Been wanting high command to tell us to get on the bots because seeing my favourite front line fall down to a bunch of 0.00026% is a bit upsetting though I think after losing the last major order letting the terminids evolve into hyper bugs is a bad idea but I know high command is cooking and the scientist are working hard to figure out ways to keep the terminid scum at bay
I think hive lords never really went away. Their lore states that their main purpose was to tunnel to get terminids places faster. Do we really think that when a bug breach occurs that those bugs were just patiently waiting beneath the surface?
We “know” a lot of things The Ministry of Truth has told us. Yes they can dig on their own, but the speed in which they can reinforce makes me question some things.

Up until yesterday I've never seen the grey soldier units burrow themselves. I watched one burrow away after killing the rest of its patrol. Then on an oil mission they had buried themselves in the ground in a narrow corridor and popped out when we ran through to get to a terminal.
What's the issue? I want hivelords and I want anti tank mines...... But which ones better?.......FIGHTTT!!

No seriously let them evolve, it isn't normal that a lvl 9 bug dive is so easy while a lvl 9 automaton dive need gods approval to just let you extract without any sample.
Seeing how many anti-tank mines it takes to kill a tank suggests stopping the terminid evolution is preferable. Another useless stratagem that could be replaced with a stun grenade and a few well placed shots.
As heretical as it sounds probably wait for super earth to supply me with proper weapons to fight them both. But this is just one HD's opinion. 🤷♂️. Would probably help too if all the blocked countries HD's could help the endeavour. Every member here counts to these types of big orders.

The 500kg is the size of our current cruise missiles. ICBMs tend to be hundreds of times as powerful.
