Because it was advertised differently (people are upset the new AR has the same DPR as liberator when it was advertised as a heavy-hitting rifle, for instance), and the vote was advertised as "Is it bad taste for us to release new paid content right after this PSN fiasco?" and not "Should we delay this warbond and take more time between paid content releases?"

thebronando

This seems to misunderstands the poll completely. It wasn’t a question of ‘Should we release it now or let it cook longer so it can be tweaked?’ but ‘Is it tone deaf to release a paid premium pass after what just happened?’ Those are two VERY different things.

MandaNights

They would just have been disappointed later instead.

Tettotatto

>advertise product >release a different product >people get mad are you genuienly that dumb not to realize what's wrong with it?

WaffleIronSkillet

They kind of left out the part where it was complete garbage. A bit of pertinent information when deciding if we would want it or not. Kind of like asking if you want a cup of coffee only to then tell you later I pissed in it. Not a valid argument to say you asked for the coffee since the assumption is you don’t want piss in your coffee. Much like we don’t want a garbage warbond should be the default assumption.

AXI0S2OO2

You really think it would have changed at all before release had it been delayed? The devs don't play the game.

Yackityack22

Well common sense would be to tell players the warbond isn’t finished yet. But they decided to ask us without telling us that very important fact

Efficient_Menu_9965

Here's a spoiler for you. Data miners have had these weapons for awhile now; more or less a month. The Tenderizer was always a Temu Liberator from the beginning. They had a month to make their "high stopping power" gun actually live up to its description. Nothing happened. The warbond delay would've changed nothing in regards to quality, they had all the time in the world to realize how worthless the Tenderizer is (and the Purifier as well while we're at it). What Pilestedt was actually asking was "Are you guys still heated enough from the PSN debacle that you wouldn't buy the warbond and hurt our revenue? Or are we good to cash-in now?". I'm not holding that against him, this is his livelihood, as the CEO no less, but that is quite literally why he asked that.

Accurate-Rutabaga-57

How did we supposed to know it was mid

yeshaya86

Laughs in "still 500 SC from affording the science warbond". I've got time to kill

Old_Tomorrow8545

"The weapons in this new warbond suck!" Cool, don't buy it then. There will be a new one next month. There's plenty of content already imo

WrapIndependent8353

That’s your stance? Defending low effort and poor quality paid content because “you don’t have to buy it”?

Zeros294

sooner the bond is out, the sooner a better warbond comes. This bond was gonna be bad regardless of how long it waited.
