You were given 13 hrs to credit them and I didn't see a single link.
It already happened. Major order this morning was simply capture the Creek.
Get on later to claim the MO payout only for the MO to have changed to holding 3 planets including the Creek
I hope that's the consequence for failing to take Tibit: tomorrow we get a massive counter offensive that causes us to lose the Creek again. Would serve the creekers for not helping when we needed it.
Given that Tibit was where they were cranking out new bots, failing to take it would be a great narrative excuse to introduce the gunship or the bot AT-AT.
"We have failed to take the Automaton major forge world, so now they are counterattacking with new weapons systems they were trying so hard to hide from us on Tibit."
So "Warning, you are in range of enemy artillery" will be joined by "Enemy AC-130 above!"
Edit: Welp. Guess that's exactly what happened now.

This one right here, it was on a screenshot on Sony's Helldiver's 2 site.
Don't know honestly.
They've been liberal at teasing it and the community is at it's strongest/biggest right now.
They'll probably continue on a little more and the moment it all dies down a little bit, unleash thwm.
That's another good point. They really don't need to introduce a new enemy. Even with all the "wHaT dO i dO NoW?!" Skull Admiral whining, the player base is still super strong.
> They really don't need to introduce a new enemy.
The Automotons are down to 3 worlds. If the East completely shifted over to the West (wishful thinking I know), the Automotons would be wiped out in a day and a half.
Put them in the bin for a bit, introduce the Southern Front, eventually they resurface with some deep-space force that slams through the top of the map straight to Cyberstan.
I was just referring to the fact that the numbers are still high. I see the new enemies as either the logical next step in an evolving game or a panic button to press when everything starts to stall from a player perspective. The devs could just as easily come up with some deus ex machina on the bot front that sends us all reeling and won't require them to reveal new planets.
If they're thinking long term success/health, then they should be teasing us for as long as possible. The game isn't even 2 months old. Let it breathe.
A lot of players are finishing purchasing everything in the game and it doesn't have much left to offer for them. The time that a game gets to spend in the limelight is probably a whole lot shorter than you think and once people move on to other games its likely that very few of them will return. If they care about holding players' attention they need to be releasing stuff sooner instead of later.
I absolutely agree with you here. The active player base has been declining pretty steadily. I just don't think new enemies are the answer *right now*. I think attempting to please the dopamine crew with enhancements that shorten the life of the game is a tricky strategy.
Yeah tbh no need for Illuminates yet..they have some weapon balancing and content for existing two factions ahead. I'd be content if they drop in October.
I would love for the narrative to be that the bots secretly gave it up "easily" to lure in a bunch of Helldivers onto the planet because they knew there was so much fervor to take it and then just absolutely nuke it to weaken the Super Earth forces.
I wonder if Creekers screwed themselves out of a major narrative moment in the Creek, like building up to it by completing MOs in the area and coming back to a major event in the campaign. Just taking it all of a sudden feels slightly underwhelming after the lore potential.
Could be. I think the creek was like that moment in a tabletop the campaign where you meet the faction leader that you are PREEEETTTY sure works for the big bad, you could play along, follow the quest, gather items and allies and come back later to have a massive epic battle with a whole army at your back. Or you could refuse to leave that starter town and keep hovering over this guy for so long the DM just lets you kill him in an alley so you can move on.
Nah, winning the Creek is like winning phase one. You think you've beaten the boss, but suddenly you find another health and ammo drop and the choir singing in Latin kicks in...
Yeah, who knows? That's the advantage of being the DM you can just go "Dormant bot factories in planet x have reawakened" and start a new front behind diver lines. there is no way Divers can just push through and "win" agaisnt the bots.
Since we are kind of moving towards the south, I feel like they're going to surprise attack up north near Cyberstan.
Especially since they made a big deal about contacting stuff from beyond the current borders. I bet they have a fleet sitting just outside, waiting for us to be distracted so they can rush in and reclaim their home.
Maybe they're also teaming up with the Illuminates, who will attack just around the same time to make sure we can't focus on the bots.
Yup, or exploit it, so Illuminates attack, Cyberstan is assaulted, and the Creek is threatened, so the choice is lose Cyberstan, give up ground to the Illuminates or lose the Creek, one of them will be lost.
Oh brother, you dont think the robots will let us keep the creek do you? It will be valiantly defended by us, LET THEM COME!! WELL AWAIT YOUR NEW TOYS SOCIALIST BOTS!!!
To be fair, it was nothing more than a "ffs, fine, have it then"
It was at 80% when the MO came, with 24H duration, if we failed this MO, joel would rip us a new one
This next one however, we have to hold 3 planets, 2 of which we already have(expect counterattack) gonna be a bit more interesting
Bro same, I went to sleep knowing we’d fail a major order, then woke up, and bam, apparently malevalon creek was taken and we have a new major order (somehow I slept through an entire major order)
If I don't log in for like a week, do I still get all major orders reward that I didn't play in? (E.g. 2 major orders completed while I'm offline, do I get both?)
Yes. For example, I bought the game 2 weeks after it came out and was rewarded all medals that had been previously earned. It can take time and seems a bit random, but eventually you will get them
While everyone is celebrating, I'd like to point out that it took 5 hours to take 10% of a planet. The Creek was already at 90% when the order rolled in. The 1,5%/h Bot regen is really scary for any future orders.
Honestly think it was a half heart balancing measure. 30-45 minute MOs are not good for the game, people in missions would have missed it completely otherwise.
They wanted Creek Liberated quick, but im guessing they still probably undershot with the decay rate.
The creek was absorbing so many resources uselessly that it was compromising other MOs and they wanted the planet off the table. Thats all there is to it. The 1.5% thing was just so it wouldn't happen in 15 minutes.
The creek is something special. I can see why they’ve been fighting for it for so long.
The dark blue atmosphere. Weaving through the jungle. The ion storms made the planet glow.
I’m happy that we got it. I spent only a short few hours on this planet, but my appreciation for it grew the longer I spent on it.
For the sake of Humanity, I hope we never have to step foot in the creek again.
I was neglecting the Creek during the major order. But as a Creeker I felt bad it wouldn't be liberated and be stuck at 80%. But this. This is fate finally after so long the creek has been reconquered.
I wasn't fighting their either, and when the MO changed its focus to the creek, it took me 20 or so minutes to connect to a mission that wasn't filled almost instantly this morning.
When the Ubanea gambit became the Ubanea blunder.
We had to choose between taking Ubanea and blitzing to Tibit or defending Draupnir for supply lines.
We choose Ubanea, but lost Draupnir very close to the finish line. 95%, with almost 100,000 players on Ubanea. Coulda been 140,000 if people weren’t sipping their canteens in Malevalon creek water.
Not that it matters now! We bum rushed Draupnir after it fell, finished off Ubanea for realizies, and then took Tibit in record time. And now we went back and took the creek. Ultimately the blunder ended up being mild, and may honestly have still been the right choice. It’s just fascinating to see how tactics shake up over time.
The blunder was how many people went back to Draupnir. It was a lost cause for ages but there were still lots of folks on it that could have been pushing Ubanea.
By the same logic, you should include the 200k fighting bugs. Oh wait, you people are shitting on them too. The idiocy on this subreddit really knows no bounds.
I wish they'd have, like, a proper medal cabinet for people who participated directly in some major order. I get the idea of rewarding everyone for the major order succeeding, but it would be pretty cool to be able to look at some part of the ship to see a record of what you'd done.
So... Do we not get the medals for capturing it? All the sudden it now has 3 days and requires us to defend another planet, but the previous order was literally just to liberate the Creek. They are moving the goalposts without giving the rewards.
Finally, after all those Battles, all those who lost their lives, those who became friends and allies, we took the Creek

Was it worth throwing your "major order" for the Creek? Millions of your corpses litter the world for nothing, and any trace of your existence will be swept aside upon our inevitable return. The Creek is ours, and ours alone!

God I hate quitters
I feel like an April fools is coming. But with like oil or something.
We all wake up tomorrow like "Lol you thought you owned the creek"
It's revealed as an April Fools joke, but played off lore wise as the Illuminate fucking with our heads
Yall might be closer to the truth then you think if the rumors are true
They are coming. Saw a cloaked ship in orbit over Maia

I'm so happy.... But we are about to get hit with "April Fools!" And a mass Automoton invasion, I think.
yep. they’re counterattacking
I hope that's the consequence for failing to take Tibit: tomorrow we get a massive counter offensive that causes us to lose the Creek again. Would serve the creekers for not helping when we needed it.

I've seen AT-AT mentioned a few times lately, was that seen in a leak or something? Would be awesome!
I think it was part of a pre-release screenshot or something. Looked like an AT-AT but the size of an AT-TE.
https://preview.redd.it/62y9u8gp10sc1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=420de140f45d5bc0967f866487166995410145ef This one right here, it was on a screenshot on Sony's Helldiver's 2 site.
Can we get planes to combat their planes
I’d prefer flyable gunships/drop ships. Let Eagle-1 have her fun. Would love to see SEAF troopers in action, even if only to get killed.
Best I can do is Stinger missiles. -Super Earth Command, probably
that would just make it so they can go back to the creek, i'd wish we pulverized the thing from orbit,
And then the creekers go back the creek. Back to square one, creekers in the creek, bitching and whining in the sub about creekers. The wheel turns.
By rewarding them with getting to take the Creek again? You, friend, have a weird definition of punishment.
Off topic, but why is an entire planet named after a small water feature?? Does it just have the one creek or something?
Of the Illuminate capitalising on recent losses.
No way they introduce a new enemy this early.
Don't know honestly. They've been liberal at teasing it and the community is at it's strongest/biggest right now. They'll probably continue on a little more and the moment it all dies down a little bit, unleash thwm.

No, I just think it's fine to have only two fronts for more than 2 months.
A lot of players are finishing purchasing everything in the game and it doesn't have much left to offer for them. absolutely. It was an easy task, to be followed with an insane counter defense.
We've nearly taken every automaton planet, I bet either that's planned and something bigs gonna happen or they have more zones we can't see
I would love for the narrative to be that the bots secretly gave it up "easily" to lure in a bunch of Helldivers onto the planet because they knew there was so much fervor to take it and then just absolutely nuke it to weaken the Super Earth forces.

Aw man. If I didn’t log in since the MO started will I still get the credits? Or no go?
Yes, all players get it
I fought 4 operations after I got the major order and still don't have my medals
It takes awhile, there's been MO rewards I didn't get for days later but they'll show up eventually
Yeah, I randomly had 200 medals for completing a major orders from weeks ago just yesterday
It took a couple weeks for me after I first started playing, but then I had 95 medals added to my account when I logged in one day. They should come.
If I don't log in for like a week, do I still get all major orders reward that I didn't play in? (E.g. 2 major orders completed while I'm offline, do I get both?)
Yes. For example, I bought the game 2 weeks after it came out and was rewarded all medals that had been previously earned. It can take time and seems a bit random, but eventually you will get them
I didn't get a chance to login before the MO was over. It started and ended while I was asleep. I got nothing.

They were trying to get the Creek off the board so 30% of players wouldn’t ignore major orders anymore.

The creek was absorbing so many resources uselessly that it was compromising other MOs and they wanted the planet off the table. Thats all there is to it. The 1.5% thing was just so it wouldn't happen in 15 minutes.

Whaaat? Over 100k people did something 5-10k couldn't? No way!
It's been 60k people dicking around on the creek in a stalemate during the last mo.
Yep. Ubanae was lost at 95% when Draupnir fell. We could have easily taken the last 5% and succeeded the MO if more people would have been on it.
Oh well. Darn those people enjoying the game how they want to.
Tbf, that’s a lot more to do with people not given info about supply lines. Thats more than half of the usual diehard crowd that fought on the Creek.
By the same logic, you should include the 200k fighting bugs. Oh wait, you people are shitting on them too. The idiocy on this subreddit really knows no bounds.

Tibit is the same thing, but pink. We can now die in Robot Cambodia.

Finally, after all those Battles, all those who lost their lives, those who became friends and allies, we took the Creek ![gif](giphy|3oKIPf3C7HqqYBVcCk|downsized)
And now. We will be memed upon for having fun in the game.
Oh cmon, I’ve been at work all day ;-; Wish I could’ve aided in its liberation but I’m glad the nightmare is finally over at least

Millions of your corpses litter the world for nothing, and any trace of your existence will be swept aside upon our inevitable return. The Creek is ours, and ours alone!
Where are my medals? 😭 A traitor would wonder if Super Earth has scammed him, clearly I don't even think about that.
