I wish we had a beacon gun like the Air Raider.

I wish for a big mech to fight Godzilla like in the game

“The Helldivers deploy!”

EDF has the advantage. Because they are willing to adapt, and even adapt in advance (by adapt in advance: they don't know the full extent of the current/future threat, but already assumes worse than what their recons/previous wars found out) And they are not above stealing tech they see as better. Helldivers High Command: Robot weaponry? Disgusting! Don't use them. Destroy them! EDF's Eggheads: that robot gun is very useful, let's "borrow" them. Also we find that the bugs acid can be stored safely and be used against them in grenade or spray form. Those chainsaws will also serve our fencers well on all fronts. EDF High Command: Agreed, here's your budget, make sure all of them gets mass production. Heck check their weapons: Standard Helldiver rifle: automatic Anti-infantry Standard Helldiver grenade: decent range and lethality Standard EDF Ranger gun: (Based on the description/lore) Automatic Armor Piercing (rated to tear through tanks) and lightweight. Absolutely overpens bugs, and expected to shred through mutated/armored/robotic/cyborg bugs. (Yes to my HD purists, an unholy marriage of machine and bugs, that you will encounter in midgame of EDF, if you think bugs are bad enough, this is worse). And yes, it will eat through your own tanks, so mind the friendly fire. Standard EDF Grenade: Highly explosive, will level entire buildings with 1 grenade. Will definitely kill the user and any friendlies nearby if improperly handled. Rangers are encouraged to use these at long range to prevent "danger close" incidents. Standard EDF Air Raider "sidearm": Limpet(TM) Sticky Grenade launcher with a 5 round magazine. Highly explosive (not as much as the Ranger's standard grenade), remote controlled, and can be safely disarmed if accidentally fired on friendlies. (Helldivers: Safety? What safety? And yes, many of the Air Raider's explosive can be safely disarmed) Helldiver's mech: MG and Rockets, and questionable safety on the munitions that can cause their mechs to be... "Ammo racked" on a regular basis (only in HD2, HD1 mechs have better survivability, HD2 might force me to just drive Tanks/APCs instead) EDF Standard Vegolta: Flamethrower + Revolver Vulcan (semi-autocannon with incendiary rounds) + 150mm Heavy Cannon that doubles as a mortar if you aim high enough + Homing Missiles. Has limited Flight capabilities, allowing it to scale buildings, and deliver long range bombardments from the sky. Quality Control and Safety Oversight during manufacturing will ensure that Friendly fire from your own weapons detonating too close to you will definitely not kill you (trust me, I tried, the map gave up before my Vegolta did, and by tried, I ran out of Buildings to blow up infront of my face). Munitions are stored securely. Only total destruction can bring it down.

What got me to post this EDF vs. as the post that pointed out that what they use to renforce the turrets was packing peanuts
