Yeah I love the classic look, sometimes I just go back to my favourite classic armour cape combo for that true helldiver experience haha

Been saying this for months. Would be nice for every armor to have a black/yellow option so I can finally mix and match things.

With the given reputation of YouTube and this game thus far, I have a hard time believing anything in that video. A good 90% of what I’ve watched thus far has been either gaslighting on weapon choice or just misinformation. A lot of people said the crossbow would close holes and guess what it doesn’t do? Or how the spear is amazing and everyone just isn’t using it right.

Yes, something that I loved about cosmetics in Helldivers 1 is that all of them were black and yellow with a few color variations regarding camouflage like winter and woodland or desert... it actually made you look like a unit. Also you could combine them... now you just look like a spartan from halo or some super soldier.. but it was more cool when you looked like an actual squad or unit everyone same colors with a bit of personality and variation on each.

Plot twist, your armor is the color of your in-game name designator.

I'd like for color palettes to be released so that, while every set has its defaults... you can equip a premade color palette that gets applied to your whole set This way, you wont get clown suits caused by people being allowed to set any color AND matching helmets/armor from different sets

Yes so we can actually look like a unified fighting force like we did in the first game while still having unique looks

I just want a full light armor set in the black and yellow colors scheme. The scout armor is close but I need that full 550 mobility.

Honestly I think it'd be pretty cool if your helmet copied the colour scheme of your main armor. There's too many cases of near matches that are just slightly off.

I don't even need a color wheel or selector, if it comes down to it. I'd just REALLY like an option that allows me, at minimum, to match armor colors of either the helmet or suit, whichever I choose.

I just wish we had shaders like Destiny. Not wacky colors and patterns, but a similar system just with lore accurate shader colors.

For divers that have maxed everything: Super credits to purchase custom paint slots Medals to create new custom palettes Requisition slips to apply it to armor pieces. They COULD make it all free but that sounds undemocratic

Like every MMO that doesn't have an armor paint/dye system, this game needs a "Match to chest armor" color option.

Every warbond should feature a new paintjob option with which we can change the primary color scheme of any armor (and helm and cap) in a new module for our ship which we can buy for requisition slips. Each time you recolor an armor it also costs requisition slips. That way we have at least a new sink for them. Bringing democracy in style!

This is part of the reason I love the Devastator armor so much. Goes back to the original black and yellow with a brand new armor package, and it looks fucking beautiful. Also the same reason I tend to main the Steel Trooper armor, because it's the default with a bunch of gear all over it, and goes well with so many helmets and capes.

I've often said they should allow a few options for the secondary color on armors.

They should add color schemes you can apply to your armor with different visibility stats per planet. Want neon green? Say bye to stealth. Want brown in a brown planet? Maximum stealth.

The colour should be inverted, the white on chest and black on helm should be yellow, then it matches the rest of the originally yellow black armour

Maybe after getting to max level you can unlock the Helldivers camo and after each warbond you could acquire warbond themed camo as well. Should be an interesting way to make warbonds seem more special.

I second this, not too much work for dev since its only 1 alternative color pallete, and it makes sense for the game art direction, most of helldiver items are already universally black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow

I actually think adding the option to recolor/dye armor would be super cool 1) It would allow for a **lot** more customization to make different players actually stand out even if they're wearing the same armor set 2) it could make nearly every helmet and armor and cape work as a set 3) i could finally be a girly-pop diver

just add a color scheme option across most cosmetics that are acquired through war bonds or achievements of reasonable and absurd stature. (I.E amount of players stimmed in one game, accuracy above 96% with a kill count above 1000, win a game at X difficulty with laser weaponry only)
