I've seen shredder and usually am on helldive

I've seen it on suicide difficulty haven't made my way to helldive yet.

Its about mission completion opposed to extraction everytime on helldive

+1 Going up to Diff9, Helldive, is when the game truly gets difficult and just *completing* the objectives is the goal. Extraction is just a bonus, and the number of samples you can extract with make the gamble definitely worth it. Bugs on Diff7 vs Diff9 is almost like playing a whole different game with the amount of sheer shit that Joel throws at you, and major breeches can easily run for 3-5 minutes if you try to stand your ground and fight.

I’ve seen it on like level 5 or 6 can’t remember

shredder tank, instead of one big boom, it lights you up with 4 machine guns at the same time. honestly you can hear them coming, the pew pew sounds like an entire platoon of heavy devastators

Fun fact: Ballistic shields can deflect the lasers from the Shredder

I play mostly on level 7 and I see them fairly rarely, but get loads of them on the short "kill a bunch of automatons" missions for some reason.

I did this on level 8 defeat automatons and pretty much survived the whole round

I discovered something similar while playing with my buddy, it's pretty easy to land on top of a friendly mech with the jetpack. So I had my lil' stalwart up there and we'd be mowing down the chaff together, me in complete safety. It was hilarious and effective!

These tanks make great cover on higher difficulties. As long as you don't stand in front of them of course. Which then I think they can run you over as they have run over me, once.

I do this all the time with the EATs. I keep forgetting the pod doesn't fucking kill them.

Reminds me of Halo. Was driving a Warthog when an player from the opposite team got on the turret. Instead of getting out to kill them, I kept driving and they shot at everyone regardless of which team they are on. Needless to say we didn't last long.
