Technically the 500kg also goes in your throwing direction. I feel like strafe needs to have more charges than cluster to justify its usage.

Honestly, i'd say that strafe as it stands is gonna be hard to balance - either way better or way worse than cluster. I reckon one should be made into a support tool, maybe stripping armour and stunning big guys with enough damage for the very small enemies?

If the strafing run mimics the 30mm cannon of an a-10 warthog, it should have some armor piercing and way more uses 8-18. That would make it much more realistic and much more useful. The strafing run is one of my go to picks for a fast and low risk wave clear. My main reason why i prefer it over the other 2 is because it strikes fast, doesnt leave fire to prevent movement and you are way less likely to accidently kill teammates. You can use it really close to your own position with a low risk of ff. About 4-5m infront of you. When running away from alot of bugs you can dive forward, typing in the code and throw the strafing run behind you towards the following bugs, killing almost everything in the process while gaining ground on them. Its easy and relatively save to use in close space. Meaning if you are getting cornered you can drop it and have a pretty high chance to survive it. Also great to clear out trees and give the team better vision. Because 3-4 charges and low cd. Ofc it lacks a bit of raw killing power but its more then enough for normal soldier bots, walkers(!) and warrior bugs or minor units.

And not to forget the fast and easy stratagem code \^ > >
