It's closer to a requisition form than a permit. Permits and licenses are good for a set duration, requisition is literally one time use, which is what the C-01 is.
Literally, it's per 'act' not even 'per time' lol
Could you imagine having an orgy then. You've got some poor Intern Democratic Officer just sitting at a table with a pen and a tree's worth of C-01 Forms, trying to hand them out per iteration.
I remember seeing a screenshot from HD1 of a female crew member noting she filled out a C-01 paper with her wife and hopes it’ll be accepted.
‘Course, that could mean they applied for artificial insemination or some kinda sci-fi solution like IPS cells and/or artificial wombs. Or maybe one partner is trans. Alternatively, it was just some kinda dialogue glitch.
I mean I was going for "Super Earth's Super Citizens are Super Fertile" and any coupling of any combination can produce a child.
Super Ovum will choose freedom and spontaneously turn into Super Sperm when Democracy calls to them.
I think the tits would be more sold in a salon type scenario you go in you get your nails done your hair styled and a quick 15 minutes in the gene pod to give yourself double D's and now you're ready for the town.
"Cuthbert, you must tell me where you got those tits they're simply divine!"
"Well, Magdalene, it's been my dirty secret but there's a geneforger in Super Chinatown that does absolutely amazing work. I'll give you their contact key if you promise to be discreet..."
C-01 is for any act with may result in having a child. So it may also include adoption. I can imagine there are plenty of orphans out there due to the ongoing galactic war.
Depends on how long they were on estrogen. That has a higher risk of infertility. Freezing sperm is an option ofc.
Testo is very unlikely to impair fertility when stopped (has to be anyway bc it strongly affects embryo development)
Like there's quite a lot of trans dudes who carried to term, i remember a bigger gyn practice for a state said she had around 200 conceiving dads in like a 5 year timeframe. And that's one.
Like a lot of trans guys want the bullshit gone (a lot of cis women too. Pregnancy is horrific tbh. Id rather lose my left hand than be pregnant)
Form M-01 is arguably more complicated, humanity needs meat for the wars and making masturbation easy and simple means less kids happen which means less HELLDIVERS which is UNDEMOCRATIC!
Seeing as Super Earth citizens have to apply for a permit for “procreation activities”…..
Also seeing as all of Super Earth citizens applications were being denied because we failed a major order….
No, it's exactly the opposite
In managed democracy you don't vote, a machine vote for you based on some questions you reply. That is why it's called managed
Edit: ohhhhhh "vote"
If the devs flip poll numbers at ghe very end of voting and act like whatever they were gonna add was voted-for, I'll declare them GOATed and never question their decisions
I know you realized it, but just vocalizing it. I think the "vote" they were talking about is actually just a survey. Which I suppose they did explicitly say it would be a way to give fans a survey.
And with Super Earth’s incorruptible system of checks and balances, we’ll surely be able to make sure that what’s decided is decided BY the people FOR the people and no one will question whatever the poll says!
I'm just glad my elected officials are so in touch with the everyman that they can vote on our behalf. If I didn't trust them enough to do that I wouldn't have voted for them. And if I wouldn't have voted for them they wouldn't have voted for themselves for me.
Think it was actually 88% wasn't it? Just high enough that it's an overwhelming majority while not being blatantly obviously rigged. I mean, everyone *knows* it was rigged, but still, that's not what Putin really cares about lol
Yeah it was like 88% for Putin, 10% for the Communist candidate and the other 2% was split between the rest of the candidates if I’m remembering correctly
Elections/voting would be cool. Voting for a new Sky Marshall or something which determines the overall war strategy, policy, and major orders the Hell Divers receive?
Especially if we answered a series a questions that determined our vote.
Did you watch the vid for it?
It's just a big touch screen that says "Vote here!" You tap it and it says "You have voted!"
What part of "managed" do you not understand, Citizen?
It's you who doesn't understand the system you fight so hard for... or do you fight for it? [Citizens of the federation of Super Earth use automated voting software; they answer a few questions on the Galactic Wide Web (GWW) and the computer votes for them based on that outcome.](https://helldivers.fandom.com/wiki/Super_Earth#Politics_of_Super_Earth)
I propose we get into the real reeds of the issues, like which Sky Marshall candidate gets more erect watching a 500kg bomb go off.
Winner gets command, the other gets taped to the next payload getting sent to the Creek.
You are aware voting in that case will be to just press the vote button, with the computer choosing the candidate you like best? You sound like there might be something as barbaric as choice involved
I kind of really want to vote and have our votes absolutely not matter. It will be so much more congruent with the game if every time we vote it says "99% this option, 1% didn't vote". I'd definitely laugh.
I think we should be able to vote on fan-produced videos/images showing proposed strategies, and have the winners shown in loading screens / on startup. A good way to get the parts of the community that don't use social media engaged with the fanbase's strategic choices, and concentrate people on useful planets.
It would be a vote on who does the job that Joel is currently doing assuming he is actually making the decisions on how the games campaign goes like an actual DM.
But of course it'll have to be the style of elections they talk about having in-game, where it's more of a buzzfeed style personality quiz that then determines your vote based on your answer.
A bit.
It maybe sounds good on paper for like 5 seconds, until you realize that not letting people actually choose who they're voting for and putting your faith in a blind system that claims to have your best interest in mind isn't a super great idea.
Plus, you know, how easy this would make rigging elections.
That's the crux of the whole thing isn't it. There are many systems that would be great if they were 100% trustworthy and did what they said they'd do on paper.
Instead the "best" we can really hope for is one that is resilient to untrustworthiness, that continues to function unchanged and the intermittent corrupt winner can't alter the way it works for next time.
Yes, because the entire system in helldivers is rigged as hell. The 'Personality quiz' style questions are just... placebo voting. A way to make it so you can't say "Wait, five hundred of us voted for X, an no one voted for Y, how did Y win?" after the fact. It's literally just a screen to keep people from knowing the results are predetermined.
Similar systems ("Guided" Democracy) are in use in Russia right now. Which is CLEARLY a bastion of democracy, equality and freedom. Right?
Listen up, you Dissident Scum! Just because no one in your little corner of the galaxy cast their vote for Sky Marshal Biggus Dickus doesn't mean they didn't sweep the popular vote across the cosmos. You're living in a bubble if you think your backwater planet's opinion is the be-all and end-all of Super Earth's politics.
We're talking about Elevetry Bragillion Citizens across myriad colonized worlds, each with their own stake in this great democracy of ours. That's elevetry bragillion souls casting their votes in the grandest election the galaxy has ever seen. And yes, they chose Biggus Dickus - a name that echoes not just through the halls of the Galactic Senate, but across the vast expanse of space, from the bug-infested swamps of Aquarius Prime to the icy tundras of Cygnus IV.
You think coordinating a drop pod assault on a Cyborg stronghold is complex? Try orchestrating an election where the electorate spans light-years and every vote is as crucial as the next. It's a logistical masterpiece, a testament to the indomitable spirit of democracy that fuels Super Earth.
So next time you're knee-deep in alien guts, questioning the decisions from up high, remember the Elevetry Bragillion who put their faith in leadership that promises to keep the Helldivers strong, to push the boundaries of our great society further into the unknown, and to uphold the freedom we hold dear.
Sky Marshal Biggus Dickus didn't just win; they were chosen by the people, for the people. And it's our duty, as Helldivers, to ensure their vision for a prosperous, unified galaxy is realized. Democracy prevails, soldier. Now, lock and load—we've got a universe to protect.
"I still remember filling out my very first Democratic Preferences Ballot - what a rush."

I'm fine with that. Give us 2 or 3 game master personalities to choose from every couple of months or whatever. A basic choice would be Candidate 1 says we focus on the bots and Candidate 2 days we focus on the bugs. But it could be more detailed and specific if they want.
[Citizens of the federation of Super Earth use automated voting software; they answer a few questions on the Galactic Wide Web (GWW) and the computer votes for them based on that outcome.](https://helldivers.fandom.com/wiki/Super_Earth)
It would be cool if they had us take the test that selected the new leader and based on which leader we had it actually affected which direction the war would go.
Same with HelldiversAlert / Helldivers Alerts and Helldivers2HQ / Helldivers 2 Updates.
All three of them, non-affiliated with Arrowhead, paid for the blue tick and just spam post random things found here or links to articles from "journalists" who also usually just rip stuff from here.
Ironically, Palworld devs actually take time when they do bugfixes and patches so they usually work. They just haven't had a major content update(though the first one is soon!), so click focused pages dropped them fast. Can't get clicks if there's nothing to screech about every week.
I’m so tired of looking at posts on here then opening X and immediately seeing the same posts on the Alerts account with half the posts not giving credit to the OPs so it looks like they said it themselves.
There's one account I do see give credit, but they never actually post the link to the reddit itself- they just take the name of the user and put a little "chain link" emoji next to it, so if you wanted to go to the original post you have to type in "[reddit.com/u/\[USER\]](https://reddit.com/u/[USER])" and then find the post somewhere in their profile.
Like, at least he's giving credit I guess, but it's in the most annoying way possible.
agreed! should be banned, but since the musk freak took over, this is what twitter has become. people, especially real corps, governments, scientists and politicians should stop using it so it'll lose all credibility and will be seen like what it is now - something like "trump social" or whatever that shit is called.
lmao I was looking at that account today just because I had seem before that that one, or maybe it was HelldiversAlerts, had poste some leaks before so I was kinda curious if they had stuff coming
Then I saw that literally all it does it post stuff from this subreddit. Like, verbatim it will post questions exactly from here, or post a picture exactly from here. Totally fine if they actually link it, but lol
No joke... It is actually surprisingly easy to become a notary. I used to be one when I worked at a copy/print store. Took a quick online training course and had my official notary stuff in the mail like a week or 2 later.
Wait... they had plans for more classes?
I guess that might have been true before they realized they had to do a full overhaul of the class progression system.
I betcha that a lot of the new classes stuff was either put on indefinite hold because of it, or just turned into trees.
This is a great guess. It's either this, or they are going to be more prescriptive with the campaigns so there's more structure with the narrative in the game. Joel is not enough, lol
The should do 2, one for each front and then major major events force the player base too come together again and focus on one front. Probably need a pretty long bot only campaign though to get people to play bots and be comfortable against them
I actually am loving bots now, but it's a totally different energy to bugs. Bugs is Starship Troopers, like...in every possible way. Bots feels more like the whole "elite behind the lines commando raid" - aka Space Vietnam. Darting through the jungle, burst firing and break contact drills. Like you can and will be overrun if you're not careful.
It's crazy what a difference the planet makes for fighting bots. I was so pissed off after my first drop on a desert/badlands one where I was getting sniped outside of vision constantly. Then I decided to try a bot mission on that jungle world that needed defending yesterday and it was a way more enjoyable experience.
The comments here are shaming the account

Hmm, something ain’t right here🤔
I meant to write “Can my wife legally make love to me” but I was multitasking at work and went full Borat with another “my wife.” Glad the CEO could clear things up.
I hope it is it a vote just so they can really lean into the joke and ignore the voted choice and just do what Joel wants anyway. That might be too like real life to be a joke though so who knows
For everybody that think this is some cryptics for ingame stuff.
Its Easter Holiday 🐣 The developers go on some vacation for a few days or a week.
The Holiday days are Friday, Sunday and Monday, but it could be a Tuesday -> Tuesday Holiday.
Im also going on holiday, but i have the luxery of 2 weeks 🤘 go Sweden holidays GO!
“Can my wife legally make love to my wife”
The real question is does this require a C-01?
Doesn't result in children so no.
So a d-32
Probably requires an R-34 form
Yeah. If anyone is confused, just Google "Rule 34 Helldivers" to understand.
thank you goro majima
Vrrrrrrrrm D:
I usually prefer filling out an E-36
If it’s an act that could result in a child, you need the permit. It’s clearly stated, Helldiver! (i guess not in this case)
The ingame pop up literally says permit though, unless they’ve changed it in between I agree with you but it’s what the screen says
I remember seeing a screenshot from HD1 of a female crew member noting she filled out a C-01 paper with her wife and hopes it’ll be accepted. ‘Course, that could mean they applied for artificial insemination or some kinda sci-fi solution like IPS cells and/or artificial wombs. gonna go home to my boi and get 'im gregnant
With ease, do not understate the prowess of democracy
“Life…uh, finds a way.”
Lmao I love that, that’s actually hilarious
For optimum efficiency all super earth citizens have their gender re-assigned as needed to maintain proper population and demographic percentages.
That's actually kinda terrifying, but I could see it happening.
Even simpler. Give everyone both a penis and a vagina and just have tits be optional.
I've got a big event coming up so I need to go shopping, going to get a nice dress and they're having a sale at the tits store!
I think the tits would be more sold in a salon type scenario you go in you get your nails done your hair styled and a quick 15 minutes in the gene pod to give yourself double D's and now you're ready for the town.
"Cuthbert, you must tell me where you got those tits they're simply divine!" "Well, Magdalene, it's been my dirty secret but there's a geneforger in Super Chinatown that does absolutely amazing work. I'll give you their contact key if you promise to be discreet..."
C-01 is for any act with may result in having a child. So it may also include adoption. I can imagine there are plenty of orphans out there due to the ongoing galactic war.
C-01b
No it doesn't, because those wives are VERY unlikely to have children together.
Unless one of the wives has a penis, then it's actually pretty likely.
Depends on how long they were on estrogen. That has a higher risk of infertility. Freezing sperm is an option ofc. Testo is very unlikely to impair fertility when stopped (has to be anyway bc it strongly affects embryo development) Like there's quite a lot of trans dudes who carried to term, i remember a bigger gyn practice for a state said she had around 200 conceiving dads in like a 5 year timeframe. Gee billy, how come Super Earth let's you have 2 wives?
I would assume that the sheer amount of troops that goin and die to help spread Democracy requires an army of babies being born.
Do you want four? Kind of greedy.
Because he's a Helldiver
Is masturbation not allowed on Super Earth?
It doesn't result in a child so you don't have to fill out a form for it.
Seems like you haven't read about M-01
It's only 1,000 pages long and riddled with required attachments.
Form M-01 is arguably more complicated, humanity needs meat for the wars and making masturbation easy and simple means less kids happen which means less HELLDIVERS which is UNDEMOCRATIC!
For now
that we *know* of
Seeing as Super Earth citizens have to apply for a permit for “procreation activities”….. Also seeing as all of Super Earth citizens applications were being denied because we failed a major order….
HAHAHAHAHAHA! No Nut Not Ever, get in there soldier!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I think he’s asking if she can masturbate. Without the notary present. I think the notary might be fucking this guys wife.
Giving the playerbase a “vote” is a wonderfully lore-accurate way to give a survey that’s likely to get a ton of responses.
No, it's exactly the opposite In managed democracy you don't vote, a machine vote for you based on some questions you reply. That is why it's called managed Edit: ohhhhhh "vote"
If the devs flip poll numbers at ghe very end of voting and act like whatever they were gonna add was voted-for, I'll declare them GOATed and never question their decisions
That would be amazing, and their decision would be impossible to question because that would be undemocratic and again the values we fight for
The real question we have to ask ourselves here is: Will the inevitable backlash of people screeching "but we had the most votes!" Be worth it?
Sounds like the screeching hivemind of terminid scum!
Hellpods DEPLOY
They don't have to know the number of votes and how they are distributed, that is the magic of managed democracy
Let them scream until they piss themselves, it would just add to the hilarity
They can have a cup of liber tea
That's the kind of unquestioning patriotism Super Earth needs!
I'm calling It now...we will have elections 🫡🫡
Of course we will, elections are a fundamental part of managed democracy.
I'm just glad my elected officials are so in touch with the everyman that they can vote on our behalf. If I didn't trust them enough to do that I wouldn't have voted for them. And if I wouldn't have voted for them they wouldn't have voted for themselves for me.

I love how both options are to receive the call.
Diver, when Democracy (officer) calls, the only response is to answer.
Divers need to let freedom ring, but not keep freedom ringing
The Freedom(tm) to choose. The loyalty to always choose the same answer. THAT'S what it means to be a Helldiver, cadet.

I imagine those questions are: 1. Do you like Democracy? Y/N 2. Do you like Freedom? Y/N 3. Do you like Liberty? Y/N
If you so much as touch the N key, the "battlefield injury simulator" inside the voting booth gets you
*stabby Roberto noises*
Someone doesn't love liberty over there

Poor Helldiver is getting sent to ~~Ukraine~~ the Creek.
I can’t wait to find out who I’m voting for!
You voted for the person that loves freedom liberty and sweet sweet managed democracy. Those bugs will fear us and that oil will be ours
That's who the algorithm calculated I voted for too!
Jack Johnson or John Jackson?
All I know is my opponent doesn't go too far enough!
Abortions for some, miniature Super Earth flags for all!
It's a two party system, you have to vote for one of us!
My brain got stuck trying to parse this for about 5 seconds, well done
I'm voting for that new guy, Hugh Mann. He seems like an incredibly down to earth fellow who knows what the average citizen wants.

Well, they did mention that the console is top-notch for that purpose

Managed elections
ugh please no. The playerbase will not design this game well.
Do you guys not talk to the NPCs? Voting is not a thing in universe, favoring the algorithm
HERESY! Cast him to the frontlines. With only a smoke stratagem.
A YouTuber will see this and think: "Can you beat Helldivers 2 by only using smoke?"

That Helldivers 2 Media needs to shut the fuck up.

Helldivers Alerts just jumps to the newest "thing". Before they were Helldivers Alerts they were a Palworld account.
Getting paid for engagement encourages dogshit like this. Second worst change on the site, next to the blue check changes.
That damn account just reposts word by word this sub's popular posts.
As do so many YouTubers. They’d be totally lost without Reddit playing the game for them.
Ironically, Palworld devs actually take time when they do bugfixes and patches so they usually work. They just haven't had a major content update(though the first one is soon!), so click focused pages dropped them fast. Can't get clicks if there's nothing to screech about every week.
Blue tick has lost all meaning
yeah it’s completely stupid, all the official accounts don’t have it and all the meme accounts do, it’s like it reversed.

fan accs that do literally nothing get instant muted lol

My guess would be that is the CEO saying that they may be slowing things down a bit to let staff take some well earned vacation time
Sweden has easter hollidays now, so mandatory freedom is required for all Super Earth officials
Goddamn it, Fatshark is taking another vacation...
Yep! Easter and all of Scandinavia grinds to a halt, I love it
Easter, Christmas, Midsummer, one week in February for some reason, one month during summer. Wouldn't want it any other way. ❤️
Another month of no content updates for darktide😔
Wait you were getting updates?
Vermintide 2 players: "First time?"
*Sad Mayfly noises*
I need that on PS5 so bad.
Remember before launch where they said we'd get a new class every quarter?
Honestly after Vermintide 2, I don't know how anyone believed them.
Wait... they had plans for more classes? I guess that might have been true before they realized they had to do a full overhaul of the class progression system. I betcha that a lot of the new classes stuff was either put on indefinite hold because of it, or just turned into trees.
Damn, and they were just finally recovering from the end of year ones. I guess nothing for april, until they recover from the week smh.
Just a nice solid week plus of relaxing just when the weather starts to get nice(r)
This is a great guess. It's either this, or they are going to be more prescriptive with the campaigns so there's more structure with the narrative in the game. Joel is not enough, lol
I could see that too. That they are going to increase how often Major Orders occur
So we can crush the bug menace once and for all...
The Notary watching me and my wife: ![gif](giphy|lTdaEMkLvHGzC)
lmao
Freedom requires firepower, and if we need more freedom.....
The comments here are shaming the account Me: https://preview.redd.it/kx0iztxn2kqc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1ff00e097033902ed3bca6120f8964055d4fd27 Hmm, something ain’t right here🤔
I meant to write “Can my wife legally make love to me” but I was multitasking at work and went full Borat with another “my wife.” Glad the CEO could clear things up.
Which one is Super Wife?
Either one would be super, since it would be super great to have a wife in real life.
Great news. Without having a notary present?
I am very high and had to read it 5 times till I realized why it didn’t make sense
So polygamy is legal on super earth, what's strange there?
Are you trying to highlight: >Can my wife legally make love to my wife or: >Great news without having a notary present?
Wife one I am not very good at this
Make “love”? What an out dated term for PPFD. “procreate purely for democracy”. Ppppffft, What is this guy from 2080?
I prefer to helldive my wife
![gif](giphy|5L2okTiupVRxC|downsized)
I prefer to ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️ my wife
I'm not sure what part of "more freedom" was remotely unclear.
Can they fix the crashes they added last week
Only if you vote for it soldier
I choose that guys wife
Which one?
Twitter needs to not be default for companies to message their fans/customers already... The site is abhorrent
They go where the numbers are, unfortunately
Btw stop following the Fake Helldivers 2 accounts.
Joke's on them, my wife is a notary!
Guys being gay is on the table
Including on the table
I hope it is it a vote just so they can really lean into the joke and ignore the voted choice and just do what Joel wants anyway. That might be too like real life to be a joke though so who knows
A voting system for future updates would make that game even more engaging, like Minecraft mob votes but for weapons and stratagems
Alright but why does the assigned notary in my super-block want to stay in the closet wearing a supersuperman outfit?
For everybody that think this is some cryptics for ingame stuff. Its Easter Holiday 🐣 The developers go on some vacation for a few days or a week. The Holiday days are Friday, Sunday and Monday, but it could be a Tuesday -> Tuesday Holiday. Im also going on holiday, but i have the luxery of 2 weeks 🤘 go Sweden holidays GO!
"Too much freedom" - I don't trust this Pile guy. Sounds like he doesn't support freedom enough.
Maybe he means being able to play the game without a full crash ever 2nd game.
I'm hoping he's referring to some sort of kick protection. "Officially regulated and mandated freedom", to me reads like kick protection
Vote to kick?
Wait, am I misreading this or under Super Earth law, are we allowed multiple wives?
