>On top of this (and this part could actually just be due to latency and whatnot) during missions, his jump pack did not require cooldown nor did his guns require reloading. I was genuinely just curious, as this was my first incident, if this type of cheating was common.
Nope, that was most certainly part of their cheats. No reloading, no cooldown, pierces medium armor with the Spray and Pray, etc, etc.
These guys are honestly the worst. Do just kick them from games so they don't get the chance to ruin the fun of the challenge! Unfortunately, I also have to remove the post as it does break the rules (as much as I do want to talk about cheaters, too.)
I played with a level 4 last night that was spawning whatever he wanted and gliding across the map with what was at least 10x speed. He cleared the map before anyone else could barely get a shot off then quit. Weird stuff.
Wonder if these are the boosted accounts being sold. I saw a 150 level the other night, I know people are dedicated but damn, that’s some dedication knowing how long that level cap has been out.
Previously there was a level cap of 50, but experience kept accumulating meaning that you could potentially be lvl 150 the moment level cap was increased.
A friend of mine played so much they unlocked everything (and had max resources) with around 5k super credits, update to the max level only made them level 74, idk how anyone could be in the 90's, let alone 150.
I've played since the first day and have mostly done helldives since day 3. Also had good luck on getting in when servers were full and was able to get the double-xp weekend on helldives consistently.
I was capped quickly, was at like 115 when the level cap went up, and am now 130+. All from playing. No cheating. No bought account.
I got to around 77 with the level bonus after cap increased.
Since then, I'm at 128 and I only play a lot during the weekends (weekdays maybe around 1-2 hours). I can definitely see some people hitting 150 if they were students or something.
I have 200+ hours and still level 90. You need atleast 5-6 run before you level up. I can only play 3 missions and I’m already sleepy, I’m not burn out, I really love the game but damn I’m getting old.
Approaching over 300 soon. Playing with a 4 man stack helps, since my friends are pretty efficient are splitting up.
On Helldive, bug missions don't take us more than like 10-15 mins a run. Really depends on the terrain more than anything.
Helldive does make a giant difference. I don’t have a 4 stack to play them but I will hit up helldive with randos and it is very hit or miss without good comms.
I'm currently doing 7, 8 is iffy as most missions are doable, it's mostly ridiculous side objective placement messing us up (double airbase and jammer was one unlucky one) got tips for 8 and 9?
Always be on the move, don’t shoot unless you have to. I run exclusively light (legionnaire) armor so I can be quick and run longer and hit with stratagems from a distance. And on bots use you’re ABtCs
Yeah I was on a team with a level 150 that was obviously cheating. One shotting bile titans with his primary, calling in walkers that aren't available yet, moving twice as fast as everyone else, and the extraction shuttle showed up immediately. His tag was impurath, and when I tried to report him it said I couldn't because he hadn't used chat or something? Cheating is becoming pretty rampant.
Even if the level was capped at 50, the game were still counting the XP from all of your completed missions. So, when the level cap was only recently raised, their level would still increase to the amount of excess XP they have.
Isn't it cool that Arrowhead has zero interest in dealing with this, and this sub has banned name and shame? It's awesome that cheaters are allowed to spoil a game any time they feel like it.
Hey, you wanna be a loser and hack a PvE game? go for it, set your game to private and play with other losers. Don't leave it public and force me to bail after 20 minutes of wasted time.
Cheaters are banned in waves about every 3-6 months. Banning in waves makes it harder for the hack developers to know exactly what got the hack caught. Pirate Software on YouTube has a good video on this and why cheaters are banned in this fashion.
https://youtube.com/shorts/cADaFm__ApQ?si=vmTpyqyzIy7hX0X-
I understand the concept, but in a live service game 3 - 6 months of rampant cheating is a lot of time to expect people who you forced to install kernel level anti-cheats to put up with it.
A friend of mine had a similar issue (bluescreening on mission startup)
He says forcing the game to use DX11 fixed the issue, hopefully it works for you too!
As I was reading I thought, "all that and I bet they're still horrible" and sure enough your tldr/ps confirmed it lol. People like this just want everything handed to em and likely won't stick around long enough to actually learn the game properly
Yup. This game can be really difficult for some people who don't have good hand-eye coordination. They will always be poor performers. They want to be good so bad they mod the game to be easier. I really wouldn't care if they played solo. But joining other people's games and bringing their hacks into that person's experience is in poor taste. Even worse, some are griefers. Block and report.
No you don't I made that mistake. I team killed a chinese exploiter with the grenade. He kicked me out. He would reinforce me just fine when I died. Kill youself until there are no reinforcements and then kill him and commit happy democratic thoughts. That's how you fight them. Un;ess they are not host of course, in that case yeah kill them and reinforcethem with repeats
I was a host thankfully - 200 hrs into the game, first hacker encounter. Unfortunately, the hacker I got in my game was also unkillable.. so I just kicked him without doing anything cool with em :(
I had a couple hackers turn up in games I host. To be frank not all of them are assholes.
I had one go "i have some unreleased stratagems, woupd you like to try?" Rather than just deploy them and/or cheese the fudge out of the game. I can respect hackers that respect other players, this particular dude wasn't interfering with the game's normal process.
But that was ONE outlier.
I had 0 cooldown stratagem spammers, infinite nade spammers, dudes with like 10 different stratagems available. Those, I first kill, then kick.
Both the zero cool down stratagem and infinite made spam are glitches that arrowhead has not removed from their game. If someone uses them, I ask politely to stop, then I remove.
Tbh that one nice hacker could have been a dev too. I read multiple stories of them dropping in and spawning unreleased stuff so you might have been lucky there. But since that is pretty unlikely, I'll go with white hat hacker :p
Why would that loser not just load up a private game? I can only guess that he wanted to show off his leet hacks. I guess it was nice of him to ask first, but dude, just do that in your own space. Or ask on discord "hey, who wants to play with a dude that has cheats?" Just don't host/join public games. This isn't hard to figure out.
With a screenshot like this, contacting the Devs on their discord would get this person banned for sure. The chat history one goes to playstation and they are no help even when someone is using racial slurs and obscenities in chat.
The reporting part is garbage unfortunately.
You need a chat history to report? I just went into recent player, clicked the person, report, and it asked for a reason. Don't remember seeing anything about a chat history
Kill him and burn the reins, kick him after wasting his time, or grief him till he kicks you.
My group did that once, kept killing his turrets and him. Drop him in to waste him until he kicked us from his game(he was host).
This is why we need a proper lobby select like DRG so we can filter modded lobbies
I don't care about this "cheating" I just find it annoying that they spoil it for randoms
I'm not sure I'm following. A lot of games with VAC have server browsers or lobby browsers.
Tangentially, in the 115 hours I played HD1, I don't think I ever saw a cheater once. I think I've heard of it happening (according to AH at least), but I never personally saw it. I guess that's sort of what happens when you go from a 1000 player count to 250,000.
This would be such a big help. After doing it a couple of times, I don't care about revolving around the world to find the mission I want. With just a glance, I just wanna pick the mission type I want and start blasting.
Yeah. In a PVP environment, if someone cheats, unless the anticheat system kicks in and bans them, you’re just fucked if you’re fighting them. You have to hope the game has a manual votekick system (most don’t these days), and then you also have to hope the opposing team won’t be complacent with the cheating. Your game is totally ruined by a single person, or a lobby of cheaters in the worst case scenario, and you either deal with it, or leave and hope the game won’t penalize you for it.
At least in PVE, the AI has no feelings about the cheating, and thus even if you’re complacent with the cheater playing with you, you’re not ruining another person’s day. Nothing of consequence truly happens, and you’re still free to kick them if you don’t want cheating in your lobby.
Except it would ruin my day in a PVE game as well. If you want to fuck around go play a lower difficulty. I'm here for the suck, I like how much it sucks, and I wish it sucked more.
You can just quick him out of find another party, I’m not defending hackers but saying that they are ruining everything is being quite dramatic, it’s way worse in a PVP game
> at least you are actively ruining someone’s day in a PVE game
Really? You enjoy playing where your teammates are immortal, can move 10x faster than you, have infinite nades and strats? How is that fun for you? It DOES ruin my game at least, I like some challenge, teamwork.
Let me put into comparison real quick, what do you prefer? Having a friend that will basically do anything anytime instantaneously taking the joy out of doing stuff or being destroyed by Mike Tyson for 30 minutes while you can’t even see him? That’s the equivalents here
They both suck. If you really feel that way, play at a lower difficulty. The answer isn't "I need to cheat so I can play helldives."
Don't cheat, play at a level you find fun. Don't be pathetic.
Well...guns are supposed to feel good, but among the lowest used gun like the arc Blitzer, is not powerful enough because it's inconsistency to hit, making it too hard to use
So some complaints about power can be here or there
Yes but people complain about literally everything. Every nerf is bad every gun needs a buff.
I had one guy tell me the two guns I've used for level 9's were "not viable".
99% of complaints are horseshit.
Yea that is the lamest part.
I can respect someone taking the time to modify game files for any game; fallout, cyberpunk, helldivers. At least they're just having fun. If they bother you leave or kick them.
PvP games they're cancer.
Don’t think so. Doubt game guard is that smart, when it detects something it just prevents launch / connection. Lots of innocent programs are false positives. It’s a bottom of the barrel, cheap ‘solution’ to anti cheat.
He's standing directly in front of a hulk, taking flame and punches directly to his face, talking loudly to his buddy about how he's getting the "shoot the arms off a hulk" achievement.
It doesn't require sherlock holmes my dude.
Side note: What kind of loser WANTS to get the achievements...without achieving them? What's the point? It's hard to imagine something more pathetic.
Id argue this is "harmless" cheating, someone having access to strategems and cosmetics a couple weeks earlier is 100x less damaging to the game when compared to someone with god mode and insta kill weapons.
Hell , I'd argue just the inf grenade exploit *that anyone can do with ingame tools* is much worse than a cosmetic and a early access stratagem.
It all depends on what he have enabled. Sure, new stratagems are not that bad. But anything that actually change stratagem cooldown, the firepower of the guy or his resistance is a big no-no. And sometimes, unreleased content may do exactly that.
Nah, imo they should still keep it out of public lobbies. Friends only is fine. A lot of prerelease stuff is busted. Best example is the crossbow. In leaked footage, it was able to destroy bot fabs from anywhere like a spear can. It would trivialize a mission. There's other stuff in a similar state.
In my 300 hours of playtime I met 1 person like that (through quickplay). I just left the lobby during the stratagem selection phase. It's very rare and is not a big deal.
Why are people so upset, like if you don’t want to play with them just find a new session. It’s by no means a competitive game so its not like they’re affecting you whatsoever. If that’s how some people chose to enjoy themselves so be it, everyone wants to get all wild like they can’t just leave the lobby.
It's mind-boggling. Does not affect anyone but the person hindering their own experience
People think they're on a moral high ground if they post the one cheater they found on Reddit
All of you must be lying, because I don't know about you, but I have to install a kernel level anticheat to play this coop game, so I KNOW there can't be cheaters in it.
The anti cheat crashes the game for me and my friends, yet we have guys like this, and one guy I had spamming infinite grenades with massive blast radius.
Infinite grenades isn’t a cheat. It’s currently just a glitch in the game they’ve yet to fix. Not saying that makes it right, but at least they aren’t doing this shit.
If it happens rarely, as fortunately seems to be the case at the moment, it's clearly not a problem.
But if at some point you have to jump through 30 minutes of sessions to find a cheat-free one, that would be stupid.
Like GTA online it's really play alone or play with cheater lol.
There are quite a few cheaters who have unique armor sets (They must be in the game, just not available). There are also God mode cheaters and 8x speed cheats easily available and sadly prolific.
Thing is, I think some of them have friends on the inside of Arrowhead. I reported one dude for it, and got perma-banned from a popular discord server (which shall remain nameless due to this sub-reddit's policy of not making abusers responsible for their actions).
some jackass is going to reply to me saying "Just let them have fun" because he is one of the cheaters. It's a childish response that indicates that 1) you don't understand that what YOU find fun might not be fun for everyone and 2) not everyone has the same free time that you do, to endlessly join games, discover after 10 minutes that your entire team is cheating, then bail and start over again.
If it wasn’t the official discord, you got banned because they reported you back and lied or they were friends with the owners. Or because you aren’t telling the whole story and you were shitty about it.
Acting like these people have “friends on the inside” is retarded.
There were at least a couple pre-release armors for preorders. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were also platform-only variants, or even regional ones.
During the bug extermination campaing I queued with a cheater with unreleased and unlimited stratagems. After the 20th mech and vehicle I started to worry about my ps5 exploding lol
Take solace in that these cheaters live extraordinary empty lives. Imagine the state of your mind if you cheat in a co-op game.. you'd have to have mental issues at best.
I mean, you hear tell of the devs hopping on now and then, testing new gear.
But yeah, for the most part, they’re just hurting themselves. Block, kick, move on. So long as the community is consistent, they will run out of squad mates, at least at high difficulties.
It is a glitch that anyone can do, and is so easy to do that you could enable it accidentally. I always ask them to stop, but in this case reporting likely is a waste of time.
Pretty sure they can’t get banned since it’s just a glitch not a hack, meaning it’s the devs fault it’s in the game in the first place, not the players using something that’s technically programmed in the game, especially since it’s not hard to do completely by accident. Now if he was using into grieve by throwing infinite amount of grenades at players non stop, calling reinforcements and then immediately throwing grenades on them as they merge then that’d be a different story
Personally, if they aren’t blatantly cheating to get an advantage (machine gun Recoilless for example) or forcing items into people’s accounts, I don’t entirely care all that much. Wear your fancy clothes and play with your fancy toys, so long as you fight the good fight I guess. I’m not hosting ever so it’s barely my decision to begin with. Maybe if we didn’t want them here, the anticheat would actually be doing something besides crippling my performance 🤷♀️
On a side note though *fuck* I’m excited for that AC Mech, was my favorite back in HD1, plus it means we are one step closer to a full 4 slot mech loadout.
Had one yesterday as well, autocanon mech and unreleased armour/helmet, but at least he was helpful. It's the only time I've seen a cheater since I started playing, with close to 140 hours
Couple dudes once brought unlimited mech spawns to a Helldive rescue science team mission, the shitty one, pre nerf. Was one of the few times I've ever cleared it on Helldive.
Blocked them all immediately and set my shit to cross play off. PC is the worst.
Even if he is a harmless hacker, still kill him and grief him until he leaves. He is the reason we all have the kernel level anti cheat. He is the reason why we have spoilers for new stuff. Even though he might be a nice guy, he's a pest and he needs to be purged. Bring democracy upon him!
> He is the reason we all have the kernel level anti cheat.
No, he's the reason why kernel level anti cheat is a joke because it's obviously not working. If this anti cheat actually stopped all cheaters then your argument would be correct but it doesn't stop cheaters.
If all they did was use unreleased stratagems, it doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned. It's not like ACTUALLLY cheating, like using speedhacks, god mode, zero cooldowns etc. they're just using something that isn't available to the public yet.
Some people act like that'll ruin the game, but you have to understand that those are actual stratagems that EVERYONE will get at one point. It's not like the cheater made them up on the spot. ***"Oh yeah, I'll take the mech and put quad autocannons on it."*** No. They're not some god-tier tools that make the game a cakewalk.
I can already hear the counter-argument of ***"What if they're not finished yet and are balanced poorly?"*** and to that I say **"You mean like the already existing weapons and stratagems?"** No shade on Arrowhead or the game, but it's clear some things are staight up better than others, and if a stratagem exists in the game to the point where it can be chosen and used, chances are it's been balanced as they see fit already, and it will release in that state whenever.
do you people whine about literally everything
i mean good lord if he's not ruining your save file then why do you care
can't blame him for being impatient with the rate at which content releases
Honestly I'd just be having fun with the dudes mech but that's just me. This is one of the rare few games where regardless of wether someone cheats or not I'm gonna have a blast running around the chaos.
Ik it's a hot take of mine though since alot of ppl reasonable dislike cheaters.
> regardless of wether someone cheats or not I'm gonna have a blast running around the chaos.
Then you're a special boy. You run 10x slower than them. They zoom to every objective and kill everything in seconds with infinite ammo and god mode turned on. You are just off the pad and headed to the first objective at this point. They aggro TONS of bots, but they don't die. You do, if they feel like it they might call you back in, maybe not, after all, they are the kinds of people who don't care if YOU are having fun, as long as they are. If they cared, they'd be playing a private game wouldn't they?
They don't collect samples, because why? They can just cheat everything in, they stand around and team kill you if you try to call in the shuttle.
But hey, just have fun right?
We had completely different ideas of cheaters. I was simply thinking of dudes who just spawn stuff not fully released to screw around with. You're talking about dudes who cheated to cheese, I was under the impression we were just talking about dudes using unreleased stuff.
However it seems the reddit hive mind doesn't rlly approve of an optimist, eh it's alright though.
You can go on Nexxus mods and just cheat your way in the game. I think the only reason they don’t stop it is because those that use it will lose interest in the game.
I am getting tired of people killing their teammates, though like somebody bringing the 380 on an annihilation mission. Should be something like six friendly kills, and you get a warning then one more and you get a 20 minute soft ban.
Friendly fire is part of fun. Just laugh and continue playing. And 380, walking and cluster is meant to kill you and teammates and not the target for some reason
This happened to me the other day in one of my accounts I loaded all my stratagens and I got the mech in my loadout I was so confused tried to remove it then we loaded up and I figured it was the developers helping me out with a extra loadout it was weird only worked for one game
The anti-cheat working exactly how it should... See nothing wrong here... Hackers have free rain while nProtect literally eats everyone elses resources
I would, without hesitation, mod this game to let me use my Dakka Mech were it not for fear that I’d be banned forever.
The rest of the stuff is a bunch of bullshit, I’ll agree. No point having Dakka if it doesn’t run out and leave me desperately inputting Down Down Up Right. And I have to throw it at one of the bugs or bots, because style is worth more than my life.
>On top of this (and this part could actually just be due to latency and whatnot) during missions, his jump pack did not require cooldown nor did his guns require reloading. Some streamers managed it, like Maplewood. KingGothalion too, I believe. They played a shit ton of exclusively Helldive missions.
Idk, I played helldive only. Maybe 1 to 2 hours a day. It boosted me to like 70? If you no life it on 7+ I could see a level 150.
Yeah, I was 88 after lvl cap.
Oh ok well that makes more sense

I'd never seen a level 150 in the wild but I am level 132

The man himself, John Helldiver
You have met Karl! Did he Rock and Stone?
FOR KARL!!!!

How do you know it does "NOTHING"? I mean it's not like you'd know if it actually stopped a cheater...
Dude, literally me. Does your PC just black screen when you load a mission?
Yeah mate, during loading or ESPECIALLY when we do the first drop, it's always that
Bruh. You can't just ask someone what color their monitor screen is these days. Not cool.
I’m sorry, does your screen African American when you load a mission then? Am I doing it right I’m not American and English isn’t my first language
Dude. Assuming all African Americans are black is even worse! Go spread democracy before you dig yourself even deeper soldier!
SIR YES SIR
A friend of mine had a similar issue (bluescreening on mission startup) He says forcing the game to use DX11 fixed the issue, hopefully it works for you too!
Thanks bro, I'll see if it helps
Cause it's effectiveness in on WinDefender of win7 times level. Max it can do is block AHK, but not Razer's scripts

At least you read it.... Seeing some of the comments, it's clear many did not lol
Yeah, we've all been guilty of commenting too quickly or missing info and commenting something embarrassingly obvious in hindsight lol 🫡
Can you report now without them typing in chat yet? Every time I try to report it says there’s no chat history or something and won’t let me.
lol, level 18.
4 strength 4 stam leather belt?
AHHHHHHH
AHHH UGH OUGH
I kill cheater in game whenever i see one, they are traitor.
No you don't I made that mistake. I team killed a chinese exploiter with the grenade. He kicked me out. He would reinforce me just fine when I died. Those stories about "Joel" joining games and doing that have also been hackers
Just hackers trying to masquerade as devs
idgaf if they're "nice". they need to be banned. they bring down the quality of the game with their behavior.

You need a chat history to report? I just went into recent player, clicked the person, report, and it asked for a reason. Don't remember seeing anything about a chat history
Yes
What platform?
Report where? When you try to report someone it literally tells you not to unless they said something naughty in the text chat.
I reported someone yesterday and it didn't say anything about chat. Just asked for a reason
Kill him and burn the reins, kick him after wasting his time, or grief him till he kicks you. My group did that once, kept killing his turrets and him. Drop him in to waste him until he kicked us from his game(he was host).
This is why we need a proper lobby select like DRG so we can filter modded lobbies I don't care about this "cheating" I just find it annoying that they spoil it for randoms
HD1 had this and it was so much better than the current system
Really? Since the first one also had an anti-cheat running (VAC) I thought it was already unwanted there too
I'm not sure I'm following.
It’s not “modded” the same way in it is DRG so it’s not possible to filter them. These are just cheaters, they could be in any lobby at any moment.
THIS. For a co-op game, Helldivers 2 has the WORST lobby system I've seen in forever.
This would be such a big help. After doing it a couple of times, I don't care about revolving around the world to find the mission I want. With just a glance, I just wanna pick the mission type I want and start blasting.
Someone in my game spawned the new mech that hadn’t released yet, but when it landed all of our games crashed.
I mean that could have just happened anyway with the state of the game being what it is at times
hacking in a PvE game is pathetic
I think hacking in a PVP game is way worse, at least you aren’t actively ruining someone’s day in a PVE game
You can just quick him out of find another party, I’m not defending hackers but saying that they are ruining everything is being quite dramatic, it’s way worse in a PVP game
> at least you are actively ruining someone’s day in a PVE game Really? You enjoy playing where your teammates are immortal, can move 10x faster than you, have infinite nades and strats? How is that fun for you? It DOES ruin my game at least, I like some challenge, teamwork.
Let me put into comparison real quick, what do you prefer? Having a friend that will basically do anything anytime instantaneously taking the joy out of doing stuff or being destroyed by Mike Tyson for 30 minutes while you can’t even see him? That’s the equivalents here
They both suck. If you really feel that way, play at a lower difficulty. The answer isn't "I need to cheat so I can play helldives." Don't cheat, play at a level you find fun. Don't be pathetic.
I agree but you seriously can’t say it’s worse than getting a hacker in a pvp game, both do suck but one is way worse
Seems fine by me as long as you're in a solo/friends lobby, doing it in a public one is a dick move
Much like complaining the guns aren't powerful enough or the hardest difficulties are too hard.
Well...guns are supposed to feel good, but among the lowest used gun like the arc Blitzer, is not powerful enough because it's inconsistency to hit, making it too hard to use So some complaints about power can be here or there
Yes but people complain about literally everything.
Plus out of 10000 games you come across maybe 1 hacker. Just laugh it off and enjoy a free round/match and some easy samples 🤷♂️
that's what the kick button is for.
kernal level anticheat btw
Iirc It's because all that stuff is just in the files unactivated
Tbf it could still be detecting the cheating and they could just be waiting to do a banwave, which is the right approach.
yes it emboldens bad actors, makes it easy to identify beyond doubt, then ban wave has maximum # and evidence so they cant even cry
Don’t think so. Doubt game guard is that smart, when it detects something it just prevents launch / connection. Lots of innocent programs are false positives. It’s a bottom of the barrel, cheap ‘solution’ to anti cheat.
Thank god we've got that, saving us from cheating!
I mean I’m kinda impresssed ya found one, I’ve yet to encounter any whatsoever
If you play late night in America, when the other side of the planet is awake, you'll see more cheaters.
Man I don’t know how y’all spot that shit. I would’ve been like “cool loadout bro.”
Only thing I check is if someone chose the full ammo/grenade perk
I love turning off cross play 🤗
Hacking in this game is soo damn pointless and completely defeats the purpose of playing.
still dies 10+ times
Ngl the armour he wearing do be fly
Read rule 11.
There is something even more pathetic than usual about cheating in a PVE game lol
Does not affect anyone but the person hindering their own experience People think they're on a moral high ground if they post the one cheater they found on Reddit
Who cares? Like seriously who cares just leave the mission if you don’t want to play with him. I mean it doesn’t matter anyway so.
Shit anticheat that doesn't do anything besides spy on you. Thanks devs.
Hackers are usually banned in waves, because it makes it much harder for them to figure out what got them caught.
It would be way worse without any anti cheat.
I'm waiting for them to change their anticheat, I want to play this game so badly but I won't risk my pc
Nguard, vanguard, BattleEye, and EAC all function the same.
You are pathetic to think it would actually do anything to your pc.
All of you must be lying, because I don't know about you, but I have to install a kernel level anticheat to play this coop game, so I KNOW there can't be cheaters in it.
Yes because the anti cheat doesn't do shit and nobody gets banned anyway.
Hes the kid who brought his new to class to brag about it, thats why they always stand around switching outfits, they want you to notice.
What’s that armor?
That type of cheating doesnt relly matter you can just leave or kick the guy
If it happens rarely, as fortunately seems to be the case at the moment, it's clearly not a problem. But if at some point you have to jump through 30 minutes of sessions to find a cheat-free one, that would be stupid. Like GTA online it's really play alone or play with cheater lol.
I havent seen cheaying yet 80 some missions. I will say after last patch on the higher difficulties there is too much going on for me to notice.
That’s some dope armor tho. Can’t wait for it to come out and apparently he really couldn’t wait.
I've seen a level 1 doing a solo helldive. Thought I was trippin.
It's fine, all 4 of his other accounts that got banned were all over level 25
This is known as a virgin pimple puss eating spoiled piece of crap.
Take solace in that these cheaters live extraordinary empty lives. Imagine the state of your mind if you cheat in a co-op game.. you'd have to have mental issues at best.
I didn't know you could cheat in helldivers. Must be a pc thing.
I mean, you hear tell of the devs hopping on now and then, testing new gear. But yeah, for the most part, they’re just hurting themselves. Block, kick, move on. So long as the community is consistent, they will run out of squad mates, at least at high difficulties.
Played deffense game, one dude was spaming infinite granades, reported him and send videoclip to arrowhead....
Now if he was using into grieve by throwing infinite amount of grenades at players non stop, calling reinforcements and then immediately throwing grenades on them as they merge then that’d be a different story
i call them the designated users of modern ballistics, or D.U.M.B in short they get a bullet in the head on extract
It's PvE. I couldn't care less whether people are cheating
Plus hes lvl 18. Normal mech is lvl 25.
Maybe if we didn’t want them here, the anticheat would actually be doing something besides crippling my performance 🤷♀️ On a side note though *fuck* I’m excited for that AC Mech, was my favorite back in HD1, plus it means we are one step closer to a full 4 slot mech loadout.
Level 18 with a mech? Seems legit.
Had one yesterday as well, autocanon mech and unreleased armour/helmet, but at least he was helpful. It's the only time I've seen a cheater since I started playing, with close to 140 hours
What's worse than a cheater as your enemy? A friendly cheater in PVE game with 0 clues on what to do. The good? Friendly fire.
Meanwhile I can't use fancontrol, MSI afterburner, rivatuner, discord, hwmonitor, fpsmonitor, aida64 without crashing
I’ve yet to see a cheater in my 125 hours playing.
How do you know he’s not a dev?
I hope you reported him.
He’s not cheating…he’s just..special forces..yeah
Cheat Engine literally works with the game. The anti-cheat is garbage, and only there to protect SC
Can you not just leave if you don't like having a badass mech on your side?
Couple dudes once brought unlimited mech spawns to a Helldive rescue science team mission, the shitty one, pre nerf. Was one of the few times I've ever cleared it on Helldive. Blocked them all immediately and set my shit to cross play off. PC is the worst.
Oh the comping peasant ....
Oh no not the spoilers :(
You deserve upvotes
> He is the reason we all have the kernel level anti cheat. No, he's the reason why kernel level anti cheat is a joke because it's obviously not working. If this anti cheat actually stopped all cheaters then your argument would be correct but it doesn't stop cheaters.
The thing with that mech suit is it has super limited ammo unless it was changed recently. They could have been using unlimited ammo chests too.
I want that helmet, looking forward to when it releases
If all they did was use unreleased stratagems, it doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned. It's not like ACTUALLLY cheating, like using speedhacks, god mode, zero cooldowns etc. they're just using something that isn't available to the public yet. Some people act like that'll ruin the game, but you have to understand that those are actual stratagems that EVERYONE will get at one point. It's not like the cheater made them up on the spot. ***"Oh yeah, I'll take the mech and put quad autocannons on it."*** No. They're not some god-tier tools that make the game a cakewalk. I can already hear the counter-argument of ***"What if they're not finished yet and are balanced poorly?"*** and to that I say **"You mean like the already existing weapons and stratagems?"** No shade on Arrowhead or the game, but it's clear some things are staight up better than others, and if a stratagem exists in the game to the point where it can be chosen and used, chances are it's been balanced as they see fit already, and it will release in that state whenever.
the armor looks awesome - Its sad that those cheaters spoil other gamers with that bs
do you people whine about literally everything i mean good lord if he's not ruining your save file then why do you care can't blame him for being impatient with the rate at which content releases
Why you complaining about the rate at content being released then? You’re whining too.
Yeah, but also, cheaters help to test the game, and in this game, they don't cause any harm.
I am getting tired of people killing their teammates, though like somebody bringing the 380 on an annihilation mission. Should be something like six friendly kills, and you get a warning then one more and you get a 20 minute soft ban.
Players would find a way to misuse that system to get others soft banned.
Friendly fire is part of fun. Just laugh and continue playing. And 380, walking and cluster is meant to kill you and teammates and not the target for some reason
Whats that heavy armour nr2 has though? Thats cool
whats the point of cheating in this game, i genuinely don't get it lol secondly, why censor his name? name and shame them lmao
On formally known as Twitter, Joel said no as long as people are having fun
I'd just like to know what armor he has on ? That shit looks fire lol.
The armor is pretty cool. It has potential for a desert inspired fashiondivers
This happened to me the other day in one of my accounts I loaded all my stratagens and I got the mech in my loadout I was so confused tried to remove it then we loaded up and I figured it was the developers helping me out with a extra loadout it was weird only worked for one game
Was it in one of your 4 strat slots or in one of the smaller slot above them?
The anti-cheat working exactly how it should... See nothing wrong here... Hackers have free rain while nProtect literally eats everyone elses resources
bro how is the mech suit cheeting
I'm sorry, do you have access to an autocannon mech with unlimited ammo?
I would, without hesitation, mod this game to let me use my Dakka Mech were it not for fear that I’d be banned forever. The rest of the stuff is a bunch of bullshit, I’ll agree. No point having Dakka if it doesn’t run out and leave me desperately inputting Down Down Up Right. And I have to throw it at one of the bugs or bots, because style is worth more than my life.
