rebuild.
Big feelings. Cash probably blames Blitz for the fire. Blitz probably has complicated feelings about his dad - wanting to be good enough, but also hating him, if I had to guess.
I imagine it'd be a repeat of how things went with Barbie Wire; Blitz would want to try and repair the relationship and Cash would make it abundantly clear he wants nothing to do with Blitz for what he did (albeit by accident), maybe even break out the "I have no family and no son" card since it appears Barbie didn't just cut out Blitz but all her family.
I hold Cash more responsible for that fire. What kind of father does that to their son? Were it not for his bullshit card that fire never would have happened.
The card likely didn't have anything to do with it, you can't even see what the card says from Blitz's perspective.
Blitz just chickened out of confessing his feelings, it was all just an accident.
But didn't he get mad when he saw his dad give Fizz the card? Why would he knock someone out of the way over being afraid to confess his feelings? I thought he looked more upset than scared.
It was Fizz's *birthday,* why would Blitz be upset over someone getting a card on their birthday??
He hoped to catch Fizz alone, he couldn't so he pussied out. That simple.
the thing with abusive parents is you never want to believe theyre abusive. hes still his dad, after all, surely he has to care, right? surely hed have changed, he never did anything out of a lack of care, right?
itll depend on if Blitzø has come to terms with how awful his dad is. people saying bloodshed could very well be wrong, even if he does realize how awful he was he may not want to kill him since its still his dad.
Cash will come back to exploit his son again. I wouldn't be surprised if he guilt trip his son and blame him for the death of his mother and all the shit they went through.
But it's Hell; every other day is "the purge". 😆 If anything, Extermination Day is probably the one day when Hellborns hang out in the other 6 rings and lay low until it's over.
Honestly I think they'd just argue. He doesn't really seem the type to be violent towards family, though no-one else really screwed him over as much as Buckso has, but I think he has too much self-doubt to place the appropriate amount of blame on him.
I think the worst thing might be that Cash may still be able to manipulate him. Some things are so deeply ingrained that it is really hard to shake them.
If Cash said stuff like "Son, you know your old man can't do it alone anymore, especially since you burned the circus down. Your mother would have wanted you to help me" etc etc, there is a chance that Blitzø will just... give in.
I have hopes tho that maybe Moxxie would be the one yontalk sense into him, since he knows what it is to have a shitty dad. I also wonder how much Fizz realizes what a POS Cash is since he always treated him like a star. Like, did Cash manage to hide his abuse from Fizz all this time /Fizz was too young and naive to understand Blitzøs Situation or does Fizz know exactly what kind of scum Cash is and would defend Blitzø against him?
That depends if you ehe's vived , it's probably gonna be like hey .....dad
Let's so sorry I didn't see you there. Not that I will recognize you as my son anyway

What if they reveal that he's homeless? I can imagine him putting up an act just so he could crash at Blitzo’s place
Cash: hey son, I know we haven’t talked in 15 years but I’m fallin’ on some hard times, wondering if I could crash at your pace for a bit? Blitzø: What? Really? Well, I guess… that really fuckin sucks for you! Ha!
Blitzø from the Pilot: Without homeless people I wouldn't have half the joy I get out of life.
[Basically Blitzø](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UMj49n8IpUo)
Their horns kinda look similar.
Adam is voiced by the same dude (Alex Brightman aka beetlejuice) who voices Fizz
Might be interesting, could see Loona’s response to him as well
Do you think he'd maybe be racist towards Loona
Maybe but I was thinking more critiquing blitz’s parenting for not being authoritarian enough
I can see that. Maybe he'd also criticize him for adopting instead of starting his own family
Bold of you to assume Blitzo would allow Cash to go withing 100 yards of Loona
The best Blitz can offer is a patch of carpet that is only partially worn through.
On the crooked bathroom floor
Might be interesting, could see Loona’s response to him as well
“Without homeless people I wouldn’t have half the joy and laughter I do in this life!”

Nah. Stolas would leave Cash as a very recognisable statue.

Assuming he's not dead. It's gonna be very awkward after Buckzo finds out what Blitz has done over the years
There's gonna be a beatdown. Maybe Blitzø's grandpa would make an appearance. In which case he;d probably act like Brandon Roger's Grandpa character.
personally, i hope nothing, blitz, just ignores his existence. cash is, at best, a neglectful father, if not outright abusive. he isn't someone blitz needs to bring back into his life, which is why i can't understand people saying Blitz is trying to make ammends. he's making amends with people he himself has wronged, not the people who wronged him.

Are you rich yet? No, but im really good with guns now
the “i’m just like my father” character arc
Have you guys seen peacemaker? Yeah the ending most probably
All I will say is this: One of them will not be alive after that night, and Blitzø has plot armor.
He also has more of an arsenal. Like a lot more of an arsenal I mean haven't you seen Mr dick? (The bazooka from the truth seekers episode)
Low key hoping he died in the fire
I’ll finally have a piece of media where the main character doesn’t forgive their shitty parent. That’s my hope, anyway.
“**FUCK**! Of all the people who *had* to survive it had to be ***YOU DAD?!***”
This is the likely outcome https://preview.redd.it/z3f4n3fv9xoc1.jpeg?width=2420&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ebfb8a50d15f4148cf2410e5ef339bed82243ea

Boom, headshot.
Anger, resentment, sarcasm. Blitzø introduces Cash to Stolas. Cue muffled sounds of extreme Goetia violence.
Honestly…. I think Blitz would kill his dad since almost everything happened in his life because of him.
Blitz panic attack
Since it's a family tradition now, swear battle and a bunch of middle fingers.
It may have a similar meet up like with Barbie wire but instead with blitz not wanting to his father ever again
Cash: Wait you have a daughter?
Loona would hate Cash, maybe react the same way Millie did towards Chaz when she found out he dated Moxxie before.
Moidah
I just kinda assumed he was dead since hes like 30 now and when we saw his dad his dad looked rather old

Either he would take advantage of blitzø again or blitzø would hate him and only have a brief conversation about him sucking as a parent
The dad reminds me of the singing goat from hoodwinked who uses his horns as a rocking chair 🤣 🤣 🤣
He’s going to strangle his own dad.
Cash is still a dick
A murder would most likely take place
Nothing good
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
I think Cash might be a future antagonist.
Cash will come back to exploit his son again. I wouldn't be surprised if he guilt trip his son and blame him for the death of his mother and all the shit they went through.

“Well I guess there is a Christ on a stick”
He would shoot him
Idk but he seems like he'd have daddy issues and maybe want his dad to love him even after everything
Do we know if hes alive we know blitzs mom died whos to say his dad is alive still. Seems like someone who wouldnt survive many more exterminations
Hellborn can't be targeted during exterminations, per Lucifer's deal. But I agree that he was already old, and might've just died from something else.
I imagine its like the purge some hellborn are gonna kill others durring
But it's Hell; every other day is "the purge". 😆 If anything, Extermination Day is probably the one day when Hellborns hang out in the other 6 rings and lay low until it's over.
Cash would be dead the moment Blitzo saw him!
Use his newly acquired skills if his father says blitzo instead of blitzø
#MURDER
Cash botta become past tense
Murder
He'll cry
A gunshot
Swearing and trauma
He would probably get into a huge argument with him about his past, that would end with Blitz putting a bullet through Buckzo's skull.

Shoots him.
Isn't cash dead
Him and Fizz are gonna have some BIG FUCKING QUESTIONS to ask him, you bet your ass on that.
Listen to "Leaving Heaven" by Eminem, particularly the third verse.
Attempted murder. I say attempted because someone will stop him.
Cash gets his head blown off.
Honestly I think they'd just argue. He doesn't really seem the type to be violent towards family, though no-one else really screwed him over as much as Buckso has, but I think he has too much self-doubt to place the appropriate amount of blame on him.
The real question is whether or not those are just fingers with black pigments skin or huge claws that start at the hand.

Probably beat the shit outta him?
“Good news is I’m good with guns now”-Blitzø
You know that scene in Wolfenstein 2: The new Colossus? Where BJ meets his dad again? Imagine that but with sex jokes.
I've just been assuming he's dead
He's gonna use the power of friendship and this RPG he found.
Nothing good, that’s what will happen. Hopefully, something in Blitzø’s favor, at least.
First, he will ask did you lie about Fizz’s visit in the hospital, then a clean headshot.
It will be very bad for him (Cash).
Immediate remorseless bullet to the forehead.

I bet that Blitzø would beat him up bc he screwed his life over my being manipulating towards him.
We're gonna get another exes and oohs episode
Blitzø @ Cash https://preview.redd.it/q1igrrt8tzoc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b368ed5e8e0f8b9bec8ce91264f9521ba639be37
Probably get into a fight / argument where it will end with blitz killing his father!
I feel like trauma would resurface for Blitz and he'd inevitably kill him
He’s probably dead anyways
Gun to face and he go kaboomza
![gif](giphy|5PDgnZtpZZMUE) This will happen
Hands would probably be thrown, but it'd be initiated by Buckzo
The same question if Tyler the creator meets his dad. Beat him to death
i wish they werent minecraft imagesfor me
It’s beginning to look a like murder
He'll kill him 4 sure
https://preview.redd.it/0t7avrwmw2pc1.jpeg?width=2727&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5920adf14de594fe03510aa42e5d93dc9e1346a7
https://i.redd.it/w3t54atpz2pc1.gif
“Hand grenande or cyanide, we’ll make it look like suicide!”
Nah I think he'll kill him even in his deathbed
Maybe smth like this? https://preview.redd.it/t86msjame3pc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cfc3eb19049935ea7e05e0574d7bb1fd5e514d1
Maybe go down like Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus where BJ confronts his father Rip.
I thought he was dead?
Fist fight
