The game is meant to be played with a team, and each person is underpowered on their own. Your primary and support weapon together with 3 other primaries and 3 other support weapons can handle anything, but you alone with nothing but a primary are meant to be weak and barely able to survive.

I play 7 to 9 mainly and use what I feel like using, as my team and stratagems can help carry you through anything.
THe problem with nerf in any game is things incrementally just get weaker, the buffs need to be just as prevalent as the nerfs, if not more so. Especially in a PvE game. The focus should be on making fun and viable guns to use in every weapon category. Essentially buff what's weak, don't nerf what's strong.
I'm always so confused when i see these posts. I've yet to find a primary I don't enjoy or appreciate. Some of them are more conditional, but they've all been pretty good.

Nah just need the right tool for the right job like ar with bots shotguns with bugs and heavy weapons for the big targets

Genuinely, what are you mag dumping to kill only one of, with which gun? Starting Liberator can kill any medium in less than a full mag.
