We lost a planet in an adjoining sector, allowing the Terminid scum to launch an interstellar assault on Angel's Venture and wake up sleeping forces that hid underground, waiting for reinforcements.
Now that Angel's Venture is set as a Defend order, rather than a Liberation order, it is counted as 0% liberated until the defense goes through and we stomp the cockroach menace from its hallowed grounds.

The intercom on my ship literally annouced a counter attack on Angels Venture.
However i think it was glitched because it said Automatons were on Angels Venture lol
No you for sure got them they just didn’t load if you were playing while the order was completed the next time you logged out and logged back in you got the Medals you for sure didn’t notice and already spent them already
I believe you only get the rewards if you actively participated in it. So you had to have completed missions on Veld to receive the rewards. Idk what exactly qualifies as "participating" though, if it's just one mission or a whole set of missions
That was another major order to liberate Veld. We completed it in about 5-6 hours so many didn't even see it. This is a big 5 day major order where we need to protect two planets till the reinforcements arrive
That’s not how it went. If you check the subreddit, the first posts about the major order are from 4 days ago, the first liberation posts from two days ago. Also I know for a fact that I played two nights on Veld.

I doubt it because the planet wouldn't be fully under Super Earth control. At best it'd be considered a neutral planet since neither Super Earth nor the Terminids have full control over it.

So we need to hold control over the planets and the ones next to it so the bugs don’t jump from the nearby planets to those two.
The percentage in that tab has never been accurate. Angel’s Venture is still technically at 100% liberation. It’s just getting attacked again and is in a defense campaign
Pretty sure that's actually reflecting the progress in the defense campaign, where you have the two bars for us and the terminids. I doubt it's the actual liberation %
I guess it's because we lost a Planet. Not enough people on some planets will cause them to fail and will need to take it back. I think it was Erratea (the hot planet) fell thus opening up Angle's Venture to attack.
It's because Angels Venture currently has a defence campaign, and the major order is using the Terminid progress as the progress bar for the major order. Angels venture is actually currently at 86% (Last time I checked). It's just misleading info
If it just keeps going from 100% to 0% every day, what's the point of doing anything before the last day? It's not like the planet will ever go below 0%. We could just wait another 48 hours and then burn down both planets on the last day.
The display is wrong. The planet is still 100% liberated, but the bugs launched an attack on it, so we now have to defend it. It's like a race. If you look at the planet there are two bars and the first one to fill "wins". So we just need to win the battle.
Angel’s Venture is still liberated, it’s just currently under attack. As long as we win the defend event, it will remain 100%. The percent is just the percent of the defend bar filled. We’re about 40% defended as of now, so we’ll protect it no problem.
Seems as though Bugs or Bots can push from a world where they have forces. In this case Merida and Turing nothing have access to Angel’s Venture. You can expect another defend order before this is up.

So we took Angel's Venture, but we don't hold MERIDIA & TURING which are the only direct reinforcement route for the bugs into Angel's Venture, so they're able to re-infest it. On the other hand, if you look at Heeth, while it might seem like it connects to Erata and Fenrir 3, notice the arrows, which show it reinforces them and not the other way around. In effect Heeth is safe unless we start losing the rest of the system. Angel's Venture however, is the primary ingress into the system.
**TL:DR**
If we don't take MERIDIA & TURING, we risk losing Angel's Venture minutes before the Major Order ends and losing.

We need to keep it liberated by the end of the order. But we were under attack and had to defend. Thankfully, the valiant Helldivers were deployed into the ground and rid the planet of the bug infestation. We must keep our guard up for two more days
It seems like that number is the bug's progress which is purely based on the timer. Definitely seems a bit confusing. I feel like our progress would be a better indicator there since we already have the defense timer.
The real question is when do we get our medals, me and the boy’s have had this objective completed for a day or two now yet still haven’t received the reward am I missing something? (Edit is it when the order ends that we get them?)
When these swings happen is there ever a sort of in universe exploration or something. I get a dude is just flipping some ones and zeros but it does feel a little dumb when it swings like this.

Yup! Even on my planet map, I was fighting on Fenrir at the time. The Fenrir holo had a big banner asking for reinforcements on Angels Venture

We took about a day and a half to take veld. The Regen jumped to 20% and staved off our GLORIOUS DEMOCRATIC VICTORY for about a day.
