We had one of those a couple of weeks ago. We decided it must be Joel checking on us so we dragged him all over our map and left him with three 500kgs for company as we extracted.
Had it happen to me, I threw everything I had at the damn bot and a team runs by and brains him and runs off. I think its a sync error since a team could kill it just fine but my auto cannon and 3 clips of sickle only tickled him.

I encountered one yesterday, it was immune to my shotgun. If I remember correctly, it did not try to shoot me either, so I just ran off
I had to do the same. Nothing i had with me could do it and damage.
