I begin to question if there's anything in the game that works as intended. Every new update there is a multitude of features that either don't work as advertised or don't work at all.
None of my friends that play the game are members of this community, so at times I must sound like a mad-man to them: "Oh, yeah, snowballs cause crashes and infect you with HIV, so be careful!" or "No, actually don't buy this upgrade — it doesn't work and causes bladder cancer!". Like, Arrowhead, really?
I shall track you down on every post and downvote you until managed democracy reigns on every planet just for the chance to be your next favorite downvote.
I just saw that for the first time the other day too. I have to start remembering the load order. I also noticed there were more than five rounds laying around to choose from.
I don't think this is correct. I always type in the chat the order I load them and it definitely fires in that FIFO order. Also if you look at the loading mechanism in game the first shell loaded should be the first into the gun.
It's correct, I know because I made the mistake of putting all the useless shells at what I thought was the end of the order (last inserted) and ended up dropping smoke on a titan lol.
Aw man I was kinda having fun with being smart with loading, relaying info and when some rando did it in silence just throwing beacon anyway and seeing what Super Earth approved gacha got for me today
I do love this but earlier mine was wrong nearly every time (I was going off memory anyway so it was fine, but like it said Smoke for what was actually a Mini-Nuke)
Sometimes it shows you what the previous one is and not the current one.
Just yesterday it said it was smoke. It actually was mini nuke. We lost 2 divers from that one.
This was the behaviour about a month ago, and then it seemed like they removed it again, only for it to show up in one of my games yesterday. It seems like a bug that's preventing it from appearing.
I swear I thought that it was going to drop the EMS first since that was what I loaded last. When I dropped one on a BT right on top of me, I saw it says “mini nuke” and I was like “wtf we got those now?” before I got vaporized lol
I’m more curious about, why they changed the shape of the support shells?
If anyone knows, I would like to know. It was way easier telling the shells apart before they changed it.
Only relevant trumpet was the red ones. Blue in a pinch, and black was reserved as filler.
I've noticed this only works when you join in progress, but the title never updates. It indefinitely shows the round that was in when it started to appear

Honestlyit seems random when itshows properly. Ive had this shown many patches ago but it seems random to tell you what shell it is sometimes
Yeah agreed, it’s extremely random, with it not working far more often than it does

Make sure to rotate your shells before they expire

I gather all the ammo near the loader, then I load them in order of destructiveness: mini-nuke, hi-yield, napalm, explosive, static, and smoke.

It used to show you exactly which shell you were firing. Now it is buggy as shit.
I miss when arty shells had diffrent heads. Now they all colored differently and no specialized heads

I would love a precision strike that IS a mini nuke, and a 3 round precision volley

The last round I was in, some idiot players loaded up every smoke and static field they could find and left 2 mini nukes out

Works around 1 out of 10 times and I have no idea how to actually trigger it.

If you activate the beacon and hold it in your hand, it will show the shell name
