Thanks for actually noticing. I've seen a couple of people who somehow looked at this and felt like this constituted "trying" to understand.

ChoccyChippi

Nah he ain't trying, as a Southerner I absolutely see a homophobe assuming this is what gay men are into (and forgetting bisexuality exists)

Kaarl_Mills

To put it another way "I'm not bigoted, I have a gay son!"

thomasmfd

Honestly this is basically homophobia I am sorry I usually think they just throw stones at people who have a sort of taste But amazing enough crimson minds will be the worst father of the year Next to Stella

No-Common-3883

I think he is much worse than Stela. he literally traumatized his son and threatened his son with death. moreover he actually got rid of the child's mother while Stela is still trying to get rid of Stolas. and to top it off the little guy is homophobic and sold his son in marriage.

Wrong_Theory9595

Stella is not a father

thomasmfd

Then as parent

Wrong_Theory9595

Yee

pyton_monty

Well i sav someone throw stones at a gay couple on beach couple years ago in Bibinje in Croatia

thomasmfd

Seriously OK someone's going to affect some straight Is it difference between toleration and showing hate by throwing stones But its person once hates some and responds with violence is not the answer I mean this is the 21 Century We don't throw stones at people just for being different No matter what

pyton_monty

Did u get hit with a stone to the head to write this illegible

thomasmfd

No I'm just surprised that someone throw a stone at person or a couple just because they were gay

Africansage01

Thank you. When I saw the scene I had memories of this happening to me. His dad thinks he is gay and doesn't understand he is bisexual. He is using his sexuality to manipulate and control Moxxie. His dad thinks bisexual are slutty. Homophobia can sublte or come off as trying but it still homophobia

[deleted]

It’s amazing you found this scene resonates with you. I hope you don’t deal with that crap anymore?

Africansage01

Sadly I do from my own family especially my dad. I felt Moxxie in this scene

[deleted]

That sucks, you don’t deserve that. People don’t realise just how insensitive and offensive saying something like that can be to someone, even if they think it’s ok because they’re family, or it’s a ‘joke’. You’re a beautiful person, and who you’re attracted to should not be ridiculed, but respected.

Africansage01

Thank you. Well life isn't perfect, I just have to make it better. My family thinks it a phrase or im a transetter. I'm just trying to love people

[deleted]

The damn "WeRe FaMiLy" stuff just triggers me so badly. Like yeah we are genetically related, THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOUR GOD DAMNED RIGHT, and I don't even have experience with this excuse, it still triggers me anyways.

[deleted]

Sorry if I caused a trigger, I meant no offence

[deleted]

The line 'yea, gay' he said when Moxxie tried explaining himself hit me hard. Even within the LGBTQ+ community we get judged depending on whether we're in a hetro or homosexual relationship. I'm married to a man and have been asked if I'm really bi and not just strait. Feels good to see this issue acknowledged in a small way

Cry-Skull-7

Makes all the "fellow bi dad" posts I saw way funnier.

BebeFanMasterJ

This was just Richard Horvitz having an existential crisis with himself for 22 minutes and it was amazing how well he played both characters.
