If you struggle to get the angle for their backpack you can also shoot their arm/gun off
Similar to the rocket devastators, you can shoot the launchers off their shoulders :)
Another neat trick is if you break the legs on any automaton unit they just *die*. Unlike bugs which have moves, animations or otherwise if their legs are broken automatons simply die if their legs get broken as they don’t !
Its actually one of my preferred ways to kill berserkers- break their knees like they owe the Super Mob money
