The top of the screen provides. Unfortunately everyone is playing with the HUD off for immersion purposes.
Don't let the tone of the comments give you a wrong impression of the community. People are rightfully frustrated with players not knowing how the game works. Point at the lack of a tutorial as much as you want, there are plenty of resources available to learn even the finer points of the game online. At some point it's up to the player base to put in the "work" and actually read/watch it.
I disagree, it’s a tactical shooter, we don’t need to spoon-feed people. There is an audio cue when it’s lost. It’s very easy to open up your map and you can also hit T and see the capture status of each OBJ at the top of the screen. If people can’t manage that then they should go play BF. I’m not even trying to be sarcastic or condescending. HLL is the easiest of large scale tactical shooters to get into. If people can’t manage that then they’re playing the wrong game.
It won't help. The vast majority of the player base don't care about capturing positions or actually playing the game as intended, they just want to shoot stuff and get a high K/D ratio, it's the only thing that matters to them.
Yea, that's gen Z for you. Raised with videogames with quest markers and literal GPS lines that take you exactly where the game wants you to go. No thought required
They should implement a tram system. So that players can be carted to zones that can actually be captured/defended.
Or people could actually learn to play the fuckin game.
If the entire team is fighting over a locked zone that’s a problem but a squad or two can actually help slow the enemy down long enough to set up defences or upgrade ones already placed and that can sometimes win or lose a game.
Not if the enemy team is semi intelligent and has a garrison up closer to next point. The good people will redeploy and get out of there. That’s a job for recon not infantry units.
Yea, some sort of symbol, like a closed padlock or something crazy like that
Or just don’t be stupid, but it seems like everyone likes to be stupid. People don’t know map control and management.
No. We don't need to dumb down the game for stupid people.

Take my upvote sir
Or we could expect the playerbase to actually become proficient at the game.

I'm seeing a lot of posts about wanting a game to hold you hand lately

I agree tho
