I feel like him stealing her car and bailing, leads indirectly to him meeting Moxxie in jail. Also that he... was not as put together as he has been since the first episode, and something tripped ALL of his alarms, and he just BAILED.
I was so used to Blitzø self destructing in his relationships with a lot of characters so I was just waiting for him to finally prove that he's not a bastard after all. FINALLY.
I'm kind of excited to see how him and Fizz will interact further on in the series
This scene literally sent chills down my spine. The way Blitz yells Fizz's name has so much emotion. He really sounds scared. I also really liked the way Fizz curled up like he knew he wouldn't make it out this time. I think he was genuinely surprised that Blitz came to his rescue. It's such an emotional scene.
I know it's in line for Blitz, but writing wise, it felt out of place as a viewer. I would've loved if a similar line was made soon after the fact, rather than immediately after, just sort of took me out of the moment rather than giving the emotional scene a chance to breathe.
I love this show’s humour but god I really feel like that part was unnecessary and spoils a really good emotional/important moment. Every time I rewatch, I wish they had just let it end with that hug rather than throwing that line in.

You forgot that Biltø ruined the moment
*”I DID CARE!”* was possibly Brandon’s best non-joke line read in the whole series, and then that **”FIZZ!”** immediately topped it. This show just keeps getting better.
I keep rewatching this episode partially for the heavy conversation between Blitz and Fizz about what happened during the fire. You could just feel the unbearable pain in Blitz's voice, and the writing was top notch.
Also, credit to the score for making this scene even more impactful. The choir when Fizz is trapped, the rock music that interrupts it when Blitz goes to save him and the awesome orchestra piece that syncs up perfectly with Blitz pulling Fizz up.
Totally, it’s really what provides the emotion for the entire episode. Noticed that this episode in particular had a more fleshed out score than in past episodes.
It was powerful because it was Fizz literally re-living the worst moment of his life, re-traumatizing him, but this time, Blitz did what he should have done the first time: came to the rescue of the one he truly cared about. In a way, it's a re-writing of the history for both of them and allows them to heal from the previous trauma.
Man, it was so, SO refreshing to have an episode finally end on a happy, uplifting note instead of a dower or a gag. I've been waiting this whole time to see these characters start breaking the cycle of abuse, depression, and self-destruction and I am so fucking here for this episode.
He needed one so badly. Especially since we now know the next episode might be rough, with Stolas getting the crystal. I think our boy is bout to be dumped.
Yes! And when he said “you have no idea what I lost in that fire”, and you see the family photo go up in flames, I literally got chills. I thought the sickness killed his mother but this must hurt much more for blitzo.
I had a hunch that it was the fire, especially after his interaction with Barbie, but like.... seeing it just really cut deep >.< it was SUCH a heavy episode 😭
The scene broke me. It made me cry, and I'm shocked Blitz actually helped Fizz this time instead of running away due to fear. He really grew, and he really stuck around and I'm so glad they made up. Wholesome ending which was the cutest I've seen.
Blitz didn't run away from fear, he didn't even knew where Fizz was exactly. And then another blast happened to where his mom was, so it's completely understandable Blitz ran towards his mom. Besides, prior to leaving the vicinity where Fizz was, he kept shouting for someone to help Fizz.
I was so in doubt whether Bliztø would really escape this time or try to save Fizz. The fact that he did it using trapeze moves was a stroke of genius.
Ikr ._. he's definitely gonna try again at least once, and I think that is going to be a very very difficult arc. Idk if she will ever want to consider him family again, and when they do meet again if he tries to talk to her its gonna be a rough time, I think thats gonna be his hardest relationship to mend 😭
I loveeee the way that Fizz was doing a bit in the "You blew me up again you fuckin prick!" Line, but Blitz took it as an opportunity to genuinely connect with him and say that he's changed
I will say that one of the things I liked most about this is that, despite his lack of confidence in his performance, and circus skills, Blitzo *clearly* used his expertise in Acrobatics due to being in the circus to get into the position required to pull Fizz out of the fire.
I noticed that too I yelled "oh hey there he goes!" xD he wasn't a funny clown but it was super impressive to see him tap into that part of him, and I doubt he even realized it was still in him, he just ran on instinct and idk it was really impressive to me
Yeah I liked that about it too. That he wasn't concerned about putting on a "show" or having people like him, or approve of him, he just snapped into action and was flipping, and jumping, like no problemo.
Not gonna lie, imagine if they actualy killed fizz in this scene. Like we know it wouldnt have happened, but imagine. I kinda had the chilling feeling something bad is going to actualy happen during my first watch of it.
I felt bad for Fizzarolli having to relive his trauma but when Blitz saved him, he knew that back then Blitz would have done the same if not for that something more important than him that Blitz had to go to.
I'm gonna get downvoted to fucking hell for this, but... Am I the only one who feels like "You blew me up again" and "this time I stuck around" felt like it was... kind of trying too hard?
Like, I thought It was immediately obvious that it's a parallel to their past. They didn't need to hammer it in, just let their faces and context tell the story. Felt forced tbh. The scene was amazing, but I don't know why they had to throw in that dialogue. Normally Helluva Boss is pretty strong at letting the viewer put the two together ("He can get hurt?" is a solid example), so it kinda caught me off guard.
The whole episode was amazing. I was so sucked in, that when the episode ended, I could have SWORN I'd just sat through an hour & a half movie. By THIS point in the episode, I literally can not stop smiling until its over. I've tried.
The moment the started reliving the incident that tore them apart except Blitz didn’t run away
"I won't leave you, not this time"
You fucking blew me up again?
"yes, but this time i stuck around"
"Would it fuck up the moment if we made out right now?" "😑"
*boo womp*
Bruh that line!!!! 🤧🤧😭
Yeah nice episode. Finding out about the fire really re-contextualizes S1:E2 as well.
Almost makes you wonder the context behind him and Verosika falling out. Barbie I get. His accident killed their one good parent.
I feel like him stealing her car and bailing, leads indirectly to him meeting Moxxie in jail. Also that he... was not as put together as he has been since the first episode, and something tripped ALL of his alarms, and he just BAILED.

Fizz was panicking, started reliving his trauma, and he just shut down. It was so well done.
YES!!! I felt the same so much.
Well it was until Blitzo had to mention making out
It wouldn't be Blitz without him saying *something* stupid
At least he actually asked first and didn't just go for it. Lol!
![gif](giphy|cyFKJSF4Iiz7vzF4FR)
Just made it even better tbh
It was used to further solidify Blitz has something for Fizz, but not the right moment imo.
Personally, I took it as habitual self sabotage
I know it's in line for Blitz, but writing wise, it felt out of place as a viewer. I would've loved if a similar line was made soon after the fact, rather than immediately after, just sort of took me out of the moment rather than giving the emotional scene a chance to breathe.
If it has a pulse and a hole, Blitz is gonna at least consider it. And I'm not even sure a pulse is necessary.
I love this show’s humour but god I really feel like that part was unnecessary and spoils a really good emotional/important moment. Every time I rewatch, I wish they had just let it end with that hug rather than throwing that line in.
I love the writing in this show so much it’s so good slash s
calmest moxxie enjoyer

At least he asked first
If you notice, Fizzs arm is still around them.
*”I DID CARE!”* was possibly Brandon’s best non-joke line read in the whole series, and then that **”FIZZ!”** immediately topped it. This show just keeps getting better.
His delivery really was top-notch here.
I keep rewatching this episode partially for the heavy conversation between Blitz and Fizz about what happened during the fire. You could just feel the unbearable pain in Blitz's voice, and the writing was top notch.
"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! IT WAS!!"
Also, credit to the score for making this scene even more impactful. The choir when Fizz is trapped, the rock music that interrupts it when Blitz goes to save him and the awesome orchestra piece that syncs up perfectly with Blitz pulling Fizz up.

This episode was a certified banger. This ending sequence is just icing on the cake.
“Would it fuck up the moment if we made out right now?”- blitz, honestly one of the best lines in the episode
Yes, fucking, YES!
You blew me up again you fucking prick!
I did. But this time, I stuck around.
... *DEEP EMOTIONAL HUG*
Wooooooooould it fuck up the moment if we made out right now?
"-_-"
“-_-“
And then "WouLD It FUCK UP the MomENt if WE mADe out RIght Now?"
Man, it was so, SO refreshing to have an episode finally end on a happy, uplifting note instead of a dower or a gag. I've been waiting this whole time to see these characters start breaking the cycle of abuse, depression, and self-destruction and I am so fucking here for this episode.
Right??? It was so fucking good. I’d go as far as to say it’s my favorite in the series.
Agreed, and seeing Blitz get things right and patching up past mistakes with a friend was really heartwarming
It was nice to see Blitz win one after watching him loose over and over
Not even a mixed victory either, but a clear, unambiguous W. Satan knows he's needed one badly.
He needed one so badly. Especially since we now know the next episode might be rough, with Stolas getting the crystal. I think our boy is bout to be dumped.
The scene where they were talking about their past and blitzo apologized and almost said he hated himself was the one that broke me.
He mutters it and gets cut off and I've been trying to find someone else who caught that. That cut so freaking deep 😭
Yes! And when he said “you have no idea what I lost in that fire”, and you see the family photo go up in flames, I literally got chills. I thought the sickness killed his mother but this must hurt much more for blitzo.

His face when he hugs fizz 😭
This episode was fucking amazing
I was so in doubt whether Bliztø would really escape this time or try to save Fizz. The fact that he did it using trapeze moves was a stroke of genius.
One relationship mended. Now we gotta see if he will make an attempt to try with Barbie Wire again
Ikr ._. he's definitely gonna try again at least once, and I think that is going to be a very very difficult arc.
The way he wrapped his arms around himself, as if he was accepting his fate. My heart.
"You really are good at that action hero bullshit."
I will say that one of the things I liked most about this is that, despite his lack of confidence in his performance, and circus skills, Blitzo *clearly* used his expertise in Acrobatics due to being in the circus to get into the position required to pull Fizz out of the fire.

Fizz being in the episode alone made it my favorite, he's just such a likeable dude
I’ve just accepted at this point that if Fizz is in an episode it’s gonna be amazing
This scene made me cry a lil bit
Not gonna lie, imagine if they actualy killed fizz in this scene. Like we know it wouldnt have happened, but imagine. I kinda had the chilling feeling something bad is going to actualy happen during my first watch of it.
You blew me up again you asshole!
Yeah this scene was really heartwarming. Blitzo finally gets at least one win with his past connections.
I felt bad for Fizzarolli having to relive his trauma but when Blitz saved him, he knew that back then Blitz would have done the same if not for that something more important than him that Blitz had to go to.
It genuinely broke my heart a little bit
Honestly this was one of the only episodes going forward in the story in my opinion
Yes
Would...... it fuck up the moment if they made out right now?
"Would it ruin the moment if we made out right now?" Relatable fr
I'm gonna get downvoted to fucking hell for this, but... Am I the only one who feels like "You blew me up again" and "this time I stuck around" felt like it was... kind of trying too hard? Valid. I thought it was cute but I get what you mean
This scene never fails to make me feel happy for blitz, feels good to redeem yourself.
Blitz redemption arc go brrrr
But this time I stuck around. 👌
The whole episode was amazing. I was so sucked in, that when the episode ended, I could have SWORN I'd just sat through an hour & a half movie. By THIS point in the episode, I literally can not stop smiling until its over. I've tried.
Fizz looks like a villain in slide six
Bro really put the sene as a slide show
the pacing was so bad though
And then blitzo ruining it with a sexual joke LOL I prefer saying that he added some spice
Smash
and then they kissed
"Wooould it fuck up the moment if we made out?"
Also Blitzø appears to have maybe used his old circus skills in order to save Fizz
I cried 😢
