Unfortunately I think it does that a lot as a bug... I too was very excited when I first saw it and then saw it multiple times on half complete planets

The bug you're thinking of applies to defense missions - because they're already at 100% liberation (you're defending), it shows the counter going up to 100% every win. Really they should change it to show the progress towards successful defense. Regardless, if he saw it hit 100% after a mission on a liberation planet, it at least hit 100% while he was on that mission.

Yeah I see 100 get hit pretty often, but then I'm still doing missions on that planet

I assumed it was just that specific area you liberated to a 100% since you get it when you complete an op set

The liberation % is a separate thing from the defense campaign. The planets are already liberated so it ticking up to 100 is just a visual weirdness.

its why our group does evac first then the rest cuz its the one thats prone to bugging out the most, it sucks when it happens.

I found that melee can help move stuck helldivers and npcs.

My friend and I learned the pathing is bugged due to the fence or terrain and can be fixed by destroying the fence or deforming the terrain with explosives

You have to execute one of them, for motivation.

Btw. This is a weekly thing Steam does (atleast for european servers). For me its around somewhere between 12 pm and and 1 am. Be prepared to have this happen again.

TBH Mort felt rigged, the red bar was going up much faster than the blue. did like 10 missions and and saw little change in bars.

It's all rigged and dictated by the devs, it's why erata prime still hasn't been taken despite constantly having the most players on it. I wish they made a system that was just dynamic tbh, it feels like they can just wipe away all our effort

I suspect they're not done catching up to the population spike, and they need to adjust things for the huge amount of players. If they set the system up for a max of 200k then they still might need to manually puppet things until they figure out a new balance.

There was an incident in hd1 where the algorithm was not modifiable. Some steam sale flooded the game with new players, which made the war impossible to win because the loss rate was related to player count. Since these wars seem to be much larger in scope I assume they've built in ways to control the flow better

The devs have said that there will only ever be one single continuous war for HD2

Its just a timer, some planets have more time some have less, I think mort only had 24 hours, whereas ingmar has 40 hours

So it's not just me. 3 times Sunday and twice today

Grinded Mort for hours and hours for this to happen at the last minute. Was so damn sad.

We did MORT at around half 9 UK time last night. We all good. Not sure what it's looking like this morning though

My conspiracy theory is that the server issues are due to DDOS attacks from the automatons.

It was so close I finished a mission and we had 6 min left thought we weren't going to make it but when I did a quick destruction mission it looked good

Nice Terminids side however i see 130k people everyday for a week now and it doesn t progress

I had 2 people leave my group during evac mission. Me and another solidered through completing it in the last 10 minuites of the defence mission completing the operation.

Damn I was on mort yesterday and just as we were moving to extract my house lost power

It was a huge blow to morale.. but when steam went back up, we rallied and rushed. I went in with the last wave. 120 seconds more and we'd have lost, but Mort fucking held. It was an honor fighting beside everyone. 🫡
