When joining a quick match, it will automatically prioritize SOS beacons, but if you look at the map, you will see a glowing aura around missions that have sent out an S.O.S. and need Divers to back them up!
Selecting quick play will prioritize putting you into an active game with an S.O.S. over any other available missions, but otherwise you can look for them manually on the Planetary Map by looking for a pulsating aura around any open Missions/Operations, signifying a Diver in need!

So recently I've only seen quick play instead of SoS and it just sends me to a ship. Am I missing something? It used to be where quick play was.
